When my car was totaled in an accident recently, my insurance reserved a vehicle for me with Enterprise on Capitol Expressway/Pearl. The date that I picked it up, it was incredibly busy and I was feeling a bit uncertain about the situation, but that didn't stop Nate and the staff from being super helpful, reassuring, and kind. I left with a rental car that I was excited to drive and the confidence that this part of the process was going to be smooth. When I called Enterprise with a question about keeping the vehicle longer, Nate was (once again) super reassuring, informative, helpful, and kind. After that, I had the rental car for about 20 days before my claim was closed. I decided to rent again because I still didn't have a car of my own, and Nate was awesome in extending my rental in the same car with zero hassle. Today, I returned my rental 2 days early, and Nate and the staff were again immediately helpful, kind, and got me out of there quickly. I'm so impressed with the staff at this location, especially Nate! I had never rented a car prior to this experience, and now I feel like I would rent a car to travel or when needed from this location because they have been so amazing.

I went to Pearl Ave, in San Jose. While booking I asked what the discount insurance provided, and the worker said in the reference number provided it was not showing a discount. He had me pull up my policy and showed me that $40 was covered a day. So I thought great! Until it took 8 days for my insurance rep to get back to me and tell me that was on a different car, that I had no rental coverage. So manager at Enterprise said he could only discount 1 day ($49 with tax) yet I still ended up paying in full $438 because the manager didn’t add the discount; after his employee had me believing $40 a day would be covered. Car accidents suck, especially when you’re not at fault. But having to pay to $438 for rental and deductible $500, that’s money in my pocket I wouldn’t have spent. Instead of $572 now I paid $938. I wouldn’t have gotten the rental car if I had known it wasn’t covered by insurance. I get it everyone is overworked, money has to come from somewhere but it just sucks. Shoutout to Derek who handed me the keys, and retrieved my sunglasses I left, that was very nice.

The manager at the branch went out of his way to take care of me, even though I came in right at closing time. He also remembered me when I came back to return the car a week later. Those kind of details go a long way towards building a relationship. To be honest, the last time I dealt with Enterprise, I didn't have the best experience. They didn't have the car I reserved and I felt that I was overcharged for the car I ended up getting. I called customer service to explain what happened and they said someone from corporate would get back to me to make things right. I never got that call or e-mail. I did not use Enterprise for a while after that, and only decided to give them a chance because I had just dropped off my car at the dealership. I'm glad I did as this manager really made me feel like my business was appreciated.

I have been going to the same location for many years, have rented vehicles of different classes, and have consistently had great customer service. Even when the office is totally slammed and I’m 4 or 5 customers deep in the queue I am usually greeted quickly and the staff is good about setting expectations for a longer than usual wait when necessary. I have been helped the last two visits by Ashley and she has been great to work with. She has taken my feedback on vehicles at checkout time with grace, especially when there was a surprise chip in a windshield. She has always offered options when available and summarizes the rental contract clearly. The manager, Jose, is always congenial and I think genuinely takes my feedback. His team reflects the leadership he demonstrates for customer service, which keeps me going back.

Good service generally. Was here from the nearby Hyundai dealer as my car was getting a warranty repair and needed a replacement for a couple of days. They did try to upsell me beyond what the warranty covered but not too hard and they did have an available vehicle for me within warranty price, though the size was not my first choice (was a mini SUV). Vehicle did its job, My only gripe was that there was a mere sliver of gas in the tank when they gave it to me, literally ess than 1/8 and I was honestly worried about making it 3 blocks to the gas station near the dealer...had I needed to drive the 7 miles home, I likely would not have made it. They should always ensure at least 1/4 tank when checking out the vehicle.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. The car checkout and return experience was great, but where they really stood out was customer service. When checking out the car, Liam made sure I was completely satisfied with the car and gave me a car that was perfect for my needs (my needs had changed after I reserved the car). Then Rachel gave me her business card and actually answered my calls twice when I needed to make changes during the rental period. This team has an excellent costumer service. Since the moment I walked in the office I was welcome with a nice greeting and smile. The staff member in this office are amazing. Went to this location, after my car was dropped off at the Dealership with some issues. The Dealership provided a rental car for me. Very friendly, professional staff. Service was amazing and i could drive off the lot with my rental car in no time. When i returned the vehicle today and i was again greeted very welcoming and the lady took care of everything without waiting time. They even offered me a free ride to my Dealership. Great service, will definitely come back in the future to rent a vehicle.

Long-time customer- As always, the Pearl Ave store knocks it out of the park with outstanding customer service! Elle was super attentive, making sure everything about the rental car was perfect and taking the time to familiarize her customers with the particular features of the car being rented. There was an oil light that came on after about 40 miles into our drive to SOCAL. It turned out to be a quart n half low. I filed it and called enterprise. Our local center ended up calling me back. He was eager and willing to do whatever it took help us. The car seemed fine for the rest of the drive. He ended up giving us a huge discount. Their attention to their customers is the reason we continue to go with Enterprise.

Enterprise on Pearl Ave in San Jose was busy when we arrived but we were greeted and comfortable while we waited a short time. Then when we explained that we needed a van with particular dimensions our assistant happily showed us the options available and let us choose the best one. It was a great experience to feel like a person, not a number. The choice worked perfectly and the return was simple and quick. Thank you!

I had the amazing customer service with Enterprise. Ashley and the whole entire staff was very friendly and was very helpful. They were on top of everything once you walk into their doors. Never a long wait and always asking if I needed anything while my rental was being washed and cleaned. I would go back and rent with them. Everything was fine with the rental. The car was ready on time and ran great and the price was very reasonable when I did comparison shopping. The only thing I would have changed is that I got a mini SUV that did not have a cover to hide the contents of the storage area in the back. Like many people, I rented the car for a trip and we had suitcases in the back, which we could not cover when we parked.

I had a great experience at this car rental. Danny was fantastic at pick up, he explained the terms in detail and was very friendly and professional. At drop off, another gentleman quickly scanned the car and I was in my way out in seconds. Great experience overall and now I will be switching to this car rental from National where I was renting for the last 15 years. Hope the service doesn’t change.

Will not be coming back here. I was pressured into purchasing insurance even when I had my own,and was charged $200 plus. They want you to purchase their own Insurance!! I was charged multiple fees even after returning the vehicle with full gas. The manager was somewhat helpful, but not 100% unfortunately I will not be renting from this location again. =(

A total waste of time. I had a reservation to pick up at 2 pm. I'm here waiting for an hour and no car yet!!! I've been renting car from different companies and it is very first time been treated like this! If you don't have a car to rent, simply mention that on your website!!! I would have given less than one star if I could. Totally disappointed!

This rental car office employs the best workers in customer service! Every person in the staff appear to like working there. We reserved on an unusual day when the place was inundated with walk-ins, but my husband was still assured of his reserved car when we showed up to pick up the vehicle. They offer much cheaper option than other companies too!

I recently had to rent a car for a few days while my car was being repaired. I found everything about renting at this location to be top notch: my pick up at the repair shop, my interaction with the staff, and the overall rental experience. All employees I met were friendly and professional. They truly made me feel like a valued customer.

I walked in right as they were closing and Nate was still able to help me and stay after closing, they were able to get me what I needed for my vacation and made sure the car was clean and Julie also made sure I had everything I needed and that my vehicle was checked in on time as I returned it 10/10 would definitely come back again

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I can list a number of reasons for why I would give them 1 start (or preferably ZERO stars if that was possible), but the last straw for me was being placed on hold for almost 15 minutes (14 minutes 39 seconds to be exact)! I will not deal with Enterprise if I can help it!!!

The office was busy with a lot of customers each time that I visited your office. Jasmine was patient and took time explaining the rental policy, the EV vehicle and recommendations regarding returning the vehicle. She provided her contact information in the event that I ran into any difficulties.

Rented a car at the Capitol location for a family trip over the summer and the experience was great. Julie was the one who helped us rent the car and she was great to work with. Would definitely rent from this location again. The manager there is also great. Actually, the whole staff is great.

I was in and out quickly and the staff was polite and helpful. One thing to check for is that the car interior is clean I got 2 different SUVS and both of them had dirty seats.
