I hate doing this because the staff was wonderful. However, everyone needs to be aware that the practices of the company put me thousands of dollars in debt, and, unfortunately, I was working with this location. I was in a car accident and when I rented the car, I opted for the extra insurance coverage ,which I paid out of pocket. My car took way longer to fix and the enterprise location called to ask if I wanted to extend my rental. I needed the car and was told the rental would be the rate the insurance company paid ($22ish/day) out of pocket. I took extra shifts at work and was prepared to cover the cost of the rental. THERE WAS NO MENTION ON THE PHONE CALL ABOUT CONTINUING THE ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. I didn't find out that the additional coverage until I returned the car. The additional coverage was as much as the car rental itself and my bill was thousands of dollars more than I anticipated. The manager was out of town for the holidays, but when we spoke he was helpful. But couldn't do more, and he suggested I speak to his boss. I reached out to this boss but never heard back. I called the billing department and was told I'd be called back. Again, never heard back. I disputed the claim with my bank, but enterprise simply shrugged and placed the blame back on me. I was never trying to dispute the cost of the rental, I had prepared for that. But the practice of extending insurance coverage has had a severe impact on my financial situation. I work in public education and am a student. Thousands of dollars for extended insurance coverage is barely a drop in the bucket for this company, but it has had a devastating impact on me and my family. Please be careful!!!!

So i reserved my vehicle and a pick up from the downtown location in Nashville, TN. Which is literally 5 min away. I was only keeping the car for a few days and would need to also be dropped off at a family members home when I returned the car, which was a 15 minute drive from their location. They knew that and were ok with this. I called to verify everything the day before and the day of my pickup date. Everything was set to go. I was told to call when I was 30 minutes away which i did. I was left standing outside for over an hour for them to pick me up!! When i finally got to the place they tell me even though im using a credit card i still had to pay a deposit of $150!! I wasn't happy about that. What if i didnt have an extra 150 plus the car rental of 200!! Ridiculous!! Then I get the vehicle and ot was on EMPTY!! Who does that?! I was told I could bring it back on empty. Now i'm pissed and goping I can make it to the cl9sest gas station. Thank God for GPS because I am not familiar with the city. Upon returning the car I was told they couldnt tale me to my drop off spot because it was more than 3 miles away from the office!! Even though I verified this and the drop off address before hand. I ended up having to catch a cab. Which thank God I had enogh money to pay for that considering i had 150 on hold. I was EXTREMELY unhappy with this branch. I have been rwnting vehicles from enterprise for a while and NEVER have I had such a horrible experience. I definitely wont be going back to them when i go back to Nashville.

I had the unfortunate of Southwest Airlines experience this past December. At the time I was the mother of two young boys (2 and 3 months old) and we had been waiting all year to get down to AL and see my parents and we’re unbelievably excited as I am so big on family. I was unaware of the Southwest issues until 2 days prior and then I prayed and said let’s get there come hell or high water. I reached out to this Enterprise location 3am when I was notified that my connecting flight was canceled and there were no flights for a week (way to go Southwest). I have to say, the manager/ owner, and the entire team was so kind and said they would do what they could, showing immense empathy that I had two very young kids, to get us a solution. They can through… this review is long overdue but I wish I could give everyone here a giant hug for what they did for my family and I. I left home at the age of 18 went to the military academy, served in the Army, did a tour, and ever since have not had the pleasure of living near my immediate family and this team made that rare occasion happen. I couldn’t be more grateful and I couldn’t say enough positive things about this team and their leader. From a very thankful mother.. I am forever in your guys debit. Hallie

I rented the car on line however when I arrived in Nashville, I had a friend drop my husband and I off at thw rental location. Once there, we were told they did not have any and reserving online usually does not match what they have. After waiting for quite a while, they found us a vehicle (costing more than my reservation ) at another location (which was gdtting ready to close). Since we were dropped off, we had no transportation to get there so now, we are scrambling to find a ride (Enterprise did not offer to take us). Finally one of the gentlemen behind the counter said he knew we were not going to make it to the other location before they closed and somehow, he came up with this little Hyunda. Since it was our only option, we took it. It was dirty on the inside and stinked. With the exception of work (they make the reservations ), this is the first and last time, I will use Enterprise. As much as my family and I travel, we certainly will not be recommendin them to anyone. The 2 stars are only for the gentleman that tried to help us.

Everyone in Nashville was having a tough time moving around the city on April 27th due to the highway being shut down, the hockey game and tons of folks coming to the city for the marathon. Anyway, I spoke to Caroline Mosley over the phone to ask for a ride from my hotel a couple miles away and she told me all her drivers were stuck on the road. She gave me all the other options for me to get to the Enterprise locat ions. I arrived at Enterprise and found many people complaining about everything. At the time I arrived, Caroline was one of only two workers I could see up front and they both had to handle a lot of very angry customers. I ex plained how I needed to get a car and out of town ASAP. Caroline's customer service skills were as good as I've ever seen. In spite of the noise and negativity around her, she handled everything perfectly and kept a positive attitude. She had me on my way quickly. Andrea was also helpful by taking time to give me an alternate route out of town.

They really and truly need to figure out how to provide proper customer service. When I reserved my car I reserved for a luxury car weeks in advance. The day before they had downgraded me to a SUV I have an SUV and could have driven my own car. But I reserved for a Cadillac or equal to that. I asked again if they could do better and they said they would see but I was pretty much going to get "whatever ". I live 1 block from them and they showed up one hour late for my pickup which caused all the meetings I had to go to too fall through. My poor associate was standing around for 30 minutes more than she had to. They let me switch out cars once I was in Nashville. All the managers at the pick up location could have cared less- looking at me dead eyed as I held back tears. One girl named Amanda was quite kind. Aside from that and the late switch out.... horrible horrible service.

The experience from the moment it started was terrible. When I arrive to pick up my reserved SUV, the guy told me he didn't show my reservation and he could't help me. I finally asked to talk to the manager - I took an Uber there so I needed a car to drive and I did have a reservation. The manager came outside, found my reservation and got me on my way. So thankful for him! But when we dropped the SUV off, we left the cooler in the back seat, the guys working said they would take care of it. I accidentally left my iPad as well and I can not get a single person to help me. I filled out all the forms but because it was an airport location, they are saying they can't actually get a hold of anyone onsite. This is a huge deal, I need my work iPad back asap! Be careful for the crazy loop holes that Enterprise has going.

I was trying to rent a vehicle from Enterprise in Nashville, TN on 8th Ave. Since it was very snowy that day they said they couldn't come get me because of the road so I said ok I live 2 miles away and could walk there and get the rental and the guy over the phone said sounds good and that they close at 3 p.m buy would wait for me to get there. I walk 2 miles in the freezing snow to Enterprise and get there at 3:01 p.m. I see one of the guys at the door as I'm walking up only for him to tell me that they just locked the safe and sorry would not get me the rental I was promised! I walked through the freezing snow for nothing! Terrible customer service I mean absolutely awful. You let somebody walk through a freezing hell just to be turned away just a min after closing. Don't do business at this location.

I found out that some Enterprise sites rent cars at a higher rate than others here in Nashville. Even though they're all less expensive than the national chain I was renting from (starts with a "B", rhymes with udget) I'm happiest with the downtown site because not only can you rent a large, 4-passenger pick-up truck, but it's usually less expensive than their competitors an other Enterprise locations in the surrounding area. The vehicles are always clean and relatively new and have never given me a maintenance problem. The staff is friendly and will let me pick the car or truck I want if there's a choice. Oh, and they have Saturday and Sunday hours at this site so I'm not forced to drive to the airport to pick up a car on the weekend. In my opinion, it's the best rental car shop in town.

These guys are great to deal with, some of the in-experienced reps. are a bit too rigid but in general they've always done their best to accommodate me. I only did 4 stars because of the one or two mis-haps with a billing problem, some special rates listed on web site that weren’t honored because the season was not in full swing yet for those to be used, but I will say barring one (that was too small for me to waste my time on) they got the billing issue resolved quickly in a day or two. I continue to use these guys even though I have point status with Hertz from a business perspective. I wish there was a way to be listed as a re-occurring loyalty customer so when higher seasonal rates kick in I can continue to pay my regular rate.

On April 5, 2021 I rented a car in Phoenix (at the airport enterprise Rent-A-Car terminal) I got 10 miles out of town and the air pressure light came on I had to stop and put air in the tires and I had to put air in the tires of the car every day that I used it till I returned it 3 days early because they wouldn’t replace the car I went to three different places I asked for a refund they didn’t even respond!!! I will never use enterprise Rent-A-Car ever again I paid $289 for a car that I drove from Phoenix to Prescott and then parked because I had to put it air in the tires daily. They have complete documentation because I called them a half a dozen times and spent hours on the phone with people that couldn’t help me!

Booked a 7 passenger Tahoe with this company a couple months before a trip out for a wedding. About a week before the trip they called to say they may not have the exact car I ordered. Upon landing in Nashville I had a voicemail from them stating that they actually didn't have any car or us. I tried to speak to a manager to find out how this could happen and they said he'd call me back sometime as he was out looking for more cars. I never got a call and had to spend my trip searching for a different car from another company. Very unprofessional and total lack of care on their part. They knew weeks in advance they did not have the car I ordered and didn't bother to tell me until we arrived in the city.

All the staff was very friendly and got me in and out as fast as they could. Picked up on a Friday morning and had to wait a couple of minutes, but they found my reservation quickly and got me in a car within 10 minutes. They were out of my reserved class of car, so they upgraded me to an SUV at the same cost. I was staying at a hotel about a mile away, so used the Enterprise pick up service and they were on time for my scheduled pick up too. Return was also easy, they came out to check the car and emailed my receipt and I was on my way. They also allowed me to park the rental overnight at the location, so I could avoid the $30+ parking fee at my hotel. I would rent from them again.

This may not happen often, but it happened to me. Enterprise driver showed up at the body shop to pick us up, but left with wrong passenger. Then another driver showed up for that passenger. He had to call his manager & make sure okay to take us to his location. Once there, the manager didn't know who the driver spoke with. He did get us a car, not the one I'd arranged to drive, & he wrote off cost of gas, which was nice. However, expecting a pick up at 1:00 & in reality not leaving his facility until almost 3:00 was a drag. I called the original location to tell that manager what happened & I got a "sorry about that." Need to be more conscientious & customer friendly.

The friendly customer service & efficiency I received today was extraordinary from Kyle Maitland! This is the reason why I will ALWAYS choose Enterprise as well as refer them to my family & friends. Thank goodness my insurance company, Progressive partners with them for their insurers rental needs. I dropped off my car at the Beaman Body Shop & Enterprise happened to be there to handle the reservation for me. Kyle made it happen in less than 30 minutes & the Ford Explorer SUV was cleaned, crisp & dropped off at the shop for me. I am extremely pleased with the experience I received from Enterprise today!!! Thanks again Kyle & Enterprise for providing top notch service.

Had to have my car repaired twice and I as a result was given two rentals during a two week period. The 1st time was uneventful and just the regular rental car process. The 2nd time I was met by this Calvin Klein model look-a-like who I think was named Anthony. There was an issue with finding my reservation but he eventually found me a car instead of the available pickup truck that I'm sure I would have brought back damaged. Returning the car was smooth until I realized I left my work parking pass in the car. Zach searched the car and the lost and found and was able to find it. Shout out to Anthony and Zach. I don't like Nashville but they were a bright spot.

A friend and I (AKA Cynthia Winget and Sherry Brisch) recently rented a car from Enterprise located on 8th Avenue in Nashville. Enterprise Agencies in Wisconsin has always been my favorite Car Rental agency and this Nashville location reinforced my satisfaction with this brand. I forgot the name of the man who checked out the Volvo S60 to us but he definitely deserves 5 stars for his service. He made the check out process very easy and went over the car very thoroughly so that I felt safe driving it. At a time when many people have a difficult time depending on car rental agencies, we are very grateful to Enterprise for their reliable service. Thank you!

I don’t know how to thank Patrick and Justis enough at Enterprise! They literally saved us in some pretty terrible weather conditions! We were trapped in our AirBNB across the road from their location due to inbound ice and snow and they were kind enough to rent us a car on the spot so we could get to the grocery store for supplies. After another day of cancelled flights they again helped us by upgrading us to a minivan so the 5 of us could drive back to Charleston, SC. Without their thoughtfulness and kindness we would likely still be in Nashville but we are now home and happy with our families. THANK YOU!

very happy with the service the agents were very kind and friendly .we were having a very bad day i was taking my mom to the heart doctor and my car over heated at the 24/65 split we moved 9 tenths of a mile in 45 min , my car over heated called my ins for tow truck and husband to come get us in moms car as we were two hours away from home husband left in moms car to come get us and her car broke down some sensor on the transmission stopped working. enterprise came and got us from the auto shop we got a car with no problem and finally made it back home at 8 pm14 hours after leaving home.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! They left me completely stranded and never picked me up (despite confirming the night before). I received no call, no text, and had to scramble to find another car rental company. Then, when I tried to follow up with the Branch Mgr, Caroline, and left a VERY detailed message with Jake, to let her know what happened, she never even called me back. Apparently, leaving people high and dry is a common occurrence - I heard it from the hotel, and the other car service who eventually helped me out, but not without a lot of stress, lost time, and additional expense!

The guys at this Enterprise location were lifesavers! We were visiting Nashville with a group of girls staying at an air bnb next door during the winter storm. Our flights kept getting canceled and they helped us with a rental to get to the grocery store for some supplies. After another canceled flight, we decided to drive home. Patrick and Justice were so helpful in quickly finding us an upgrade so we could comfortably make the 9 hour drive. I was supposed to have a reservation at 7:30 through USAA but apparently they never actually made the reservation. When I arrived I was told there were no cars available for me. I asked him if there was anything they could do for me and the gentleman (I never got his name and I really regret that but possibly could have been a manager) did some digging and found a mini-van for me quick enough that I still made it to work on time. I was upset at first but my problem was quickly solved so would definitely recommend this location. Thank you so much sir for finding me a car!

Although my experience with Enterprise is always pleasurable. I rented a minivan and it was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car. First, the car had a bad odor. The steering wheel was so stiff my arm still has pain. There was no blue tooth connection only an aux cord. To top it all off the right side door and trunk didn't lock or close when you pressed the automatic button on the keys. To my surprise upon returning to the car after parking the car, it was open and they had taken 68.00 dollars worth of stuff out of the car.

Worst rental car experience of my life. The vehicle was decent once I finally got it. I made 3 reservations and tried to get a car from 4 separate locations. All of this was with four separate enterprise locations because I was going to a place in Texas where they were the only one with a location close to me where it could be turned in. I guess that's why they are a 2 and not a 1 because they had a location near me along with enough locations to finally find a car. It was a huge headache that I hope I never have to go through again

Cannot say enough good things about this Enterprise location. These guys worked their tails off while we were there during the ice/snow storm. We stayed at an air bnb next door and could see how hard they were working in less than optimal conditions. We had multiple flights get canceled so decided to rent a car to drive home. They were so friendly and accommodating!! Patrick and Justice and all the other guys there seriously deserve 10 stars. They made us feel safe and taken care of during a stressful time of travel. It was way more expensive than I thought it was going to be and after I was charged a high price per day for the vehicle they had the nerve to charge me for mileage and I had no idea. They also put a 385.00 hold on my card by "accident" and did not let me know that either. I was so irritated with them. I have had a really bad experience with this particular location about 5 years ago. I decided to give them another chance and they still disappointed me and I am definitely not satisfied!!!! I wish I could give them a negative star.

Overall, the experience was okay. I called ahead of time and wanted to make sure that I got a vehicle that I felt safe driving. Unfortunately, there was a lapse in communication and they wanted to put me in a vehicle that was way too big for what I needed (and much lower gas mileage). After conversations with the representatives there, I was able to get the car that I felt comfortable with for the trip. Outside of that, the experience was fairly positive but I will not prepay for a vehicle again because of these frustrations.

Went online to make a reservation. Show up and told I can’t rent a car because I do NOT have a return flight, even though I called and asked. So irate that I spent $20 on Lyft to have to run around and head back. Went to a local rental place and they told me they couldn’t rent me a vehicle because I have an out of state license. I called from the parking lot and they told me I could still rent, so I put a representative on the phone with me and the customer support didn’t know the policy! Waste of time and money!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. The staff is rude and not knowledgeable. We rented a car several weeks ago and they misquoted us and charged us the wrong amount several times. When calling the branch we have not been able to get in touch with anyone, have had several people hang up on us and we have been waiting for a call back for two weeks, and that includes calling the branch and regional managers. I would really recommend going with literally any other car company when considering renting.

As both a State of TN government customer and for personal rentals, I'm telling everybody - this Enterprise location has the best customer service of anyone I do business with. And there's a steady stream of new faces, which tells me that it's part of the Enterprise culture to ensure great service. So many times you can find a great business arrangement but then some day it goes sour - - but here, Enterprise has maintained this high standard for over 3 years now. Keep it up, please! I had reserved my car 4 months in advance. When I arrived to pick up my car there were none available. The agent tried to rent me a pickup instead. I said no I wanted the vehicle I was promised. He continued to want me to rent a truck asking me to look at it. I was asked three times more to have a truck instead of a car. We had to wait while they brought another car which had a missing right front turn signal assembly which I turned down. Finally I was given a suv to drive. This was very poor customer service.

I am very impressed with the efficient and friendly service Carlos provided for us. He was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He found us the perfect car quickly, organised all our details without any trouble, and explained the car and its features to us swiftly. We experienced a flat tyre and he sorted us out in minutes with a replacement tyre. He provided top class customer service and is a great asset to the Enterprise company. Usually use the Charlotte Ave Enterprise which is amazing. This location is really horrible . We picked up a van and the van was not cleaned . There was trash all over the inside and they did not offer to clean it. The van was also in horrible condition (stained upholstery, filthy exterior) and the oil change light was in. Based on the condition of this vehicle , it should not have even been put out to rent. I love Enterprise and use it exclusively but I definitely will not go to this location ever again

This was one of the best rental experiences that I have ever had! Everyone who worked there was so nice and welcoming, not to mention really friendly and helpful! The people who picked me up and dropped me off did a great job of making me feel comfortable and engaging me in casual conversation so that the drive wasn't awkward. They even call to check on you to make sure that you are satisfied with your rental and everything! It's really great! I will most definitely be renting from this location again!!

My boyfriend and I had an anniversary trip planned to the mountains and needed a 4WD/AWD last minute due to all the snow we got. I called and talked to Patrik the manager in a panic knowing it’d be hard to come by, but he was able to hook us up with a beautiful Audi SUV that made me feel so safe in the snow and was super comfortable for our trip. Everyone was very nice and the car was clean. It made our anniversary trip even better. Couldn’t recommend Patrik and this location more.

I was traveling by myself, so I definitely appreciated his thoughtful, caring service. If you're looking for a rental car, I couldn't recommend Chris more. Carlos was very helpful and I am so glad to have dealt with him. No issue was too big or too small! He had us out on the road in no time with a great car. Carlos was responsive to any queries we had and all service was delivered with a smile. Car rental can be so stressful but Carlos made it easy and even fun. My wife and I rented a car at Enterprise Rent-A-Car downtown Nashville 1700 8th ave South on September 21, 2022. The employees service and friendliness were over the top! They took the stress out of renting a car and we received a complementary upgrade from a Toyota Corolla to a Chrysler 300! Upon our return, we also got a ride back to our hotel. A special shoutout to the team, Chad, Kylie, Shania, Randy, Tristian and Ivan! We highly recommend this agency.

I rent quite frequently at the 606 Lafayette location; at least once a month. Over this last year I have found the rental process at this location to be very smooth and hassle free. The pick up service is OK, but is frequently late by more than a half hour. The service at the counter has always been courteous and efficient. I will certainly continue to rent from this location. After all, they know me now, and that makes it go even smoother.

I rent from Enterprise only for their cheap rates and I don't like booking through 3rd party vendors. However, every experience there seems to be an issue with the vehicles I rent. My last rental the car had no brake pads and needed an oil change. The one before it a Chevy Cruze, needed an oil change. It would help if the representatives knew about the cars and what maintenance work was recently perform on the vehicles.

As a new grandma, I find myself renting fairly often from this location in order to travel 6hrs away. These people are ALWAYS professional and MORE then helpful. As a debit card payer, I know the rules and check-in is a breeze ! I wish it was more affordable but the ease of renting from here almost makes up for the price ! A shout out to Brandon, he made today's rental effortless ! It was MUCH appreciated !!

We recently rented a car from Enterprise to travel in Tennessee. We picked up the car in Nashville, and then went to Pigeon Forge, Chattanooga, and turned it in in Memphis. The car was clean and ran well for us. We did not have any problems with it. They came and picked us up from our hotel in Nashville (free of charge) and took us to the rental place. Return at the Memphis airport was quick and easy.

Reserved the car on the last minute notice. Store staff called that the one that I reserved online was not available. Had to call other locations and trying to find a place that would let me rent a car. But ultimate was still offered a car, very grateful of that. Because of some minor issue with the car I was given a day off of the price when I returned the car. Great service overall and fair price.

Worst customer service they made a mistake and refused to fix it. (We had screenshot proof). 2 agents hung up on us I will do my best to NEVER use Enterprise again. Horrible experience. In Nashville area we could not rent a one way car or had to be returned to same location even thou we made a online reservation needing a one way they refused to fix their mistake. They don't even deserve a start!!!

I was in and out of their office for both Pickup and Return within 7 minutes. They gave me an upgrade without my asking. It was an excellent car (Corolla) that served me well. The rate was outstanding. The office is in an easy-to-find location, centrally located. The gentlemen who checked me in and out were friendly, efficient, professional. I couldn't ask for a better car rental experience.

The folks working at this rental agency were the most professional and nicest people ever ! We had a family emergency and no other place had cars . We rented a Nissan truck and they were extremely helpful every step of the way! The manager was awesome along with another young man . I apologize for not remembering their names . It was a pleasure to have above and beyond service !

My experience with the team at Enterprise on Lafayette has always be positive with a professional attitude. The great you immediately and follow that up with quick check in and a car that is clean and frequently better than I have anticipated. In addition, they are quite good at anticipating our needs, like calling for a cab to get us to the airport BEFORE we even ask.

Kylie is the BEST. She went above and beyond to make my rental experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. Definitely recommend this location to anyone ... Everyone I met with was wonderful and made the process easy. Suggest picking up or dropping off vehicle at least an hour or 2 after they open if you can, it will minimize your wait greatly.

Our rep was very helpful and quick and very very sweet. My sister and I walked down to Enterprise hoping to get a vehicle, and much to our surprise there was only two left and thank goodness we were able to get one of them. Use to love this place! New manager is racist and has bad customer skills. I will never go back to Enterprise again... After using Enterprise 5+ yrs. I see they don’t care about customer loyalty or fixing problems after they make them. Screw you enterprise. This new guy makes Enterprise look really bad because of his personal issues.

Everyone was super friendly, helpful, all around great. Good rates, they do change, so you have to pay attention. Was able to cancel reservation and make a new one for a lower rate less than a week before renting. Everyone I talked to was extremely professional. Absolutely top choice location when it comes to renting vehicles.

Amazing service. When I picked up my vehicle, there was no Navigation device (which I ordered) so they looked at a number of options and found a vehicle with navigation. Nothing was too much trouble, they even offered to fill up the car with extra gas for the inconvenience. The vehicle was clean and new, Highly recommended!

We needed an extra car for just a few days and on my way back home the tire blew out of the vehicle, they replaced the vehicle and gave me the a 1 day credit without even asking!

Friendly and helpful staff, and was able to get what I needed. I was able to use their weekly rate to rent a car for a week, but unfortunately their basic damage coverage for the vehicle is set on a daily rate which adds up. I wish they could have a weekly rate that correlated more with the weekly rental rate.

I was received by Emily Oleson upon arrival. She was very courteous and prompt. The entire check-in process took only minutes. When I returned the car, I was offered a ride home (and I lived quite far). Even though the choice of cars was limited, the price was reasonable.

Worst experience. Didn’t have a car when we arrived. Told us we would get free upgrade. Waited one hour. Had to take a smaller car and redo all information. Then they wanted to charge more than Costco said on our contract. Never use this place.
