Car was nice and actually, luckily for me, the brand I prefer. It had a few marks that had not been declared, wheel alignment was propably off because the car liked to dart around when braking (I know how that model of car normally handles) and it had a lot of dust inside. Small things to many, but to a car guy, big things. But all together, much better than I was expecting. The link they sent to my email, where to return the car was off by kilometers and it took me 20minutes to figure out where to go and return the car, and I had to check my old GPS data to check where I picked up the car to figure out where to go. Nice staff, gave me options on what car I want to take out, gave information when asked etc. It was really nice to have options on what car to take. Would use again, but they need to fix the map issues.

American here with only experience with automatic cars. When booking a car, I could only find EVs for automatic cars. I figured I would try it out, and boy was that a mistake. Germany is absolutely terrible for EVs. Either the charging stations are completely broken, only one car can charge even if it has 3 charging ports, don't accept a credit card, or have a specific app to go with it. There were several times that we were getting pretty desperate with only 50km left, going from broken charging station to broken charging station. It's not really Europcar's fault that Germany's infrastructure isn't ready for EVs, but I definitely think it's bad on them for even offering EVs to tourists.

Very good service and great vehicle (we happened to get a new car). The biggest challenge, which always seems to be the case, had to do with vehicle protection. The rental broker, Auto Europe, offered different levels of vehicle protection during the rental process on their website; I thought I had chosen one during this process. When I was finalizing the rental at the EuropCar counter in Frankfurt, I was told that I did not have protection on the vehicle, and was subsequently sold a package. I am now in the process of chatting with all parties involved to see if I might have been double-charged. A little frustrating, post-vacation.

Worst of the worst. If there is -1 star I would give it. Landed in Terminal 2. Waited for 40 min just to be told if I don’t take her car (extra $) I have to go to T1. Read the reviews about agents and the white lady agent tried all ways to upsell. End up go to T1 get the car in 10 min. Europcar: your company is good but the employee (Terminal 2) customer services is SUCK. Took 30 min to serve a customer while long waiting for other Terminal 1 agents are super good and efficient. So it is not the company but the people. I suggest Europcar to have auto check in. Save time and away from pushing my sales

Nice company but we made reservations for a car and when we arrived the person who took our reservations reserved our car in the wrong terminal. Wouldn't have been so terrible but after traveling all the way from the US, American airlines lost all our luggage and spent hours filling out paperwork then on top of it we had to travel to another terminal so everything was a bad experience. Also was traveling with our baby grandson so everything was very frustrating.

Tolles Team Vorbildlicher Service Mein Enkel hat den Mietwagen für mich online gebucht da ich von Sri Lanka aus Probleme mit der Internet Verbindung hatte in Frankfurt Terminal 2 am 12.01.2024 von einer sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin das Fahrzeug übernommen und in Kassel am 13.01.2024 ebenso an einen sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter übergeben Mitarbeiter/in kompetent und Freundlich dazu sehr hilfsbereit und Humorvoll So muss Service sein

Overall, all went well and had no issues neither during pick-up nor during drop-off. Price and service were appropriate. One issue I have to mention is that the vehicle was not well cleaned which was not noticed until I left the airport parking garage (low to dim light at pick up station). Used drop off box for keys and got an email from Europcar that everything is fine an hour later.

I booked a car through the app I choose a normal limousine but when I arrived only station was available, Kevin was very helpful and sweet he took care of me and gave me the car I liked, he’s super friendly and professional he doesn’t like a customer to leave his counter not satisfied! If he was not there I think I was going to cancel my reservation!!! The car was clean and new model

My reservation was luxury vehicle but when I arrived at Frankfurt airport the staff told me that luxury vehicle not allowed to go to Italy so i had to change the type of vehicle to a smaller one without refunds They should have mentioned that from the beginning so i know what to do and what type of vehicle i take, Everything were perfect from the staff to the vehicle cleanness

Depending where you are rent your car, but in general the service behavior of the Europcar employees are okay. The external worker out of the regular working hours are more friendly and try to find the best deal for the customer. Anyway, I am always satisfied with the Europcar Team. Thanks for your support… especially when you arrive after long flight!

Car was great, but too big for the average German driving lane and parking spaces! Return of the car was extremely frustrating since there were no specific instructions as to where and how to return at the Frankfurt train station. That was my main point of distress; if that had been handled better, I would have given 5 stars.

Car parked on 2nd floor, but told me to find the car on 3rd floor in the carpark. Wasting 20 mins walking round the 3rd floor in vain, then had to walk back the long way from carpark to counter to get the staff to come to carpark. It is really frustrated that 30 mins just wasted like this.

When we arrived at the Frankfurt Airport we learned that we actually reserved a car at the other Frankfurt airport but the Europcar team took care of us. If you're going to Frankfurt be sure it's FRA and not the other airport in Hahn.
