My daughter and I went to do a preliminary search for her engagement ring on December 22nd. The sales person was Nancy. I only know this because about half way through, I asked her name. She didn't introduce herself, nor did she ask who we were. This was just the start. We explained that my daughter wanted to try on several diamonds shapes with different types of bands. 14 carat Gold, white gold and rose gold. During the search, Nancy was asked the approximate size of the diamond she was trying on. We were quickly told, this isn't a real diamond, just a place holder, which we knew. So, we rephrased the question and said, if this were a real diamond approximately what carat is it? My daughter was trying to get an idea of what size worked best for her. She found a couple of rings she liked, so she asked what would the approximate cost be for the ring with a real diamond versus a lab grown? Nancy said that is something she would discuss with her fiancee when he came in. My daughter was looking for cost so she would know if she is within her fiancee's budget. Bottom line is Nancy was not helpful so we went to another store. That sales person showed Samantha different carat weights and color diamonds. Also discussed pricing for a real diamond versus lab grown. She and her fiancee don't plan to return to Diamonds Direct and neither do I for any of my jewelry needs.

I took in a Raymond Weil watch that I inherited from my father to change the battery and Daniel provided fantastic service and did not even charge me for the labor or battery. Then I decided to change the wristband as it was pretty worn out and he recommended a excellent aftermarket option (Barton) that I could get a much cheaper price than the manufacturer and then when it arrived, he changed that also with no labor charge!!! this chain is fantastic, highly recommend.
