Food got no stars only cus we didn't eat and I didn't see anyone else eat I really don't know if they serve food? But I do know good service for how packed it got. Also I have to say that the acoustics was awesome I could feel the bass in my stomach and the guitar and the lead singer gave me chills there was no annoying feed back or distortion at all. Now what you hear the video is from my Samsung mind you but over all fun. There is live music some days and karaoke on others there is four pool tables and the only thing I'm gonna complain about is the bathroom situation only one boy and one girl and some times there was a line so me and my boyfriend were like screw this we are going together in which ever one opens up first. lol. Smoking area outside you can vape inside. Over all I would say this is a small big crowd well it's not huge and a lot of people know each other there. But it's a good crowd and it's the kinda place where you wanna have some fun but not a crazy night like still be in bed by 10pm type of thing. Oh and as you can tell by my outfit it's chill there is no need to dress up it's not that type of crowd

We took our young military friend out for her 21st birthday. It was a delightful evening with a nice dinner and drinks. On the way home we suggested to take her to our local "bar" for another fun first experience for her. We ordered drinks and rightfully so, the bartender asked her for her ID. She handed over her MILITARY ID since she severs our Nation in the US Navy. The Bartender handed the ID back and said she couldn't accept it because it was a "vertical" ID. Our friend explained that ALL chipped Military IDs are vertical. Without verifying this info, the bartender refused service and we had to leave. My wife and I wouldn't call ourselves frequent customers, but when we go to a "Bar" we enjoy Dragon horn and love the Prowlers. Sadly, I think we may find another location going forward. We left embarrassed feeling like we did something wrong or that the bartender thought we'd brake the law by drinking with someone underage. Common sense and maybe a 20 second search would have eliminated the issue.

So we walked in, the scenery is nice and were greeted by regular customers, an the band that had just played. which was nice but the bar tender made eye contact and turned away. We were at the bar for 10 min waiting for her to come greet us. She talked to other customers and looked at us a couple different times and we even walked around to the other side to were we were in more direct sight of the bartender. A group of older (50yr +) women came in and stood at the bar not even 2 min and the bartender made room for them at the bar and greeted them and took a drink order. Just completely skipped up and so we walked out. This bar definitely shows favorites to repeat customers and to the older generation even tho we are in our late 20s. Maybe she thought since we were one of the youngest couples there that we would tip as well or something. Or that maybe this bar is just for people 40 an up. But we walked out and will not be coming back.

Place looks closed, sign out front is not lit up. Both doors at front have no indication it is an entrance. Walk in and the staff seemed friendly enough, said they would be right with us. Sat for about five minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink. There was about 15-20 people total in the bar. Apparently if you're a regular you are priority. First time we've been here. Bartender would ask if we needed something, would tell her what we needed...she would walk away and take other people's orders, start a conversation, go about her duties and completely forgot about us, two different times. I had two drinks and he had three. We were sitting at the bar in plain sight. We would have stayed but the service was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Used to be a 5 Until coworkers & I were warming up it becoming our hang out. Then the latest bartender spread rumor that we never tipped. WE all tipped on our own tabs & made sure to keep it professional but fun. Discrimination before understanding is the response we got. Before we made up our mind about this being an absolute great possible hang out, we were pretty much rumored against. So we will not be returning. The bartender Chessa will be missed by all of us though. Thanks for the Blue Lagoon & Scooby Snacks! (at least you knew how to keep it interesting & knew drinks that the public would love). We hope you have better business than what we tried to establish. In short, find a better hang out for your friends, family, coworkers etc. that won't turn its back on you

Was taken here by a friend who is a regular of the bar... had a BLAST! Went right before happy hour and stayed for 4ish hours. Bar staff was not only on top of their game but also nice to look at - all female! one thing I thought was really cool is they let u “save” drinks for next time you visit. They give u plastic cups that u out ur name on and they keep behind the bar for next time. I was told there’s some pretty good live bands that play on Friday nights... I def want to check that out. It’s more of a dive bar/hole in the wall - which I totally prefer over the dressed up, nose up type places. There were four pool tables for those that play billiards. Also you can throw some darts if that’s your game!! All in all I think I walked out spending $20 or less and had a fabulous time.

Definitely a dive bar. The kareoke here is amazing. They have live music on weekends. They have dart boards and pool tables. And the people singing are skilled, and fun to be around. People here are regulars. The bar tender(s) is absolutely awesome and friendly. Service is good, but because they only have one bar tender sometimes you wil have to go to the bar. They will allow you to bring food and snacks from the grocery next door and the near by restaurants. Bathrooms could use some sprucing every now and then.

  • Savvy Smart

As far as "dive bars" go, this one has got it down perfectly! Nothing fancy, and as far as the location: you might blink and miss it! There is live music on most Fridays, karaoke every Saturday, pool tables, dart boards, friendly staff, a really large oval shaped bar as well as some table seating, and affordable drinks! I hear there are a few food choices, though the focus is definitely on beverages, games, and music. Weekends it can get pretty packed, but the atmosphere is always friendly and jovial.

I'm tempted to rate this place 1 star because it is a hidden gem and I dont want too many people to know about it. But the staff are too nice, I cant do that. This place has excellent karaoke, very nice little pool tables, and a great bar and staff. It has a low-lit atmosphere, chill, and incredibly clean as well. Working people and bikers type of bar. But in an old country kind of way. Perfect for the next Quentin Tarantino or Johnny Cash film revisit.

  • Rachel C

This is a DIVE. But honestly, I kinda dig it. Just don't expect anything different or amazing from it except exactly what a dive bar offers: dingy atmosphere, pool tables, not the cleanest amenities, older patrons, classic and oldies rock, and (in my opinion anyway) good, cheap drinks. Their beer selection is okay -- I wish they'd clean the tap lines more often -- I usually go when I prefer a Nuts 'n Berries, which the bartender makes SUPERBLY!

  • Ry Jo

at first it was great. nice place, good people, great service ,but now apparently the pool league can just walk in a steal the table we were playing at. we were midgame and the league treated us very poorly. the bartender pretty much just told us we were SOL, this place has lost my business, I will never go back. so be warned this place will discriminate against you if you are not in the pool league. a report will be filed with the BBB

  • Chemel Compean

Wonderful place to have fun, Friday's night live music, dancing, three pool tables, patrons of all ages gather at this place, friendly environment and my favorite comment is about bartender Cindy she is very friendly, down to earth and her best quality is being honest, she is not the typical "Fake smile working hard for a tip" nope, she is genuine, she is the best. But if you want to have fun and a good time this is the place to go.

  • Mike Frese

It's a bar. With live rock music! Can't find that in the City by the Bay anymore -- we looked on the night after our 50th anniversary. They may have Built That City on Rock and Roll, but the foundation collapsed. No rock bars there anymore. But there's Rock at DHT. Look for Jeff Donohoe and OCDC. Drink prices are right. Dance floor is small... and crowded! And pool tables. Drinks prices are modest. There's a lot to love at DHT!

  • Brian Miller

I have no idea what this place is. I was never there. Unfortunately, this app doesn't show a date nite time frame that coincides with my supposed attendance so I can't say where it was. I've made several suggestions to Google about this little 'issue' but, since they're 'too big' to read the comments they ask for, nothing comes of them. So this 1 star posting is more a reflection of their inaction than anything else.

  • Michelle Stance

A friend of mine went in there last night to shoot some pool and have a couple of drinks soon as she walked in the door there was a lot of racial stuff going on as soon as the person seen her they said oh I see the black people has found us my friend was very hurt and very emotional because of that situation this is very unacceptable how could you guys let something like that go on in your establishment

  • John Sabaku

During the day, it’s ok. Weekends and nights, the Dragonhorn gets filled with odd characters. Don’t step out back where people smoke, all sorts of shady things go on back there. Beer and liquor choices are limited. Good luck. Getting a pool table when leagues play. You’ll find more friendly places with cheaper drinks all around. Give this one a pass.

  • Ken Trujillo

Love this bar. I'm a regular at Karaoke on Sat nights. Everytime I go it's a different crowd, but unlike bars on my side of town (westside) there's never any drama. Awsome bar tender (Cindy) and waitstaff. Karaoke DJ (Christina) always makes sure you have a good time. If you want fancy, move along, but if you want friendly and fun this is the place.

  • Adam Ruiz

These are real Bartenders, a real drinking spot, with real music, and cool old school people. Pool, food, fast service, and Bartenders that mix real spirits. If yiu want a place to take you woman to dance this is your place. Chessa could be the hardest working Bartender in town. Bar / Lounge / Pool / drinks / Dance / Local Music / Dive / Food

  • Aaron Kraft

This place is the most hole in the wall bar ever!!! You need to wait a minute when you walk inside to adjust to just how dark it is inside. The beer is cheap and cold. I think this place runs on beer and cigarettes. People take shifts going outside to smoke and then come back for more beer. This place is great. It is Albuquerque's Cheers.

  • Toni McGovern

I love that bar have alot of great people that I have met and love! Best bartender's there Cindy probably spelling that wrong, Vonda the most funny person I know! And Cindy Lou the kindest person ever!!! Spend alot of $$$ in there cause we love it Have a issues with one of the bartender's so we just stay away when she's there …

  • Erin Pike

This is a hidden gem of Albuquerque dive bars! The bartender Chessa is amazing, the perfect combination of competent and sassy that I love in a bartender! I assume most people don't even know it's here (the only reason I found it is because I shop at the Albertsons that is literally next door). I highly recommend this place! …

  • Gina Ortiz

If you're with fun people you'll have fun. The place itself does not provide much else but alcohol and pool tables. A juke box for music is the entertainment and no food of any kind. I hope Dragon Horn steps it up a few notches.. it used to be a real fun place to go. Live music, great ambience, fun! Now, not so much …

  • NAGB

Always over serve!!!!!! They don't care how u get home. Bs laws and training certificate just care about make $$$$$$$ Many time I been there and I see a lot people they can't even talk the how drunk they are, I told owner and bartenders too , i hope when happen same like bill's bar. This post use like reference!!!!!!!!

  • Andrew Lowe

I like coming here during the afternoon because it's dark as a old style dive bar should be and there's a 50/50 chance "piano man" will be playing on the jukebox but most of all it's pretty much assured that I'll be the only patron at the bar who wasn't alive when JFK was assassinated.

  • Marilyn Haldane

I have been here twice and both times were very different. The first time there was a band playing and we danced, then played pool. The second time it was quiet and perfect for conversation. I find this to be a very friendly neighborhood bar. The bartender was attentive and helpful.

Music nights are fun. Unfortunately, the bar tenders are not consistent in their pour, so the mixed drinks are hit and miss. I don't understand why there is no fountain for drinks. Cans are not good.

Great place to Karaoke. They have a special type called Kamikaze Karaoke where you can make your friends sing songs that they may or may not know. Either way they gotta sing it. The employees are all nice and everyone I know who goes has a great time.

Not fancy just plain ‘ole good homey feel. They have good bands on weekends. Very nice waitress. Love her laid back approach. Reasonable prices on beer. They don’t have wine glasses. So if you order wine it is served in a high ball glass. Or?

  • Tera Price

Dragon Horn has great entertainment! They always have the best live bands. The atmosphere is horrible! Needs a makeover really really bad! I would go there more often if it was nice inside. It's like a true Dive Bar. Wish they served food!

  • JEFF MCNEESE

For a dive bar it's just what you expect. There are pool tables to shoot on, there are darts to toss, there are TVs to watch and mirrors on the wall. I wish the TVs were a little larger but they don't have the ceiling space. I think that

  • Pat Freeman

First time here. Liked the atmosphere, dark but not too dark. The bartender, Donna, made our experience!! She was friendly, attentive and personable. Considering their obstacles with covid the evening was very enjoyable. We'll be back.

  • Smoove BB

Seems like a fine place, but a guy tried to start a fist-fight with me when I went up to use an empty pool table. I love karaoke, but this also seems like a good place to get stabbed by a furious, dirty, hairy, stinky pool player.

  • Valeria De Lira Richards

Great drinks and nice atmosphere with a good variety of different people. They had pool tables and Saturday night karaoke. The bar tenders are all super friendly even with how busy they were. We had an awesome time here!

  • Maui God

The racism in this bar is real. Grant it the staff was nice, but they didn't remove the problem..just apologized. If you black DO NOT go to this bar!!!! Took everything in me not to flip out or I would be the problem.

  • Rachel (Rcofsd)

Bartender was amazing super helpful and friendly to out-of-towners also met some locals who took us to the 4th of July barbecue Stephanie a place I'll visit when I come back

Jukebox is overpriced but besides that the pool tables are numerous and the staff are absolute sweethearts. In my opinion this is the definition of a good dive bar, if you're in the area it's worth checking out

  • Samantha Williams

This was our first time ever going to this bar, it was a lot of fun. There is pool, darts, and karaoke! We did darts and karaoke and had a lot of fun. I hope that they continue doing karaoke on Saturdays.

Absolutely love the place but can't find any calendar posted for the Friday night band schedule. Can't see driving all the way there from northwest Rio Rancho if I don't know who is playing.

  • Ingrid Hamblin

Fun and enjoyable place. We were well taken care of while we were here. Our bar tender had an amazing personality. Willing to have fun and laugh with everyone. She knew how to run the place.

  • Aaron Hydro

This place is great! Donna made me a repeat customer! The only downside however, they close at midnight during the week. Google has it incorrect. Pay them a visit. You won't be sorry.

  • Linda Joyce

Love this place! The last Friday of every month one of my favorite blues bands, Memphis P-Tails rock the joint! Great margaritas, waitstaff and less than .5 miles from my house!

The smell in here is really rough, but don't worry, you'll get used to the stench enough to sing 1 song at karaoke. It's a one and done for me though.
