Spent almost 3 hours in dischem the other day. Firstly the queue for the dispensary to get the medication was so long and only 2 pharmacists assisting while there were staff walking up and down the aisles. so about 1 hour spent in that line. The pharmacists were not concerned at all just casually chatting to each other as they assisted the clients. No urgency at all. Surely others are trained to assist. Also have to note that it was a pension pay out day so the pharmacy was full of pensioners who had to sit around for hours. Surely the dischem management team are aware of these dates and should make sure that there are enough pharmacists on duty throughout the day???Then spent about 1.5 hours waiting in line for the sisters to be freed up to get the injection and there was not even a long line there so Heaven knows what took so long. It was not even lunch time. I got in at 1.30pm and left at just after 4pm. I have to drive further but I would rather go all the way to Mall of Africa or Northgate. Their service is 100% better. The only reason they getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because they at least have a full complement of cashiers at the normal check out.

The great thing about shopping at 'Dis - Chem' pharmacies is that 1. they're all well stocked, 2. Their personnel are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist, 3. If you have a doctor's prescription it can be loaded onto their computer system and you can recieve your medication at any 'Dis-Chem' pharmacy, 4. If you have a 'Dis-Chem' card and an eBucks card you are part of their loyalty program and you enjoy many benefits, 5. They don't just sell a product to generate a sale. Recently I was referred to a doctor for a more indepth investigation and analysis. This is after I had consulted with experienced people including their inhouse manager. Their advise was to get to a qualified and experienced doctor right away. I'm very grateful that I had the procedure done and am recovering well. The result is, that I returned to purchase a few more items to use for my post operation. Thank you.

Having problems when the get the prescription ready for collection. They don't give all the pills and then write on the box (X) pills to follow. A person does not see that they have written that and they don't communicate it with you and then you have to drive back to the shop to collect the shortfall. This last time took the cake, one of my schedule 5 pills they only dispensed 1 with 29 to follow so I cannot go back to the shop the following day and am going without my mess. They are dropping the ball. The only thing to do now is to go and queue and see that all the medication is packed correctly. It is most frustrating. If it only happened once you could accept it but it seems to be happening a lot and to other people too. A person cannot get through bu phone to speak to the pharmacists or a person with a higher authority.

Absolutely disgusting service from Sister Bonolo at the clinic. I took my 2 month old baby for her vaccine and firstly waited for 30 minutes after making an appointment. I was told she was on lunch. She then made her royal arrival. Then proceeded to argue with me about being in the room. I explained to her that I was just there to answer the questions that needed to be answered and would leave. Hubby would be with baby whilst she gets her vaccine. She then proceeded to argue with me. Told me that I needed to sit for her to proceed and I told her I would rather stand. She went on and on and I told her again that I'm only there to answer the questions and would leave. She then told me to sit outside. Please stay away from her and her attitude.

Getting worse and worse by the day. Ordered for collection, they called to say the order was ready, the app said it was ready and I go to collect and the order had not been processed or packed. No one apologizes for any inconvenience, no one is friendly, everyone seems like they are overworked. This is one of the few businesses that I'm sure are doing well in these hard times, so are they just being arrogant about it and not employing more staff to handle the capacity? Update: 30.11.2021 After complaining to the store manager i was skeptical that anything would change, but it since has gotten a lot better and I'm very impressed. Thank you

Absolutely the worst service ever, I came in to return an item so I stopped at the desk in the front they then took me to the back close to dispensary section anf told me to wait for someone to assist. I stood waiting for 20 minutes and no one assisted me. There is a group of staff standing around doing nothing and can clearly see I require assistance but don't care. If I could give a rating of zero stars out of five I would. Then eventually I get the attention of someonr and get told I'm standing in the wrong place and should go stand somewhere else. However the lady that assisted me really did make it a better experience.

Horrible Covid 19 protocols. The shop is full of elderly people and no social distancing in place. The self medication que is very close to the prescription medication que. It was said that there is 9 tellers working however for the 5 minutes standing there only 5 operated. I complained at the manager and it was stated that the system is slow. This is no excuse to no social distancing. If the shop is full ensure that people a blocked from entering the shop. We might be on level 1, but that does not mean that Covid 19 is on level 1.

Why do some staff members at Dis-Chem, Princess Crossing, provide such poor customer service? My request was a no-brainer reach under the counter and take a slip and put it on the counter. I was told in the worst tone of voice, very abruptly and rudely that "They (referring to other assists) will help me" as she is busy. Willingness and being able is clearly not common performance at this outlet. Who ever appointed this rude person should be fired. I will never shop at this store again.

Dispensary never answers the phone, and if you are lucky and someone answers. They just drop the call. When you submit a prescription for collection, it never gets done!!! When you arrive to collect the prescription, you have to go and sit in the queue in any case. The service that dischem supposidly gives, whereby customers can submit a prescription for collection, never happens!!! There service is the worste I have ever experienced!!!!!!!!

Overstaffed with people with stinking attitudes and no self respect judging by how they treat customers. Don't dare ask a question or for help, you will get eye balled and ignore flat. Definately a good example of people who hate their jobs. I wonder if people realize that if they chase customers away, eventually they will be without jobs and an income?

every time when i make a clinic booking they phone the day before the appointment to say they don't have stock this is the 4th time what's the point of making a booking, having it confirmed? Then a day before you call to say you don't have stock absolutely PATHETIC!!!! will advise to use other Dischem branches not this one!

I like doing shopping at Dischem Princess Crossing, but many times not enough tellers on duty resulting in long dreadful and tired lines, also NO LINE FOR PENSIONERS, (outside as well as inside) THE AGED!! A switchoff!!! They should learn how Checkers Stores give a very good service for the aged!!!

Dispensary Staff are great. Can't get through via telephone. It takes forever for them to answer a call or not even answer at all. The till manager Sibongile is one of the rudest people I have ever met. I have been dealing with her for some years now and she treats me like I'm a piece of rubbish.

Nice and neat place to go. It's a decent shopping centre with a variety of shops including pharmacies restaurants and ATMs. There is a lot of accessible free parking space. It is easy to find on the maps as well as off. Easily accessible with wheelchairs for those that need it to be.

Address on Google maps is not right, especially when searching.. because this dischem is not Roodepoort dischem..it's Princess crossing centre dischem, PLUS maps took me to Westgate mall.. saying that Westgate was Princess crossing.. which is incorrect

Got my booster shot 8th June 2022, 14:00. Most cruel nurse, gave me the most painful shot and showed no empathy, treating people like animals with an untidy desk. I've gotten 2 shots before and it wasn't a horrible experience.
