For the Prejudice Employee Chance, I'm leaving this review today because I saw him be very nice and "code switch" to 3 Caucasian people in front of me and as soon as I walked up with my big smile and positive attitude..expecting the same pleasantries. He became very frowny..rigid and rude and Demeaning..just upon first sight...he kept this up throughout my visit..This is not excusable for anyone of of any race but the fact that Chance is African American...and I'm A dark Skin African American woman.. which he decided to treat like ..."The Darkie" was very sad and unfortunate. a person should get love and good vibes regardless of the color of their skin..or regardless of what shade of brown they are. Subtle racism, or colorism is very backwards and sneaky. This store should definitely adress it. The first time I was here the Employee rang up the items wrong but I didn't even notice or care because she was so pleasant. This visit ..The manager stated what she needed to state but still never was demeaning just doing her job. .Customer service is not common or easy to all but will get you very far. Like I said before I left,I wish you love and good energy Chance..that way you can have it to give others.

Service sucks, prices are not great, and it seems they resale used/defective shoes. I ordered some crocs for pickup from here as a last minute gift because the crocs store was too far from me and the malls were packed being the holidays and all. I picked up my order, and shoes from the bottom seemed they had been walked on and i also had to trim some rubber as it had extra rubber on the inside of the croc. I took it back as soon as i picked up and noticed and the girl at the register is clueless. The person in the front greeting just said they can order some for me as that was the last pair (like why sell a pair that’s not good in the first place) and i told her i needed them for today and that’s the only option she gave. None of them apologized, they couldn’t match the price for another pair of crocs (the ones i got were 25% off). Then the girl at the register tried to charge me again for the crocs i had already bought! This place is ridiculous. They are also sooooo slow. Never coming here again.

The worse DSW store I've been. This is the nearest DSW to my neighborhood but I wont go there ever. I've been there once to return 2 pairs of shoes and buy another. When I went out of the store I realized the cashier just returned one pair money back to me and went in again and talked to the cashier. She rudely said I just gave her one pair without bothering to check the cabinet that I reminded her was the one she store the shoes and told me to go away since she is busy. I talked to the manager but he did not believe me but the cashier. I said Im not going out of store till get my money back. He came after 15 minutes saying he has checked the camera and I was right then gave my money back. Worse customer service ever. I know no one is perfect and mistakes happens but the way they made me look in other customers eye like Im trying to get some money that is not mine and not bothering to check or even being polite was so so bad.

Guess what? I found the most amazing converse all Stars here at DSW and leather !!! I don't wear anything but animal skin. Guess what? I had my items straight get jacked outta the god forsaken bag I had this shoe in this photo: 2 of these in the bag and they were gone my other items were there except this my favorite. I'm pissed off because when we tell the website that there a hit if bug or virus transmitted to their website; they act like it can't happen. Their chat is ending consistently like something is not right. Besides the website it other vest thing that happened to a show addict. I suffer from buying fifteen pairs at a time one for each kid one for stranger on the street even . Man I need a group for shoe addiction like( DSW )SSA: shoe sales addict

I think DSW company should think again about this rude store manager called Tony ! I had a pair for return I didn’t know that final sale is not eligible for return and it didn’t mention when I was ordering them ! I asked him to take care of my return he refused to do that in very annoying way ! I asked him to show me online where I should look for nonrefundable items he said I can’t find your item and left me at the register and I was searching online myself !!! I m so sorry Tony you are not a human not even a store manager ! I know you could take care of my return but you rejected it in a very bad way ! I will not come back and never order online with this company !

DSW has a great selection of shoes for everyone in the family! Great clearance section too. The employees are nice enough. The lay out of the store makes everything very easy to find and the service is always swift no slow pokes here however my only complaint which is beyond the stores ability to correct is the parking lot. Do you like parking in spaces made for scooters? Then this place is for you? Do you like door dings on your car? Then this place is definitely for you! Do you like shopping carts taking your rear view mirror off your car? Then this parking lot is perfect for you!!!!!

Now that I am getting older and do not spend on shoes like I used to I don't go to DSW anymore but when I was younger I used to have lots of fun in there. They are supposed to be a discount shoe source but frankly I got better value just going to sketchers for super casual shoes that are very comfortable and their sale racks are phenomenal and just simply going to Macy's that always has a spectacular assortment of shoes some that are on sale some that are normal price and will cost the same thing as they do at DSW.

Sub par. They do not have a great selection anymore. They used to have some really cool shoes but lately they are hurting, and I'm sad that the one in Woodland Hills does not let you use the restrooms. How could you shop when you have to use the restroom? The one in Northridge is a lot better. The staff and store are much better and helpful also. It's tough to get any help at the Woodland Hills store. They even let you use the restroom.

Okay... so there are good DSW's and there are great DSW's. This one is amazing! show selection is ridiculously big! The main floor has a variety of shoes that are "regular" priced. Then you go upstairs and hit GOLD!! aisles and aisles of discounted shoes. I bought a pair of designer loafers that were 70% discounted that were regular priced everywhere else. Come, wear flip flops and shoe on.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great deals throughout the store. Become a rewards member and earn and/or get more goodies. Both floors of this warehouse was clean and well maintained. This was my first time at DSW. My overall experience was outstanding. Cashier David was awesome. He signed me up for the rewards program. Jason was on the floor and assist me on the second floor.

There was a young lady that was so sweet. She was very knowledgeable about the running shoes I was trying to purchase and noticed a possible problem with a size. She was correct and I appreciated her looking for the correct size, her caring and professionalism. She was in your Woodland Hills store, had very curly hair that was short and pulled back.

The other day I submitted a review of one star I was feeling very upset and frustrated due to the issue of being charged for the same item twice I was finally able to contact the store manager Mindy who was very understanding AND was able to help me I want to apologize for giving the store a poor review I feel really bad for doing that

They have good selections and good offers but the quality is always off. Most of the shoes has been tossed around for years and they will get destroyed easy with mild use. I have made the mistake of going back one too many times and I think if they don't do something about the quality, they would go out of business

Every time we go to look at Men's shoes we don't find a huge selection especially for smaller sizes. It also seems a little silly to me that it's a two story huge building with 1/8th of the space dedicated to men's foot ware. We also had zero customer service while we were there.

DSW has an app to view available shoes and what can be shipped to your home. I prefer to put on the shoes and walk on the carpet. I use both to make decisions since shoes are pricey. They helped with shoe insoles but need help with arithmetic at counter.

Tried on a pair of hiking shoes and found a pair that fit and looked good so I grabbed them. I then proceeded to go look at some tennis shoes and found a pair that looked nice so I went to try them on at the little seat they have on every

It has a decent selection and some other sportswear, but nothing special. Was there for 20 minutes and no one on staff greeted me or asked if they could help. Price is about the same as anywhere else. Nothing distinguishing but not bad.

Always a pleasant experience although my preference is ordering online due to broader selections. The agents are super helpful and can assist with online order, should you find an item in store that's available online, in your size.

Avoid Marisol if you can. She hates seeing you save money. It as if it comes out of her paycheck. She wouldn't let me use a reward and a coupon together. I went home and was able to use 3 discounts all together ordering online.

Typical DSW. It can be hit or miss and sometimes the clearance shoes don't have laces. They have good promos and offer lots of discounts in their emails so it's one of the rare times I didn't regret giving out my information.

Went in there with a problem with my kids shoes and the manager was very nice and helped me above and beyond the call of service. Great service, great selection and shop here for all your shoe needs. Won't shop anywhere else.

Not a happy place. $10.- should have been deducted, supposedly no e-mail, but that was established long before. Well, the shoe's i picked out i am going to return. They are to have. I was exited going there. Not anymore.

Avoid Vanessa & Claudia. Rude. Checking out is always a breeze with the other employees who are generally nice. Unfortunately there are some that have a stick up there and try to spread their discomfort, I mean joy.

Awful customer service in the store; they send coupons out in mail/email but there is always expemtions that make the coupon not worth it; they are supposed the match prices with online stores but don’t actually.

I had an extremely unpleasant woman ring up my purchase. I could have done without her rudeness and political ranting about how "patriarchal our society is". Next time I will order online or go someplace else.

Horrible. Took my on line order and billed my card. Get to store and they cannot fulfil my order. Would not even go to stockroom to see if shoes are there. Refund will take 3-5 business days. Total scam!

Decent selection of styles. Nothing in my size though! Thought I found a pair of converse but they turned out to be women's size 14....if only they were Peggy Hill's size 16, then they would've fit me!

I came here to use the curbside services. Not very nice staff. People park their cars in curbside services and and wasn’t even use it for that. They handed my order with no receipt are anything..

Granted, finding closed toed pumps here was totally unsuccessful (are they just out of style? Seems weird to me), but the store is huge, clean, and they do have a great selection.

Great customer service. They have an separate area for the shoes to be tried on with distance between them and disinfectanta near by so you can clean where you gona try them on.

Found a few pairs of shoes for my gf quite quick. The staff helped us right away and came back to check on us a few times. Will go back for sure if every time is like this.

The prices are okay. Not much cheaper than Nordstrom's rack or Macy's. The employees are very helpful and professional. Men's sales section has a horrible selection.

The manager was so rude. They have 3 month return policy but the manager was questioning for almost 10 minutes why you want to return the shoe!!!!!!

Its a good shop with a decent selection. Prices aren’t any different than any other store or even a Macys sale. But you get what you need from it.
