OUR EXPERIENCE: It was fun, but the party host did very little other than deliver food. After 1 hour, she turned the room activities on. Never having been there, we didn't know to ask. The kids could have been playing games while we waited to eat. Other than that, the main area was a lot of fun. All the kids had a great time, but I feel like they would have had more fun skipping the party room, but only because they didn't turn on the features. We will go back. Some of the games work better with more people. THINGS TO KNOW: Party rooms: The party room is interactive. The tables the walls are interactive. If it isn't, ask your host to turn it on. You get the room for 1.5 hours and then can go to the main area for another hour or so. Main Play Space: This place is fun for kids of any age, but be aware it is a huge place with many rooms and dimly lit. As a result, it can be difficult to keep track of multiple children. Keep that in mind and determine if your group can manage. We gave our kids a partner rule. Also, outside the party room, everything is shared with other parties and general patrons. Every room is different and will likely evolve to have different functions during your time there. Lights on the floor and walls are interactive. There are races to step on lights, follow trails, keep up with lights, and some move or disappear when you interact with them. Great way to get the family moving. For adults that prefer to take it easy they can hang out at the bar.

A very interesting form of entertainment here I must say. So you enter a brightly lit room to pay for entry….and then you go into a tunnel of neon lights and immediately are submerged into a neon maze of fun! There are several different activities to enjoy along with a drink station and bar. My son and I went and paid $18 a ticket for a pass for a few hours. Some of the games where really fun and interactive well others where kind of meh. The dodgeball space invader game and the larger than life breakout game where are favorites. The only downsides are it does get crowded and kind of smelly…I mean there’s lots of kids running around sweating also there isn’t that much to do considering majority of the main events get completed fairly quickly. We where kind of over it after an hour due to all the screaming kids but the initial wow factor is great. We decided to hit the snack bar and I was hoping for an adult beverage but no one would help us. The staff was in the kitchen dancing and the bartender only seemed interested in helping a certain group of people at the bar. So we left, I don’t think we will go back but it’s definitely something everyone should go try once

Terrible place to throw a birthday! Way overpriced. The package says $300, but with all their taxes and fees it came to $411. We took the time to visit in advance and discussed our theme and that although his birthday is in the holiday season we didn't want anything christmas. We arrived to Christmas music playing in our room and a winter theme on the walls instead of the theme we had requested. We had asked about bringing cupcakes and were told it wouldn't be a problem. We needed to do homemade because we have food allergies. We were told that would be fine, due to the allergies. When we arrived they said only store bought goods were allowed. Ended up serving the cupcakes in the parking lot. Staff was not helpful and food was mediocre. Save money and do Main Event. This place is a total ripoff.

"Electric Playhouse" The name sounds like it describes what's inside, but it becomes confusing the more you ponder it; "Do we watch plays?", "Do we play with electric houses!?" In reality, this is a large, mostly open space with projectors mounted to the ceiling. Technology is used to track the player's movement so that they can interact with games, competitions and so forth. If you are going with friends, you should expect a high level of activity, wear cooler clothing than you might expect. If you're the competitive sort, expect to be panting as you compete against others. This is a great fun place to see what exactly folks can do with a bit of technology. It's a wonderful way to get your cardio in and see what creative people can do with motion control games.

We went for the Drag Brunch this past Sunday & this was the perfect place to have it. We didn't get the brunch but it looked like there was a variety of food available for everyone. Bartenders & staff were very friendly & professional. Looking at the website it looks as though there are lots of fun activities. Will definitely be returning for any events that interest us. Once again, we went to the Drag Brunch this past Sunday 1/7/24 & it was phenomenal!! Amazing performances, the energy was great & the food was top notch! So glad these wonderful people get a place to showcase their talents & bring joy to so many who support them. I look forward to coming back for the next Drag Brunch!

We attended the drag brunch at electric playhouse. The show was AMAZING. The host was hilarious and the cast were incredible. We purchased a VIP table. Was disappointed to learn with the price difference we didn’t get anything extra but a better view. The extra $20 a head (6 seat min) I think would have been better put towards drink tickets ect. Especially since half of us couldn’t eat from the buffet d/t personal dietary restrictions. A GA ticket has an option for no brunch but the VIP table didn’t. Overall great show, not sure if the table is worth the price though. Thanks for supporting queer artists Electric!

Cool but not worth going again. The place was cool to experience once but not worth the money to go again. Family of 6, spent $120 with tax and online fee. We went through it in 30 minutes. I think they should either add more activities or lower the price. My kids ages 13, 14, 18 thought it was OK. My 10 liked it a little more. I think each parent accompanied by a paying child should get in free because it's more for the little kids to play and the parents just walking through with them.

There are not a lot of instructions on how to play. There could also be more things to do. This was our first time at this kind of venue. I think there's better stuff to do out there. Seems like another attraction that looks fun but falls short. The staff should give some kind of instructions when you enter. Maybe ask if you've been there before. You pay in advance so they have your money. Why bother trying to make sure you had fun. Will not be back!!!

GM told us she could serve us drinks and the front bar which was fine we didn’t mind at all we went back to what we were doing and an employee CAME TO US ! and said I can serve you and we said okay a little later the GM came back to us very rudely said you asked another person after she a had already told us no which was not true she didn’t let us explain just dismissed us and watched us the whole time. Our first time here was not a great time.

First time here and have to say now in my top 5 places to play at in Albuquerque!! What a blast! Spent about 4 hours here they serve alcoholic drinks, which were fantastic, and non alcoholic along with a decent menu. The games are all interactive and change to different ones as the time passes so always something new to check out! Bring your sneakers you will be doing lots of jumping, running and dodging♡ great for any age!

Terrific idea, but still has a long way to go. So many possibilities!!! Needs music or sound track. Needs More playful interaction. (Think keep away or whack a mole). Trivia needs to be integrated with much more questions). ALL walls should have designs projected. Good experience but can be so much more! Food was good, could be even better. Highly recommend the Cocktail pairings!! Very much looking for the next generation.

I had a blast! I wanted to attend drag brunch for my birthday and Im so glad I picked this show! The team at electric playhouse was so accommodating when my dad surprised me that weekend and came in town. They added a seat to my table for him so i got to celebrate with my whole family. Im so grateful for this experience. All the queens were amazing and Vanessa Patricks is such a talented host! I will def be coming back!

This was the best thing I have done in a long time. We had so much fun! My two year old could do almost every game too. They have a ton of variety of games, in each room. The colors were amazing and despite the sensory experience being intense it didn’t feel overwhelming. We got there when it first opened and we had the place to ourselves on a Saturday morning. Such a unique cool experience!

We were looking for something to do as a family and I found Electric Playhouse. We booked for 10am and it was super convenient. I would suggest book online. My daughter was so excited and my whole family, myself included had an amazing time. My daughter wants to come back for her bday. We will see. Thank you to the staff for being amazing and helpful.

Our first experience was Lea Anderson's art event. It was phenomenal, my anti-art show teens even had a great time and were really into it. I can't speak of the venues other uses but I would love to see more art here, the interaction adds a wonderful extra creative layer that I would love to see more of.

Had an amazing time here attending a show. Security was good everything went fast getting our ids checked and tickets scanned. Inside it was a joy to see so much color and how many rooms were interactive and immersive. My favorite part was the dance floor that made colors when you stepped on it.

  • Randy

Holy s*** there should be one of these everywhere! I drove 4 hours to come do this and I will do it again! Never had so much fun combining electronics and exercise! Hell we didn't even know it was exercise until we were done and exhausted! Will definitely be back and will tell everyone!

I went on a date and did the Drag Queen Brunch . It included a fabulous show and meal! We had a blast! It was interactive and the food was good! You cannot not go wrong with going to experience the shows here at the Electric Playhouse!!! I’m looking forward to my next experience there!!

  • David Cox

Just had my daughter's 9th birthday at Electric Playhouse and it was a hit! The kids loved the party room and all the games, while the adults loved being able to play while enjoying some beverages. I would highly recommend it to anyone that has a birthday coming up for their young ones.

  • A. Green

Super fun, but I’d look up the games before you go. Not a ton of instructions, but fairly easy to figure out. Our 3 year old made it about an hour, then crashed. It was an hour straight of running though! We’ll be back when the kiddo has a little bit better attention span.

  • Gaby Galaviz

Best $15 for 2 hours I have spent. You would suppose it's not enough time but with all the activities available and the physical activity, it's more than enough. Restaurant and bar available inside, all delicious and well priced. Definitely will be returning.

  • Carlos Martinez

As an adult, I think I had more fun that my 2 young daughters. I initially though it was just lights to see but there are so many games to play and they keep changing. You can take a break and head to the food and grab a bite or a drink. It was very fun.

  • Tessa Jones

Hosting yoga classes here with Traverses yoga Thursday-Sunday starting at 8:20 am. The staff is super helpful and kind. The immersive experience is like non other. I recommend this place for a fun date night or an place to let your kiddos explore

I was so grateful for the opportunity to visit the Electric Playhouse- what a BLAST! My family enjoyed the space during the day, though it's on our list to come back, hopefully, to experience some of the other options available (dinner for

Quality for the price is. 3/5 star. Recently had the pleasure of visiting the Electric Playhouse for their grand opening and attended the interactive dinner. It was a 5 course, $55 dinner or $75 with wine pairing experience. I got the wine

Only went here for a concert, will never be returning for a regular admission or for a concert. Is your security trying to protect us by searching for weapons, or do they think they are the police looking for drugs doing a full search of

The hours flew by in this mesmerizing, interactive light playhouse. It was easy and engaging interacting with other visitors in the various multiplayer games. Extra stars for dodgeball alien invaders. Oh and of course my son loved it too.

  • Tyler Simpson

Not sure what I was expecting but it was definitely a fun experience. The games were fun for both adults and kids alike. We also ordered a pizza that was very good. Definitely recommend going here if your looking for something fun to do!

  • Ian Strascina

Very cool concept!! Lots of fun for the family. For some of the games, you really need to be in shape to play! The only thing that bothered me was that most of the games didn't have designated lines to wait in; people would just stand

  • April Cordova

It's was the best birthday for my son ever. Very reasonable price for what I got. An our host was amazing thank you guys for letting me make memories for my son on his special day and memories that will last forever …

  • Kel Millionie

This place is super-cool for all ages. A hyper-immersive art-based visual experience rooted in game-play, interactive projections, and sound. They have a bar (nice drinks) and food offerings (didn't order food on this visit).

  • Jessica Harris

Really a fun space. The games change on rotation when you are there. They are interactive which makes it fun for all ages. There is a bar. One in the play space and one in the lobby. I suggest buying tickets ahead of time.

  • C Phelps

Fun time for the whole family! This was my second interactive dinner, and the food did not disappoint. We got a little hot and sweaty playing games, but it was a lot of fun and very un-crowded for a Friday night.

  • Jeremiah Bergkvist

Nice place for people who like bright lights, loud environments, and energetic children. Has private party rooms with interactive tables, a bar for the adults, and lots of interactive Kinect-based games.

  • Leanne Maldonado

Drag Brunch on Sunday was fabulous. The performers, Hostess and DJ put on an amazing show. Only critique is the manager is lacking interpersonal and customer service skills. Otherwise great show!!

  • Caleb Ferganchick

What an incredibly unique venue for drag brunch. I was so impressed with the level of production and professionalism and it's great to know E.P. supports art in all it's diverse beauty.

  • Aquila Craig

This place is amazing!! We had such a great time! Perfect for the whole family to get active and play! We're from out of town but this is a good reason to come back soon!

  • Debbie Reynolds

This is a fun and physical experience. I took 2 teenaged nephews and they had a blast. The games require movement and exertion so it was a good workout for them.

  • Foodie Albuquerque

It was very fun for my children! They had so much fun! I love that its so interactive. Very fun. Need to add a few more games! Loved the GIF photo booth!

  • Greg “Pretz” Hyzy

Wanna have fun and break a sweat? This is the place to be. If you're a drinker of gin, I recommend the blooming elderflower.
