Disappointing Experience with Veterinary Care I recently had a challenging experience and felt compelled to share my concerns. My cat underwent delivery, and despite expressing ongoing distress, I was assured by the vet that everything was fine as she continued to feed her kittens. I stated that there was movements and she is pushing also in pain. He repeated that if she is feeding her kittens then nothing is left inside. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and I found myself in a panic the next day when I tried to wipe my cats bottom and then saw a paw sticking out. Tried so many times to contact the vet buy it went to voice message. In desperation, I sought emergency assistance elsewhere, resulting in a cesarean section that revealed additional kittens stuck due to complications. What compounded the issue for me was the lack of communication from the vet's office during this critical time. I left a message in tears, seeking guidance, and received no response. Even after three days post-surgery, I had not heard anything. While I understand technical issues can happen, the lack of communication, especially during emergencies, is concerning. I appreciate the vet's subsequent apology, but I'm currently exploring alternative veterinary options due to this experience. The well-being of my pets is my top priority, and I believe effective communication is fundamental in veterinary care.

Our rescue cat did not seem very happy, started drooling and leaving his tongue out. Went along to Eden park and was told by the vet his front tooth is broken so needs to remove the tooth and the root he also has a couple of cavities. Booked him in, picked him up in the afternoon, still a bit drowsy. So four teeth removed, I was given pain killer and antibiotics to give to my cat over the next few days and also given the bill. I was expecting to remortgage the house but the cost was very, very, reasonable for what had been done. Cat is definitely a lot happier and back to vets in a few days for a once over. Thank you to the vets and the ladies who looked after my cat

Over the course of many years we took our cats here to be treated, always had great availability for emergency’s and whenever you would call the lovely ladies on reception give some great advice while you wait for your appointment etc. the whole team are so lovely welcoming & friendly. We recently had to say goodbye to one of our cats and the team were just amazing In making us feel relaxed and comfort we were doing the right thing. The lovely receptionist even asked the delivery man outside could he be as quiet as he can because our elderly cat was just inside the door waiting for her appointment. So affordable will definitely bring all pets here ! Thanks team x

Fantastic vets. I went with a hamster who was very poorly but also quite old and they still took the time to squeeze him in their busy day and both the vet and assistant gave some fantastic advise and attention to the problem. They really do care about all creatures great and in our case small. The hamster wasnt stressed afterwards and is now on a course of antibiotics, which was very fairly priced and is doing really well. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again if we needed to. Please support this fantastic business An update: A week later our Hamster has made a great recovery. So happy. Thank you

We have been using the vet at Eden Park for many years and have always found them to be empathetic caring for our first cat until the end and now for our second cat. I concur with the other comments. The vet is friendly and down to earth. Costs are fair and we have never been encouraged to buy extras. I am delighted to recommend their services.

Desmond is the best vet we have ever been to, he is kind, caring and takes great care of the animals. I have seen other vets, where they are more uncaring and it just seems like a job to them, but with Desmond, each pet feels very personal and I would never want my pet to see any other vet other than Desmond he is great 5*****

Our dog was very old and we knew she had to be put to sleep.. .Desmond was so sympathetic and kind.. Very professional.. Also our Guinea pig died on the way to vets and he even tried to revive him but no no avail... I totally recommend Eden Park. .All my friends and family use him..never a negative word said about them.

All the staff here are amazing. Very kind compassionate and caring. I've been taking my pets there for the last 12 years and would never go anywhere else. I trust everything I'm told and any advice Im given. When I've left my pets there for minor ops I feel they are in very safe hands and are well cared for.

Eden Park vets will always get 5* from me and my 4 cats The receptionist/ assistant working today sat 10th oct was and always is excellent was a lot of compasion for the animals. We've been going for years. The vet is very down to earth and will only give you what you need for your pet rather than upsell other stuff. There is only parking for a couple of vehicles by the door but there is street parking not far away that you can use. Its appointment only now which works well.

I can’t recommend Des and his team enough. He has looked after our kittens for the last year including our poorly boy when we were holiday when he had a UTI. He was wonderful with him and cared for him so well - Chester is terrified of going to the vets. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

When it comes to my dog I am very particular about who to trust. Eden Park Vets are great. They can always see you on a short notice, they remind you about jabs, quick to arrange pets passport. Their vet is this brilliant doctor with a calming energy and a depth of knowledge.

I took my dog there on Monday morning as she wasn’t well and they just said she had heat Stoke but I know it was something more serious I took her back for the vet to look at her again but they wouldn’t that night she passed away

I had my cat at Eden Park Vet for 12 years, and although she was crazy the vet was incredibly patient, kind and professional with her. I now have my dog at Eden park and I am again very pleased with the care she gets there.

I have been with the practice for over 14 years. Desmond as treated my 2 Dalmatians for the past 8 years. Always receive an excellent service. I find the practice extremely organised. I have only got positive experiences.

Went to get a rabies booster for my greyhound. I've used this vet for the past 3 years and I'm very happy with the service and customer care. It's very popular and always busy which is to be ecpected.

Is very untidy and could do with a refurbishment. Reception was poorly administered and they had no record of our appointment on one of three occasions. Dogs operation went well with no complications.

Friendly service, better value than other popular vets in the area. Parking can be challenging unless you use the pay and display car park at the station opposite, but bus and rail access is great.

Great friendly vets good at handling my dog, always gentle and kind. Can't fault them. The advice over the phone is also really helpful and I felt they gave me plenty of time and attention.

My dog went for a operation to amputate his leg, Desmond is a very skilled surgeon and quickly diagnosed my dogs condition without expensive tests. All his team are kind and caring.
