I have ordered Dixys around 200 times in my 4 years at uni. I now get it around twice a week as I live right around the corner. Having said this even if I lived over an hour away, I would still make the effort to get my teeth around a succulent double decker burger. If you go into dixys and don't get a double decker burger you have made a fatal mistake. When the wings and classic recipe chicken are on point I believe there is no where else in the world that does chicken as good as them. I have proof of this as my friend who lives in seoul has said he cannot find any fried chicken that compares to dixys in the entire city. Give dixys a visit to experience the best fried chicken around and to be made to feel at home by the sound lads who run this fine establishment. Edit: I have reached dixys pinacle. I ordered a double decker burger with curly fries and 8 wings around 2 hours ago. And let me tell you... The double decker burger was immense. The burger was steaming and the chicken fillets were crispy and flavorful. Overall I had a spiritual experience and that was just with the double decker burger. The curly fries were great as always, they are always the best no doubt about it. Now, on to the wings. They were the single greatest taste sensation. The crispy batter with that iconic dixy flavour and succulent chicken made the heavens align for an amazing finale to my experience. Honestly this is what I've been searching for and I hope one day you can experience this too. Much love, Dixys Man.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Blatant rip off and bare face liars!! Just ordered a value box meal which according to the menu and the sales assistant comes with a drink. Waited for my food to be served and came with no drink. Asked the service assistant what drink I wanted and he said it doesn't come with one. Couldn't be bothered to question it because I shouldn't have to. If they blatantly feel it's ok to do this to customers to make a few extra pence it says more about them as a person and a business if they can be so dishonest and think its OK to rip people off. Disgusting! I did like dixys and went regular but I won't be bothering now. I will take my money elsewhere so enjoy the few extra pence u have made on a can of tango guys. I doubt u will miss my money either if u think its OK to run a business like this and be so dishonest and lack care! AVOID!!

Very very bad. I went there yesterday with my daughter. The buns were cold. I told them about it. They used a microwave to warm them. Which is disgusting. I complained again, and they made the order again. Boss was not there so food was very poor. Will not be returning again.

I love their wings and combos. Best chicken with best bargain. The guys are nice and one day put extra wings so that we can share evenly. Their sauce is okay but just my personal experience try it with Sriracha. I think their loaded Box is a good deal. Enjoy!

Visited many dixy’s in birmingham but this one is by far the best! 5th visit in less then a week. Go there and eat wings..they’re fire Staff seems to have new kids but well behaved. Really busy during lunch times so expect a little delay! Not more then 5 to 10 mins tho..4 star!
