I had no idea this was a Dollar General. Nice, clean store, friendly staff bodega like (minus the cat and bachata) which is needed in KCMO. The 3 stars is because they sell out of every item I need quickly. One day i came in and EVERY SINGLE WATER was gone. Sold out, completely. No other options. Since there are no other stores in KCMO to grab beverages, they should have stocked up better than this, especially during hot weather. Other items I have needed have been sold out. Quite a pain since your options are limited, especially if you dont have a car.

The Crossroads Art District has been waiting for a store like this for AGES! You may be asking.... Is it a dollar store, grocery store, or convenience store? The answer is a resounding "yes!" My husband and I have already dropped by for key fob batteries, dishwasher detergent, cold & flu medicine, a kitchen spatula, shampoo, ice cream, coleslaw mix, birthday card, and to-go salads. Prices are much better than Cosentino's grocery store downtown and more convenient (and nicer) than driving to Walgreens or CVS uptown. Thank you, DGX!

I've lived in Crossroads for 10 years; we've needed a quick stop spot like this for ages - walkable and with the basics at decent prices for times when I don't feel like trekking to the grocery store. Couple constructive criticisms - some more leafy greens would be great. And while I was in there, I heard a gospel song and then a country song over the in-store music. For a Dollar store in southern Missouri, perfect! But you're in the middle of the city, please "read the room".

I really love this store because it's convenient from where I live via the street car. However today I arrived between 10:30 - 11:00 am (Thursday) , the doors were locked & the employee inside shoo'd me away with hand gestures no explanation. The hours clearly posted were 7am-10pm yet there was no note on the door explaining the descrepency.

I have lived in the Crossroads for 9 years and I am so happy to have this store in the neighborhood! The staff are very friendly and helpful, great prices on groceries, they have a small produce section, they sell alcohol, it's always clean and fully stocked! It's great!!! Ocassionally it takes me a minute to find somewhere to park...

It is like no other. Not only was it super organized super clean but the staff there were absolutely amazing today. I felt comfortable and a store brand that's usually chaotic this place feels like Small Town Market. Happy holidays everyone

Love this place - very convenient for crossroads residents. However, they have serious inventory issues and are frequently sold out of entire categories! Also would love it if they stayed open later than 10pm, especially on weekends.

This is an extremely clean and organized store. I love that it opens at 7am! They have a good selection and things not at other Dollar Generals like icees and you can get a cup of fresh coffee. And wine!

Lovely place to go for a quick shopping experience. The workers there are kind, friendly and always willing to help. They always start off by welcoming you to the store which is always a plus

Brand new store. They carry more than I thought they would including fresh fruit and veggies. I like that they had little carts too. It's about a block from the trolley stop.

Unlike any "dollar store" I've ever been in -- clean, bright with a great selection. I was a guest in a nearby hotel and loved having DGX on the block.
