DO NOT use this company, they were totally unreliable and poor communicators. I was originally told that he would be on the property from 9.30 to 11 - it was never made clear to me that this was merely a time range for his arrival. When I called to clarify on the day of the appointment, Raeleen on the other end of the phone was unfriendly and curt when I asked for the time of his arrival again. 9.30-11am came and went, and by 11.50, with still no plumber, I rang again to ask for the reason of the delay. The staff member, Jodie, was unsympathetic to the fact that I had been kept waiting with no information and seemed irritated by the fact that I couldn't re-schedule or wait longer as I had other commitments to attend to. I would have understood if the communication by the company was handled better. They need to do a better job of clarifying that their time frames are a range only, and not make it sound like the tradesperson will be in attendance for the entire duration. Furthermore, if you tell me you're going to be here between 9.30 and 11, then be here between 9.30 and 11, or call me to let me know you're running late. It's extremely poor form to expect clients to be kept waiting for hours on end waiting for your tradespeople to hold up their end of the bargain. A little communication can go a long way, and it's really not that hard to give proper customer service and communicate appropriately, certainly saves a lot of hassle and angst.

We requested for a regular service of our evaporative cooler and ducted heater system. After servicing by Djs plumbing the heater was worse off and not functioning anymore. The plumber did not handle the work with any care and suffered a major failure the very next time it was turned on. We were unable to use our systems and they told us they couldn’t quote us to fix the systems until we paid for the servicing (which left them both nonfunctional). They eventually gave us the quote to fix the units and it was an additional $2300 on top of the servicing costs. No relevant feedback was given to us after complaint was sent in. They are happy to quote the service but once it’s booked and done, they ignored our communication voicing our concerns. Would not recommend this business as customer service is non existent after works are “completed”. EDIT RESPONDING TO REPLY: The email we received back to our complaint letter was only the explanation on quotation. There was no feedback to our quite reasonable remedy considering the situation after servicing.. Same concern was already voiced during a call with a supervisor right after the 2nd visit but again no effort was made to understand our dissatisfaction of service.

Jason and the team at DJS Plumbing recently completed a heap of work for me from gas line plumbing through to installation and repairs. Not only did they complete the work in a fast and efficient manner, but they also went above and beyond to assist me with poor installation, from a previous plumbing service by another company. As a landlord, I need reliable and expert professionals to do the job right and ensure that all meets within regulations. Thanks to Jason, I had no idea the work done previously by another company was non compliant. Not only did Jason pinpoint this, he also assisted me with dealing with the other company and charging me what was appropriate. I was pleasantly surprised to find such reputable companies who actually provided care, rather than hefty prices, were still in existence! After years of disappointing services, I finally now have a plumbing service I am happy with! I've had extremely disappointing experiences with DJS Melboume Plumbing services commissioned by VIC Housing. I had requested assistance for my grandparents, an elderly couple in their 80s who needed repair work, but the service was completely unreliable and unprofessional. The plumber attended the site multiple times, but failed to resolve the issue and on other occasions, they would falsely note that they had attended and close the ticket, even though they never showed up. My grandparents was left without any help and it was (and still is) a huge inconvenience for them. This lack of follow-through, dishonesty, and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this plumbing service to anyone.

Friendly, respectful tradesmen. Appt made Thursday morning for that afternoon. The tradesmen arrived right on expected time. The head tradie discussed with me my concerned then explained process they would follow to repair/rectify my issue. They moved furniture etc to perform inspections, repairs etc. Then at conclusion of service visit returned furniture etc back to original place then explained to me what they had carried out, the outcome and that they were finished. Asked if I had any questions or needed further information regarding the job. Bid me goodbye and left. Very professional, tidy quiet courteous and respectful of my home and goods. Highly recommend this business.

Being a busy single parent of three and extremely time poor my interaction with DJS Plumbing was a breeze!! From the initial phone call to make the booking for repair to the completion of the job all the staff were supportive, understanding, friendly and informative!! The tradesman who arrived at my house was like a breathe of fresh air and even helped my son move some things out of the garage with care until I got home!! He was lovely and courteous a true gentleman!! He even kept me informed of what was happening and going to happen and cleaned up after himself before leaving!! Such a seem less experience on the day before the Easter long weekend!! Thank you!!

Had a pipe burst and tried to get a plumber out to fix it. We let them know we had to turn the water off due to the amount of water coming out of the pipe. We were told the earliest a plumber could get to us was between 4-7pm at 7:30 we still had no plumber turn up so we called to get an update they lady we spoke to said she'd call us right back with an updated time frame and we never received a call back. We have tried calling again for an update as we need to use the water and could no longer get through to the phone number. Beyond frustrating and not good for an "emergency plumber"

Frits has fixed a few plumbing maintenance jobs at the property I’m currently at, so quick and diligently. I am very happy with his work and can’t speak highly enough. Being left on his own to do a 2 man job, a couple of times, just show how independent and capable he is. His friendly and courteous manner made the time he spent a pleasant experience. I would have no hesitation whatsoever referring him to get any job done. Note to the company. Frits is one of the most genuine, well equipped, independent employee you will ever find. His a keeper for sure.

From the office staff to the plumbers on site, I was pleasantly surprised by their professional attitudes and work. In my rental the drains clogged up and toilets wouldn't flush, the office staff shifted around jobs to get the plumbers in as soon as work orders were signed. Plumbers worked late , it was late evening, to ensure that by the time they left we could flush the toilet again as the priority and promptly came back to investigate the cause. Really happy with the whole team

Had a continual flow of hot water from kitchen sink which plumber addressed promptly, politely and professionally. Unfortunately the tap still drips but much, much slower.. I spoke to plumber about replacing those taps with a faucet that can accommodate my bench dishwasher as well. Also to update tap to single hot/cold tap rather than the current 2 tap handles. I am glad the fast flow is fixed and trust that updating kitchen taps will finally resolve the drip. Thank you. V Morphy.

Used DJS a few years ago to get a downpipe replaced, and was great value for money at about $200. It was colored colorbond and it was a high quality job. Two years later I called to get two different downpipes replaced. Same single story house with extremely easy access. The invoice came back at over $1200 for two downpipes. They said they needed two persons to do the job. When they did the job, only one person attended. Look elsewhere. Rip-offs!!!

Polite and punctual arrival first thing in the morning. Seem to have resolved the plumbing issue. However, I’m surprised that workmen are relaxed to go from house to house with a full blown cold and not even thinking of wearing a mask. I would have thought this had been highlighted to them by their manager. I rent and I have been asked to confirm if anyone in the house is isolating or has covid or has been exposed to it. Mhh, have I now?

Extremely nice guys who were well organised and kept us informed when they were on their way. We were quoted a reasonable price and the guys repaired the issue for us on the same day even though it was raining. They clearly understood the urgency of our issue and were incredibly understanding and helpful. Highly recommended and we'll be using them again if we have any future plumbing issues!

We had a call out via RACV Home Emergency on Saturday night. Jedd arrived within the hour and assessed issue requiring new toilet cistern. He was very pleasant and professional and put through a request for a quote to replace cistern. Received the quote via RACV on Monday and job was completed by Joe Wednesday morning, very promptly and professionally. Would recommend DJS 100%.

Attended RACV call out. Quick fix by turning off pump and was told replacement valve was needed. Had to chase quote. Accepted quote two weeks ago and had to pay upfront. Have called everyday. Am told that part is on back order and someone will call me back after talking to someone in warehouse. No return calls. Would not recommend.

Sometimes installations do not go to plan, but if or when that happens it's what people do to correct the situation that matters the most. DJS clearly value their people and their customers very highly, the trades people they sent were both highly skilled and proffessional. Very highly recommended.

Plumber came by did a temporary fix, but left us with no toilet for three days whilst waiting for parts approval from property manager. Explain the issue to support staff, and still cant send someone to come to fix the problem. The service was so poorly handled, that we wont be using DJS anymore.

Not sure of their plumbing ability but I hope it’s better than their driving. Whoever was driving the van east on the M80 this arvo shouldn’t have a license; tailgating for ages at 100kph, then nearly sideswiping another car as they tried to overtake on the left. Not cool!

The ducting unit generated a noise after being serviced. Our real-estate agent attempted to contact the plumber to come back to fix up, however no response from him. Today the ducting heating stopped working completely. Very disappointed and unhappy about.

The issue with the heating system was fixed but the communication with the customer could be improved. Also one of them use a personal bathroom without asking and at the end they leave the floor messy, not even a broom after finishing.

Replaced cooktop. They ordered the wrong size so it wouldnt fit, however worked hard to get me a new one and installed it same day. Did just mean me waiting round at the house for longer! Receptionist absolutely lovely and so helpful.
