Absolutely appalled with this company, had a car hired through insurance with them and they were completely unorganised and rude and blamed me for their own mistakes, and on Return of the car I then had them trying to say I had damaged the car, I asked for proof and they said they would email photos to which I responded saying I will send the video/photos I took of the car of when I dropped it off, only to never receive proof because it clearly didn’t exist, so if you do need to use this company I would advise either doing as I did above to avoid what ever scams they’re trying pull or completely avoid them altogether.

After searching for a car in Adelaide that would allow the ferry ride to Kangaroo Is we came across Excel. They went out of their way by pre-filling out the paperwork and delivering the almost new car to the airport parking lot as we were on a limited schedule. After the return they dropped us off at the airport again.This is a smaller family run business but by far one of the easiest and friendly we have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Excel and will use them again if we ever get that way.

Excel has been our go-to for many years for our regular trips to SA. I love that they are a family owned and operated local company rather than the typical national big players. They are unfailingly helpful, very friendly and have very competitive prices. The cars are always immaculately presented and their airport pick-up/drop-off service is extremely convenient. Combined with the easy online booking system, the hire process is a breeze. Highly recommended.

Will 100% be using Excel again! Their prices are so reasonable compared to all other car hire. You do have to fill in a form to get a quote but you get a response within 24 hours and from there it’s so simple. Communication was fast and easy. Pick up and drop off from and to the airport was seamless and there was no waiting around to fill in forms and be forced into paying extras. It worked perfectly for us! Very happy! Judy the Big Boss is very helpful and friendly. She will ask her faithful Mr Sweet to show you around different types of campervans available. Mr Roger Sweet the other owner, is also very humorous and knowledgeable! He gladly obliges your requests by saying "Roger that." Aha, very funny. 40 years in business already, no wonder, so helpful and professional! I have enjoyed dealing with them, I believe you would too.

Pleasant experience with booking and picking up my 4WD for the school holiday trip into the Flinders Ranges. The Nissan X-trail was well presented, only problem which I didn't pick up until we got to the Flinders was that it wasn't the 4WD model but rather the base 2WD model. Luckily the 4WD traction wasn't required on my trip and the vehicle was suitable for the trip.

We hired a people mover for a few days to attend a family funeral. I can not thank these wonderful people for making this part of the trip so easy & affordable. Baby seats were organised. Pick up was simple. Lovely lady on the phone. Fantastic service.

Nice, family owned company. The RAA sent me there after someone reversed into my car and put it off the road for some weeks. They gave me a vehicle to drive similar to my own, and at a reasonable rate. I can only recommend them highly..

Not very friendly with returning customer, Judy and Kristan behaviour was extremely rude, and pretending to be busy every time you call, now they became very greedy.

Went here to pick up a replacement vehicle on the RAA tab. Was an easy process. Pleased with the vehicle I got.

Can pick up car and drop off car out of hours. Cleaning car is expensive. But cars are cheap to run petrol.
