Walk into Dan Murphys Eltham walked up the back looking for a nice bottle of Jamieson Irish whiskey. Had security stand and end of the isle watching me for five minutes while I decided. Went to next isle down security follows me and stands at the end of the isle watching me. Thinking to myself that's a bit unusual lol. Head to cashier and security guard is standing between myself and the door watching me pay. Fair dinkum Dan Murphys sort your staff out, at least tell them to make it less obvious they are stalking customers based on unkown profiling. I might just head into BWS or the bottle shop next time.

Dan you are the man. Your stores are well laid out and easy to navigate. Especially if you're in a hurry which is usually the way for me. The range is extensive and even when I'm one of the many that comes in and says 'have you got this bottle of wine, I accidentally drank it' there is a smiling, nodding face that understands my faux pas. My store in Eltham is wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Heaps of parking out the front. Lots of trolleys. Bonus - staff are always very helpful and will even help take my goodies to the car. Thanks Dan.

Many times when I have visited the store, a staff member has asked me if I needed help. Not being pushy, just letting me know they are there if I need help When I have sought advice, I have received great feedback. The staff are knowledgeable and don’t try to “upsell” you. A special shout out to Bec (Rebecca) who has been so personable, kind and helpful. Thank you! A great range, good pricing and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

NOT RAPT IN LACK OF GIFT WRAPPING... Ordered a bottle of spirits online today for a friend's big birthday, and it said it would be delivered from Dan Murphy's Eltham. I selected gift wrapping and a card. Said alcohol was delivered, wrapped in a bit of plastic, no card and no confirmation email. At least it made it there (hence 2 stars) and the recipient eventually figured out who sent it!

I've been shopping at this site for many years ,but twice this year a worker named Damian a bald head fella has been extremely rude . The last time he told me they don't price match dan murphys in sunshine . So if you wish to shop there avoid him at all cost so you have a nicer experience. All other stuff are alot nicer and are happy to help just seems Damian is on a different page

Very big selection of alcohol and everything is well labelled so you know what you're spending. Staff were very helpful and friendly, most are able to answer any questions you have but if they don't know then they get someone else to help you. Stocked up on some seltzers which had a good saving with my Dan Murphy's loyalty card.

Hopeless trying to order for delivery - spoke with woman who spoke too fast for me to hear her properly I had put 1/6 doz bottles in cart but could not get to the delivery section! I am cross and frustrated I am a member but have no longer got my password I’ll have to try some other outlet As this is hopeless

Best liquor place for Lower prices. Lots of varieties. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Ample parking outside and it's usually quiet. Good offers for members and you usually view offers online. Quite a stock of whiskey. This was the only place in North Melbourne where we could find liquor candy.

I dropped some beer and they were polite. This store is good. Dan's stores in general though are not that good. They need a tablet/app that allows you to locate your wines instead of searching for ages. Also the rewards card should be points based. Limited rice spirit range.

I was ID upon entry (I’m 35 years old and visibly ageing) and I did not have ID on me as I was only going into the store to purchase candied cherries. I was then told to leave the store. The manager is extremely rude. Will not be giving any of my business back to this store.

There's a lot to love about Dan Murphy's and I guess most people know that. They really can't be beaten for variety and the prices represent value for money. But this particular store (Eltham) has attracted a great staff group - always friendly and helpful in my experience.

Amazing range of products all seperated and sorted in a very professional manner. Cheapest liquor store franchise you will probably find in the area and maybe even the country. Staff are friendly and helpful and store has a great atmosphere. All your liquor needs in one

Plus: Helpful staff. No coins/tokens needed for trolleys. Trolleys have foot brakes to prevent runaways in adjacent sloping carpark. Minus: Some aisles blocked with boxes on pallets, or boxes waiting to be stacked. Shelves carrying Rose wines were poorly stocked.

The store and selection is fine, but getting a delivery is hard via the website, a lot of back and forth as you don't know it isn't in stock until you go to checkout. Specifying a date for the delivery is also hit and miss. Not great for sending gifts.

I could have walked through checkout without paying for 46 dollars of beer. But alerted staff and correctly charged No offer of even a beer for my honesty, not sought, but better business would have made some recognition Poor business, no Competitors?

Chris and David's knowledge of wine and single malts is extremely helpful when you are not quite sure what to dive into. The instore range is vast as well.. Tim is the goto for beer. Thanks for all your help.

Easy to find the drinks that you need,at a cheap price and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of parking too. A great range is available and there's plenty of specials. Speedy check out too.

Store is good, fairly standard Dan's. But quite possibly the worst designed car park in Australia. It is just pure chaos most times. Park around the side away from the entrance to keep your sanity.

The staff and service at this store was fantastic. We had 5 different members show a genuine interest assisting us with our selections. This is a credit to the management of this store. We’ll done.

The staff here are always friendly and whenever I've asked, given great recommendations. If they don't have a particular product, they can normally send you in the right direction to find it.

Prices at Dan's are on the increase, my first choice is Aldi liquor now. One good thing with Dan's is they frequently announce Covid-19 store policy which helps with social distancing ect.

Nice layout, well stocked, members prices are reasonable and cheaper then other places. Staff seemed friendly and overall I’d travel to Eltham from greensy to get what I need.

Always love the variety at Murphys.. Prices overall are not that competitive considering some of the smaller chains like bottlemart has better prices with alot of items..

The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. This was a major help when I was recently shopping for wine gifts and this is not at all my area of expertise.

Rather large store, most comprehensive in the area. The Liquor Land and BWS in Eltham are tiny in comparison. Prices are competitive. Parking is also good.

It's Dan Murphy's lots of booze and friendly staff at reasonable prices. They set the standard really and the Eltham store is no exception to this rule.

They have a good deal going, if you can make it out of the store with any bottle of alcohol down your pants, it's free of charge. Will shop there again

Wide selection of wines and spirits, however the beer selection is fairly small for a store that size. Plus the prices really aren't that competitive.

2 boxes of wine, overcharged $10 on each one. Lucky I checked. No apology either. Guy next to me overcharged on slab of crownies! Check b4 you pay

They run a fantastic click collect service at this store. Employees are all great. Staff even ask if you need help getting cases out to the car.

Always got what you need. Usually at the best price around. Rewards card does nothing though....need a reason to have it really.

Was unable to get an online special due to an app issue. They price matched the online price in the store, excellent service.
