I have been a long time, committed Dillards shopper up until today when this store obviously hired a bad seed onto their management team. I bought a pair of shoes for $59.99 from the Green Hills Dillards store several months ago. I went to return it and the item was 90 days past due. The item was still in store, but had been discounted since I purchased it. However, it was in the original box and had never been worn. I had accidentally brought the wrong original receipt with my item because I had bought 5 different items on different days that same week. I was honest with the manager and told her that the item was still 90 days past due and explained to her the multiple purchases on multiple days and I asked if she could please give me a store credit for the item. She was very nice and said she’d be happy to give me store credit, if I could just bring back the original receipt and show what I paid for the item. I went back home and laboriously went through the trouble of sorting through all of my clothes receipts, found the receipt and returned it to the store on a different day, only to be told by a different “manager” (Renalda?) that she would not return the item because it was past 90 days. I explained the situation multiple times with zero understanding or compassion towards me and my situation. She was behaving unfriendly from the beginning of the interaction, no smile, no how can I help you, just nasty. She was exhibiting an abuse of power, in my opinion. I explained how frustrating it was that she wouldn’t consider giving me what was promised to me by another staff manager after all the trouble I went through to locate the receipt, drive back and return the item a second time. Obviously, I wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble of searching through my receipts and making another trip out of my way to the store if I had not been told that they would refund me in full with a store credit by a store manager. This “manager” didn’t care how inconvenienced I, her customer, was by the situation and neglected the fact that a store manager who had full decision making authority had already agreed and instructed me on the steps to take in order to get a full store credit. She repeatedly kept saying, I can’t return this item because it’s past 90 days. Honestly, I don’t understand her motivation to be so inflexible regarding the situation . After all, I wasn’t asking for a refund back on my credit card, I was only asking for store credit, which was what was originally promised to me. The store would not have lost any money as a result of providing this customer courtesy for me. Customer service is everything to me and if you can’t provide good customer service then I don’t want to be a customer. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Dillards as a result of my experience. Dillards failed to deliver on their promise and this failure was over a simple $59 item. This practice is absolutely unacceptable, I am beyond disappointed and it’s truly a shame that due to one bad seed with no customer service skills that Dillards has lost a long time committed shopper of 30 plus years!!

One of the lady at Dillard in Green Hill mall was so rude. She works at the North Face section. I came in the exchange the jacket that I just got at present for my birthday but I did not like the color. She told me that no exchange, but the receipt said 3 days returns and my sister just bought it the day before. I told her that and she ask me “Really?” I show her the receipt and she did the return for me in the dillard gift card. They also having extra 40% off on that day for the member, and I’m have the member card. I told her I have the Dillard credit card, but she didn't say anything and charge me full price for the new items I bought on my exchange gift card instead of the dillard card so I can have my 40% off. I thought the north face jacket I got was not included in the sale. I did not notice until two days after when I go shopping with my mom at Dillard in Franklin Cool Spring Mall, my mom buy the same jacket like me, and she got her 40% off. I was so mad when I realized it. However, the lady at this Dillard was so nice, she help to return my money back. I was so thankful for her.

I was in Dillards in Greenhills this past Saturday. I Always shop there. I live in Clarksville where we have Dillards but I drive to Greenhills because the clothes selection in clarksville for plus size women is horrible. Flowers and tablecloth looking. While at greenhills Dillards I went to the shoe department to buy pink shoes. I ask the associate to bring my size. She wasn’t very nnice. After being gone for about 2 minutes, She returned and said they were completely SOLD OUT! Disappointed I said thanks. I continued to browse. there wasn’t another pink shoe Something told me to ask a different associate about that same shoe. I did. Minutes later she came back with the shoes. I could say it was just overlooked. But the lady who bought me the shoes knew exactly who i referred to when I told her what happened. This really bothered me.

I previously had a negative experience here but the manager today helped redeem this store. I had bought a dress for my backyard wedding here and the wedding was cancelled due to the groom getting Covid. I tried to return the dress after buying it a few weeks ago, but because it was a 3 day return, they would not give me store credit. This wouldn’t have been an issue if they hadn’t given me store credit on another item that was a 3 day return about a month ago. I spoke with a manager and she explained the policy to me but did give me store credit given the situation and the fact that the dress had never been worn, had the tags on it, and I had my receipt. I understand the policy now but appreciate the manager’s willingness to help me in this situation.

I went into this location on 2/14/23 a little after 7pm, in search of Prada perfume. The lady that worked in that department was very rude and was 1 octave away from yelling at me that they didn’t sell that product. I was very shocked at her behavior and that Dillards would even employ some like this. It was close to closing time and she was about to count her register (well at least that’s what she appeared to be doing) had I not had a 7 yr old child with me, the outcome would’ve been a lot different (thank GOODNESS for growth!) I have tried to reach the corporate office about this incident, but haven’t been successful! I don’t plan to ever step a foot inside a Dillards ever again…Especially when Macy’s sells the perfume that I was looking for!

AMAZING store with the best SELECTION ever! I would like to comment on the home department. I was shopping for wedding gifts and an older gentleman was working in this department. He is AMAZING AMAZING! Dillards he needs to be the model for all of your employees. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is the only employee that came to me and ask me if he could help me. He checked on me during my shopping in this department. He has the BEST ATTITUDE! Dillards you have a true gem employee and please let him know his kindness, attitude, and knowledge is the reason for this give star review! I appreciate great customer service and I wish this kind of service was everywhere! Keep up the great work!!

I was told Lidia Mills was excellent in assisting you shop. So I went to her department Antonio Melani and she helped me find a red outfit for a special event. She was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Thank you for hiring someone that cares and knows what they are doing. The drive to Nashville was well worth it. I also had a very good experience with 3 different salespeople in jewelry , where you buy Lucky, Kate Spade .I failed to write their names down and I would share their names if I remembered. My cousin and I spent over $400 In that department and we just happened to walk by without any intentions of making a purchase at all.. Dillards make shopping a wonderful experience!

I love Dillard's and this store at Green Hills in particular. I feel like their clothing is well above Macy's and even Nordstrom. Wide selection in every department. I had to find a dress for my son's wedding plus shower and rehearsal dresses, thought the bridal stores or other department stores mentioned above would be the place to go but I was mistaken! Dillards was the answer! Found dresses for all the events, jewelry, shoes and a few more things that I fell in love with and had to have!! And Lydia in women's dresses is awesome! My next shopping trip will be to Dillard's and I will likely save myself a significant amount of time, frustration and maybe money too!! My new favorite store!!

Dillard's management while I'm sure it was important for you to have a management meeting at 11:00 a.m. when I was there trying to find somebody to help me in housewares everybody was busy in the management meeting. Then when I returned at 11:30 to men's shoes to buy some men's shoes there was nobody that could help me and the nice man in men's clothing could not even look up shoes in the computer by brand. I think it's important that you do the best you can for the Dillard brand and that you stay open because I do enjoy what you have however maybe you could hold management meetings with non-essential employees and rotate the meetings or hold them prior to the store being open.

On 4/23/2022 I went to Dillard at green hills to find a clothes for party . Dolores Heller was at cash register I think her shift was end but when I asked her I need a outfit for party she went beyond help and spend a time find a perfect outfit for me . OMG she was super nice . Make me to go back and buy more dresses. She had wonderful taste and excellent customer service skill. Dillard is lucky to have her. I am recommending who needs help in 3 min should go see her . Seriously she found my perfect dresses in 3 min . Thank you so much for all you’ve done for me . Dolores Heller you are amazing .

This Dillard’s is beautiful, and is only a few years old. The interior of the store is clean, well organized, and not cluttered. The men’s section specifically is very well kept, I’ve noticed. Even on sale racks, items are in the correct places with clear signage. I could probably spend a million dollars in here if I tried on North Face, Levi’s, Lacoste, and Polo Ralph Lauren. The service we received was also great, with employees genuinely interested in helping us, no matter how much we were or weren’t spending. The men’s fitting rooms were also very clean and spacious. No clutter anywhere.

My experience shopping at Dillard's was a great one. The Sales Associate, Terrance, was so helpful and very professional. The service he gave was impeccable. There wasn't much help on the the floor I was shopping on, Terrance was very patient and did his best to accommodate each one of us who were shopping in different departments, there were several departments that didn't have Sales Associate, Terrance did an amazing job with his service in every department.

True, it is the best Dillard’s in Nashville, but some of their salespeople can be pretty full of themselves particularly the guy over in Polo. He was one of two sales people that looked up and stared as I passed their counter. I said “hello“. They didn’t say anything. So, the next time I saw him on a later visit and he looked at me, I ignored him. I have never understood how people that work in clothing stores making minimum wage can be so arrogant.

Why even have a phone if the only person who ever answer it is someone who connects you to a department that never answers No matter how many times or at what time of day I call, no matter whether or not I leave a message, I NEVER get anyone to actually pick up in a department. Just get rid of the phone system if there’s never going to be someone to actually provide customer service over the phone. So tired of it!

Dillard's is a fantastic company and this particular store does a lot for the community. People working and managing this location really focuses on out reach and helping those who need it the most. They also have some fantastic clothes, electronics and house stuff for your everyday and special needs. Check this store out and know that what you spend is also used to help others

I'm ashamed to say, first time we've visited since NEW store opened! Parking easy, escalators and elevators close by to use. I would suggest whether you park on P1, P2, or P3, go inside the glass doors, get on Elevator not escalator, and punch either shopping on Floor 1 or Floor 2. Much easier we found!! Store was great and lots of merchandise, and clerk's were helpful!!

I enjoy shopping here for the higher quality stuff and willingness of the associates who are interested in helping out. The return policy on “special dresses” is absurd, but considering the area you’re in it’s probably not a bad idea. READ the RETURN POLICY on the back of the receipt. If your unsure, keep the tags affixed to the item & Expeditiously take it back.

Are you kidding me? Is everybody in N'ville rich? Admittedly I haven't been in any place but Target and Old Navy for since pre Covid. I was in for sticker shock. They cheapest blouse was $40, the one I liked was 350! Shoot me. What I can't understand is with as many sales folk as customers how they stay in business. Oh well, not my prob. Not going back.

The manager i spoke to in customer service with short blond hair named jennifer was awful to say the least. I received no customer service instead being talked to like a child. I have never in my life had a experience like this especially at a Dillards which i love shopping at. She needs to be reevaluated the way she speaks to customers

As they don't have Dillard's in SOCAL. I strolled into this one in the nice upscale Green Hills Mall. It is a very nice destination store with associates willing to assist. I wouldn't say this store is comparable to Nordstrom or Neiman but definitely two steps above Macy's and at Bloomingdale's. Found a couple nice items for gifts.

Dillard's is a great department store that meets your everyday needs. When Dillard's are having a sale it is usually a great sale with good bargains. However, it appears to be staffing problems in every department. Which is why I can't give Dillard's 5 stars. The parking is great and safe in the garage.

I'm not a mall shopper, but I stopped by for a specific product. While there I browsed Dillard's men's shoes, suits, and ties. The men's area was a disaster. Shoes lacked labels and prices, ties were strewn about and cluttered, men's underwear and belts looked like a teenager's room. It was pathetic.
