Excellent Storage Resource! We recently relocated our son from NY to UT and had to place his stuff, to include his extensive vinyl record collection in a safe, climate controlled environment. “Jo” couldn’t have been more professional, welcoming and accommodating. She arranged for pallets to be placed in his storage unit, held our unit and extra day w/o any charges due to our delay in getting into SLC. Kept in communications with me. This is a great business to work with for storage. Close to the University and accessible.

I stored my things in a good sized storage space for over one year. Then I moved things into an even larger space the next year. Downtown Storage availed to me their awesome moving truck each time I needed to move things. They, and especially Jo, have been generous with their help and advice, friendly, and accommodating to my difficult schedule. Their prices are more than fair and I felt my things were very safe. You can't beat the central location! I would recommend Downtown Self Storage.

I used Downtown Storage for several years and they were fantastic! The staff is friendly and very helpful. We rented 2 units and each time we needed to be in the units, Jo (manager) Patrick and Malory were always kind in getting us what we needed, carts to move things, a light to see in our unit, etc; They even offered a moving truck to use, free of charge! Best of all, the prices were competitive, if not lower than others in town. I highly recommend them!

The staff here has always been very helpful, but it's in such a seedy part of town, you should always let someone know you are headed there and when you expect to return. The units are nothing fancy, I don't think any of them are temp or moisture controlled, but if that doesn't matter, I think they are pretty cheap. They will set you up with your own entrance code. Be respectful of others, especially in the winter tracking snow and mud into the facility.

Good monthly rates for personal storage in a convenient location. Looks a bit sketchy inside, but it's climate controlled and relatively clean. Paying the rent is a little annoying as you have to go to the website and enter your card info each time, and they don't send email reminders, so you've got to be very on top of it. There are wooden moving carts on site for you to use freely; great help when I needed to drop off a bunch of huge boxes.

I foundt the experience at Downtown storage to be professional, courteous and accommodating. One day I was late to the facility and one empliyee remainedt to assist me with my storage needs. I felt that the security and their operational methods allowed me to feel confident that my belingings were safe. I recommend Downtown Storage to anyone requiring storage needs within Salt Lake County.

I rented my storage unit in 1994! Twenty-seven years ago. It is a great place to store your belongings--it is clean and well managed. I especially like Jo. She has been so helpful over the years. I have been using Downtown Storage's services for the past three years and have been extremely satisfied. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The facilities are extremely clean and I've been nothing but happy all around. I use two spaces there and one is for work and one is personal. The location is also super convenient!

Nice Employees, good location,. Facilities are a bit low budget but, nothing bad has happened over the few times I left my items there. Not far from 900S Trax station as well, so its quite convenient. Only problem is the price, since its good location, I can only assume the price to run the place costs a bit more.

The location is great and the employees are always so helpful and friendly. It is a small, local feel and the people remember me by name when I come in. The indoor facility is safe and makes me feel like the items im storing are secure. I would highly recommend this self storage facility.

Love the week day lady. She was always so helpful. While the inside was rows of storage units made of plywood. They have several different price and size units. If you don't have a car it is just a few blocks from Trax and bus stop. this is the only place that would allow me to walk in.

This is a great place to store your valuables. We got a 9x9 unit and it holds all of my daughters apartment plus some extra room for our stuff. It is in an enclosed building and temperature controlled. The staff is very helpful and we even used there box van to move in.

I love this Storage Place everyone is very helpful. The ladies are very nice ,and very respectful. I recommend this place to anyone it’s a good environment and safety is their main priority thank you ladies.

They advertise a free moving truck, but only let you use it to move in. When it’s time to move out they won’t let you use it. Misleading. Edit: 5 stars with the updated policy

Very easy to sign up and get everything moved in. Affordable, too. On top of all that the staff are very friendly and helpful and got me sorted quickly. Worth every penny!
