Just started my lease today. The facility is pristine. I think it's a little over a year old, and everything still looks brand new. The doors need an access code to enter, and the code is unique to each person. The units also use a different style of lock, rather than the typical combo lock. So I feel like my things are super secure. Sign up process was super easy. I reserved online to lock in the price and everything was good to go when I arrived the day of. They even reached out a few times to see if there was anything they could do make the move in process easier. Easy month by month lease, so you can cancel whenever, as long as you give them a heads up that you don't plan on extending it. I've never rented a storage unit before this, but Extra Space has definitely set the bar high for what I expect out of a storage unit provider.

The facilities are good, but the back end management leaves a lot to be desired. There were quite a few fees and third party insurances that we had to pay for. Customer service is not very helpful if you have any issues. It took quite a long time to receive our first bill. Was also told that there was a prorate fee that was supposed to be one thing, but when later confronting the staff the rate was completely different. In addition to all of this on our move out day, both doors were broken and one was wide open for any and all to enter. When calling to report the issue, no one answered. If you need an indoor storage facility, there are other places that are cheaper, more friendly, and actually care about protecting your belongings.

Kurry was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, personable, and professional! He listened to all of my concerns and politely put my anxieties at ease by explaining the security system, storage cleaning methods, and his incredible onsite management help. He went above and beyond to accommodate me (with a smile on his face) when I realized my original unit was too small for my furniture, and within my time frame! (I had 20 minutes before my movers had to leave). This is by far the cleanest storage facility I have seen, and best manager I have ever worked with! Five stars is an understatement. Thank you Kurry for all of your help today...I made a great choice to store my belongings at this location!

Stephanie is awesome!! Jack the Manager is awesome!! I got to their office and was in and out in about 20 minutes!! This Extra Space Storage location is new, clean, streamlined, and high-tech. I am moving from a competitor storage location where it was dingy and dirty with transients hanging around and sneaking in to use the bathrooms to wash themselves. Although both are climate controlled facilities, Extra Space Storage is definitely a cut above the rest. They offer more Unit sizes and shapes and the best part is... LOWER COST. I am getting a newer, cleaner, safer, more high-tech secure location with an awesome and helpful staff. I can't wait to finish my move! Thank you Stephanie and Jack!!

Wow! I am so impressed with how friendly, personable and knowledge the manager Kurry and Billy at the front desk were in knowing who I was, knowing exactly where my storage was and being so kind and patient. They both had unmatchable friendly and approachable energy! Kurry walked me to my unit that my company set up from California and explained their lock system which sets them a part from other storage facilities! The hallways were so clean and the elevator had cushion in case you’re moving furniture etc you won’t scratch anything! I loved it here!

I had a very stressful day this past Wednesday . Had a hard time finding a climate control storage with right size storage and location convenient for my customer. I made one phone call earlier that day spoke with a guy named Jack Axle he said no problem he could get me tooken care of. I showed up hours later he was there got me a huge 10/20 first floor for an affordable rate. Making my job and unload two times easier. I LOVE this storage facility in the way that you love your favorite restaurant or thrift store! Ive moved with them 3 times and have had extremely positive experiences all 3 times. The staff Fred and Jac are absolutely amazing, positive, and always willing to help you with any concerns or questions with your unit. They also keep the facility extremely clean so i was never worried about some junky neighbors gunk creeping into my unit. As long as I'm in austin they are the ONLY storage facility i recommend!!

I needed a storage unit for a couple of months. The process was extraordinarily easy; someone got back to me within a day of submitting an inquiry, and everything was done over the phone in 10 minutes. And, it's on a month-to-month basis, so when I am done, I'm not locked in! The unit is very secure, requiring a unique passcode to enter, and they give you plenty of keys to your individual unit, which is good if you need to allow access to someone else. I would definitely recommend to others.

Working with Kurry so far has been a dream. I have yet to move my things yet, but he's been so helpful in answering all of my questions, following up with me, and helping me out. Update: I've since moved out and literally had no problems. Super communicative throughout, the space is really clean. There were always available dollies to use. Just a tip-- if you're storing furniture/soft items, put a moth trap in your unit, not their fault, just a natural and helpful precaution.

Very easy to set up and I’m so thrilled with the safety of my unit. I’m in between states right now & this location was easy to find. I didn’t need to focus on anything but driving to and from the unit so thankful! Been here for a whole year and moving out was just as easy as moving in! Ending my reoccurring payment was a quick 3 step process online & I’ll be recommend this location to all my Austinites (even the ones who are in between states )!

Kurry is great! Very kind, taught me how to punch in the code and use the lock, didn’t make me wait. The space seems clean, well lit, and secure. I noticed he locked up the lobby space to come show me my unit— he’s got great situational awareness, and this attention to detail along with the camera monitoring system he’s got running by his desk leaves me no doubt my belongings are in good hands. Highly recommend!

I have had 2 kids at UT Austin, and have used a few storage units over the last 6 years. Chose this one last year, and again this year. These guys are great. The facility is super clean, very easy to get to and the team there is super helpful. Bryan helped us out yesterday, and we were in, finalized the lease got our unit and done in literally minutes. Honestly never do reviews, but a gentleman by the name of Bryan Sparks was by far such a big help in making this transaction so smoothly I just had to leave one. First time ever getting a storage locker so I didn’t know what I was expecting. Bryan definitely made it easy and explained everything in a professional manner. Glad I came to this storage facility, and you won’t regret it either.

So easy to set everything up. I signed my contract online and was able to get a code and move in same day. Completely painless. Storage facility was very clean and felt well run and safe. They have little carts to help you move your items inside which are very helpful. Also they have lighting that turns on as you walk.

Jack was extremely helpful. He saw that we had a unit way in the back and was able to move us to a similar unit closer. Corporate of this company, in Austin anyway, really seems to have the hiring process perfected. I've rented at two locations, and both times I dealt with employees who were above and beyond helpful, friendly, and sincere. The prices are steep, but the customer service is frankly amazing.

I am very happy this place is being ran by females, as soon as I walked into the office it smelled so good and omg the restroom was impeccable which tells a lot of how they keep that place on point. The were very nice as they answered all my questions and concerns.

First off, if it weren't for the extreme rate increases, this place would be a 5 star. In one year my unit went from $229 to now $295 per month. When other companies were going down or not hiking rates, this 3rd party owned ExtraSpace

This is my 2nd unit with ExtraSpace. I love how clean and easy to access the facilities are. Kurry made the process so quick and painful and walked through all the various options. Moving is such a hassle but this wasn’t one of them.

Very clean and organized storage facility. There are carts here and some shady spots for unloading, which is so important in Texas heat. You'd be lucky to have a unit here. Kurry is great and very hospitable.

Felt likely the rate would increase every 3 months by at least $25, what started as a $70/mo rental was $160+/mo after a couple years. Otherwise the unit was good and secure with no issues.
