I had the pleasure of working with the Dutch Real Estate Company, specifically Edward, over the past few months to find myself an apartment in Amsterdam. I started this search before I moved to this country and was unsure how the process would pan out. Let me just say I would 100% recommend Edward to help you find your perfect new home! From the start, Edward listened to everything I was looking for in a place and went above and beyond to inform me on listings, show me live viewings & answer all of my expat related questions (most of them having nothing to do with real estate, yet he still took the time to call me right away to share his insights). If any viewings were not a good time for me because I was a 6 hour time difference away, he would send detailed videos to me to watch on my own time. So detailed that I felt like I was viewing each place in person as I really enjoyed his tours and personal commentaries. Finding an apartment can be stressful, but because of Edward I extremely enjoyed this experience and found an incredible home! He was patient, kind, and an all-around expert in the field. Finding a rental that matches your budget/needs as an Expat even with support is difficult. Trying to do it yourself is probably next to impossible. Here's where Dutch Real Estate Company comes in and in particular the fantastic agent assigned to us, Edward to make this scary and tiresome process surprisingly easy! From Day 1, Edward will give you all the facts and information you need to set the right expectations of the real estate market. He then goes above and beyond to ensure your requirements are met from location to amenities and even video viewings if you haven't yet arrived. He also handled all the communication with the owner/representatives (full transparency on the process), translated dutch only documents to us and even gave us advice on what to look out for (usually you find out the hard way!). Even after we locked in our rental, he even provided support on where to get utilities hooked up, where to shop for large electronics and other quirks. All in all, relocating is hard work - let Edward and the team at Dutch Real Estate Company take the house hunt out of your to-do list :)

I was able to find, do multiple viewings, and finally rent an apartment in Amsterdam, before even I landed in the city - all done from a different country. Everything was handled professionally, from recommendations, to signing the paperwork. It was an absolute delight working with Dutch Real Estate Company. Awesome experience working with Indra. She really understood what we needed and guided us through the whole process of finding and buying the house. Indra visited so many houses with us and that's for fixed price service! We got an advice on bidding price and actual value for every house we liked. I was really disappointed with this agency. The agent who called me back (Edward) was very rude and condescending. He said right away he was expecting to talk to my husband instead of me. He also said it would almost impossible to find a place with my budget and he would call me back. NEVER heard from him again. I found a place one week later with the budget I said to him.
