AVOID!!!!!! RUN DOWN SMELLY BACKSTREET SALON. I was very disappointed with my experience at Damas Hair & Beauty. I've never felt as uncomfortable in a salon as I felt as soon as I arrived I was being rushed out the door as soon as possible! When asked what I wanted done to my hair, the hairdressers reply was ' the lady is coming in 5 minutes' what a surprise that was the salon was completely empty. After waiting for around 20 minutes she finally turns up and rushed me with my consultation and began cutting my hair whilst answering several phone calls . She had no clue how to cut hair at all section by section. She grabbed my hair and gave it a chop and said its done and left the salon. As I was waiting for the receptionist to blowdry my hair I had told her that i am not happy with the cut at all it was rushed 5 minutes and cut dreadfully. The owner 'derekatta' has no experience what so ever it's a run down salon with dirty towels, dirty floor and no space to have your hair washed. The brushes they use for the hair are filthy. Overall I am very disappointed to have gone to a ladies only salon which is a run down filth. I would not return to this salon ever again!!! AVOID!!!!! The salon is a backstreet run down smelly dungeon. It reaks of bo zero hygiene. They will rip you off by taking money of you prior to any treatment so that you can't have a refund or anything.

I have been coming to Dikriyat for years she is definitely good at what she does. Colouring make up and hair cuts are the best I always come back to her. I live in Oxford now but every time I am in Birmingham I will come down. Her blow dries are exceptionally fabulous.

this place is amazing if women wants to get their hair done in privacy. no male or any walking people can see women having they hair done, very comfotable place to be in the owners are very friendly and amazing
