Really nice clothes, but the store could use and update. The clothes are beautiful and of a great quality, but the state of the store doesn't match the quality of the clothing. The front doors are a mess and need to be replaced and the fitting rooms look terrible, old scratched up paint and squeezed together in an awkward placement. No one wants to try on clothes so close to the cash register, with very little privacy available...just saying. But...with that being said they are most definitely worth a trip to, because the clothes are REALLY NICE. The have a great size selection and accommodate all body sizes; if you're plus size they only carry a 12 in store, but larger sizes are available online. I just wished the company would put some time and money into fixing up the store, because it kind of ruins the atmosphere and the shopping experience.

Me and my friend walked into an Express store to buy a suit for our friend's wedding on Sunday and we were in a hurry, it took us 10 min to select a suit. After paying the bill I asked the saleswoman for a carry bag for my stuff,she refused to give and moreover she was not polite and she was very very rude . I asked her to say politely she is not even caring my words. This was the worst experience while shopping I ever had. BAD ATTITUDE

I am an a list for the express card so i shop a lot at express and no one greeted me and when i wanted to try on clothes no one took my items to a fitting room and no one was around to open one for me. I didn’t like the treatment at all when another lady came in with heels on she was greeted and treated differently. I was wearing a casual outfit with tennis shoes and i never imagined my clothes would make a difference. Horrible service

Really great store! I was in KC the week of July 23-27 for a business trip and stopped in. I was greeted when I came in and asked if I needed anything later when I was looking through the button ups. I love it when a store makes me feel comfortable and when employees offer their assistance. It should be a given, but it isn’t always. I’ll definitely be shopping at this Express the next time I’m in the Country Club Plaza area of KC

I read reviews about this store smelling badly and they were right! This store stinks! It's crazy. I'm not saying it's the employee's fault - maybe it's the building itself, but I will never return to this Express. Not to mention their selection is really small. I will just order online. I'll have to consider whether it's even worth going here for my returns. I still might drive to the one is Oak Park Mall.

I came into the store and I picked out a pair of jeans that I liked and the cashier was very rude and wouldn’t let me use my debit card to pay for them. She kept accusing me of stealing the debit card even though it had my name on it and my signature on the back. And then she stormed off with the jeans and didn’t give us an option to use another form of payment. She was very rude and disrespectful.

Decent store, good prices, AMAZING staff! I was coming in for a wedding from out of town and didn't realize that my old suit didn't fit anymore. I walked up to the first employee and said, man I need help. Luke was understanding of my limited time and was an absolute pro. Got a nice fitting suit, decently priced in under 40 mins. Big shout out to Luke again! Someone give that guy a raise!

This store has become my go to for quality professional attire at reasonable prices. I shop in their clearance section and never fail to find classy, contemporary slacks, , and in my size. I always feel invited and valued. Staff are helpful and accommodating. The deals are extraordinary especially considering the Express that I earn! I have purchased a $95 dress for $5.25.

Great store. Love all the business casual clothes. They have a great selection of tops, cardigans, jeans and pants. I have shopped here for over 20 years. This is the perfect place to shop for work and casual clothes. I love shopping at this store because the clothes are high quality! Highly recommend looking here if you like stylish clothes at great prices.

I was in the store for 30 minutes and not one associate said a word to me, even while being rung up. It’s almost as if they were avoiding me. This has happened to a friend of mine as well. Other expresses have great customer service, but I would avoid this location if you want the customer service you deserve, especially at a high end retail store.

I came in to Express on a VERY time-limited mission to find a black suit for an event that was happening in two hours. Cameron went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed and made the shopping experience easy and as stress-free as possible. Give this woman a raise! Terrible customer service. Wouldn't give me store credit for an online order return. I had the email with the bar code but still couldn't return the item. I was told by the rude clerk that I must find one item, and only one item, to replace the coat and that the cost must be the same! The most absurd thing I've ever heard.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent shopping experience at Express. I do not enjoy shopping and am usually pretty irritable when I have to buy clothes, but Jesse turned my attitude around at check-out. The Country Club Plaza - Express has one of the largest Express men's clothing selections in Kansas City. This location seems to always have the newest inventory and keeps their store well organized. The manager is amazing; she has trained her staff to provide a specular shopping environment.

After having a already horrible shipping experience after purchasing a dress online when I went to return it in store the staff was rude and would not let me return it or give me store credit all because a tag was removed. I didnt even wear the dress and other tags were still attached.

I feel like this location has more items than the other locations in the KC area. What I love most about this location is that I can call and ask if they have an item, they will ask for my size and ACTUALLY check to see if they have it. They will hold it for 24 hours too. :)

Nice store. Cant find an employee when you need them. Found 2, one completely ignored me and greeted the girl who came in a min after I did. The other was running around cleaning fitting rooms while her coworker (the bad greeter) did nothing. I felt sorry for the other girl.

Went to go and return an item. I ask “where do I return this” blonde lady responds with “register(snarky remark)” I said thanks. Then the lady at the register most be PO’d with life because she just gives me attitude the whole time I’m trying to return. -Lovely

Props to the short African American woman and the short bald guy. My fiancée and I showed up mere moments before the store closed and they were not only helpful but patient. No sass no attitude.

The people working there are very nice, but the quality of materials is poor. The majority of clothing is made of polyester which will cause us lots of environmental problems down the road.

I've been going to Express for many years. I love the way their clothes fit and many of the styles they sell. The staff is always helpful in finding what you're looking for.
