This is my local branch and have gone there a lot the last few Months of living near it, service is getting worse each time I go, last week I had to argue with the guy to take my payment via card at first saying the “boss” had said no but then did it after I couldn’t pay with cash. And then today I’ve called to order 2 pizza’s for a family birthday meal, I was told half an hour wait which I didn’t think was to much of a problem on a Saturday night, only to find when I got there the pizza’s hadn’t even been started yet! Guy wasn’t bothered or sorry at all, was asked bluntly if I still wanted them which I said yes because I had people waiting to which he then got the order wrong as well! After that I just walked out! I’m now sat in momma Mia’s instead, love eating at Dixy’s but seriously think I might start giving them a miss and start going back to KFC again

Terrible Costumer service and rude staff. I’d been a regular at this Dixy coming close to 10 years since it opened. How ever I’ll never be returning. The Iraqi manager (short guy syndrome) was so rude because I mentioned to him to cook my wedges before I get to the shop. Normally they like to make you wait 10/15 min on a collection order even if you have pre ordered. So I mentioned about the wedges. Come in store and can’t see my food so just stood there. The manager made me wait 10 min before pulling a bag from the side and saying oh here’s your food. Basically wasting my time anyway. He had already made the wedges but wanted me to wait anyway. He has a terrible attitude and it’s a shame for the guy who owns the business because 1 employee has alienated so many customers. Do not order they will mess you about.

Omg the service that I've just received from Kingstanding service is appalling and so disgusting. Never ever again. Requested a refund as order was missing and the food i had received was handed over to me in a screwed up ball way. When i opened the bag the sauces were leaking all over the food, a huge mess. I wasn't happy had to chase the refund up. Once the delivery guy finally decides to arrive and refunds me the money for food he says he still charging me for delivery. Ermm why would I still pay for delivery when I never got the food i wanted?? Such poor service and to top that up the rude behaviour of the delivery guy. Ive only put the one star rating to write a review. I've ordered food from many places and never had any problem. This is the worst experience I've ever had. Be warned.

It WAS really good don't know what happened. Under new management? Wings are dry with the breading coming off, fries although fresh taste cheap. I asked for a spicy fillet and it come bland. I would hate to think what the original would have tasted like. Fillet was also a little bit on the thinner side. Oh and your meal doesn't come 2 free dips anymore you have to buy seperate. Their dixy sauce again WAS good but its now just salty water. Too thin. They also didn't give me salt for my fries which was another let down. Their prices have increased but their quality has decreased. Cost of living crisis is hitting boss man hard. Slade road dixy is where it is at though

The delivery service has become very poorly (placed a order at 4pm and came at 5.15pm ...they said it will be delivered in 45 minutes (always)but was late within 30 minutes again). Food was cold, meat raw and filled with oil( if anyone want evidence I have photos and a record of the raw and oily meat from Dixy). Instead of 4 chips (what came with a bucket order )they bring 3 portions of chips and cold. This is the third time, never order again from the Kinstanding Dixy Chicken end number 8555... Few months ago food was good and very quickly delivered 25-30 minutes but now they came late and uncooked always with at least 20-30minutes all the time ...When I called them ,they said in 2 minutes it will come but come after more than 20 minutes...AVOID DIXY CHICKEN KINGSTANDING

What can I say been using this place for a few years but today totally put me off ordering from them! I thought there had been a change in management but it appears not so it must be the attitude of the staff! The food was cold never happened before chips were like leftovers! Missing can of pop when I rang they basically called me a liar & said they 100% put it in the bag then said they would get driver to come back I rang back twice no sign of driver when I asked to speak to manager the phone line went dead assuming they put the phone down on me! Well I would not recommend this dixy at all they are so rude my partner answered the door and all he got was abuse from the driver as I live in a tower block and the concierge wasn’t working so he had to come up and he was swearing at my partner was appalling and then I went to the door because I heard the way the driver was and he then started to give me abuse and swearing at me I have just given birth aswell so really could do without the abuse to be fare then I phoned the restaurant up and he hung up on me so phoned back and he wasn’t very polite either I will not be ordering from here again disgusting behavior

The service quality at this branch is appalling and I was very disappointed with my order for several reasons. The half chicken that was advertised as a meal deal did not arrive with fries and subsequently, three fries packets were missing. The drink that was supposed to come with the meal deal burger box did not arrive either. I also ordered a mini burger for my little one and, although promised to be delivered an hour later (after ringing to complain), it was not delivered and as a result, my little one was very upset. I will not be ordering from here again and I wish I could give it 0 stars!!!

I complained about my food being cold and dry, spoke to the chap who answers the phone. He said he sells more than 400 burgers a day and that I'm the only one complaining. I said so the customer is wrong and his reply was ' yes '. Normally the food is nice but because of his reaction I can only rate 1 star. I didnt ask for a refund or wanted anything in return but only to better his company by providing a true and factual feedback but he took it very personal. Businesses who cannot take criticism should not be in business as far as I'm concerned.

I have ordered this dixy and used uber platform. This is second time they sent me wrong order when I called them the guy over the phone lose his temper and start swearing at me and start threatening me. I am going to report his behaviour to police. They have my address and the way he was talking make me very uncomfortable. He said he will smashed my face he has my address. This is very serious threat and I am going to report this to police. Stay away guys. Be careful before you guys order from this kind of restaurants.

The food, I have ordered today was chicken strips boneless bucket for 8. The chicken and chips felt like they was not fresh and warm up. My pop was warm. We don't order takeaway a lot. But we fancied a treat. And I was bitterly disappointed with the food. Didn't taste good at all. If I could give half a star I would.

Normally buy a burger meal from Dixy but after tonight, I don't think I will. I ordered the Mexican Mega Box Meal. Paid £7. There were no nacho's as usual. and the burger was a complete mess. Tomatoes and Jalapenos weren't even fresh. Also to top it off both the chicken within the burger and the drumsticks were pink, so I had to throw away due to risk of food poisoning. Used to be good service and take out food, now going downhill.

Great service, really big menu with a lot of 'specials' so good idea to check out the full menu for the best deals Food was fresh, hot and tasty, staff were very friendly, it is cash only however, there is a cash machine 1 minute away but it does charge for withdrawal so go prepared to avoid the charge Very clean and tidy with seating for about 20 across 5 booths.

i ordered Chicken steak burger meal. The chicken was over-fried and lettuce in burger was soggy. very bland Fries were below average and just about warm. Didn't include any salt and pepper and choice of sauces was under par. Mayonnaise tasted like paint. I am comparing this Dixy to others have tried in Birmingham. They are more expensive then the others, which i wouldn't mind if the food payed the price!

Bought the £6.99 meal box had the runs all night long. The corn on the cob tasted of vinegar. The 0.9mm fillet burger coating was like chewing chicken with pebble dash. The peice of freid chicken was dipped in crude oil. Food was luke warm. The Pepsi was exported from a east European country, The only thing worth eating was the fries. I for one will never buy from here again.

Amazing food, love the chicken wrap and especially the chilli sauce. Keep up the excellent work.

Order from here last week, appalling service, I asked for the zingy burger and I was held at gun point by boss man, he said “no zingy today my friend” and proceeded to pull out a ray gun, luckily I had monkey bombs so I could escape, sadden is all I can say by this service. 0/10 will not be returning anytime soon.

Terrible customer service, charging top price for rubbish food and missing items on top of that. Paid £7 for that awful burger with old lettuce which gave me a stomach ace. Only accepting cash with a cash machine outside which charge you extra money. Scam no card machine defiantly won't be visiting.

Don't usually eat pizza but the manager ask me and my mate to strim some weeds at the rear of the shop, and as well as paying us for the job done he also made us a cheese and tomato pizza with chicken tikka, jalapeño and sweet coin toppings. Can't say anything negative about it it was succulent

More expensive than any dixys branch I have ever been to. Chicken sizzler meal - burger was sloppy and lukewarm, a lot of fries provided however did not taste nice. Also ordered chicken wings - didn’t manage to finish even one. Tasted pure grease, quite sickly. Will not return here.
