Disgraceful avoid! No respect for customers. Con men. Untrustworthy. 0 stars if I had the option! Oct 2018 I used this company to move home. After a terrible experience I left a negative review. They asked me to remove this review and offered to pay back the £50 that was overcharged. After a year of nothing I contacted ombudsman for help but was told they will not be able to help because this business is not registered with The National Guild of Removers & Storers (NGRS)!! I have no other option but to suffer my losses and just write this honest review to hopefully help other people and prevent them from suffering ill treatment and loss. I Discovered my broken glass dressing table which these men hid against the wall after removing my first negative review! 14 months later, I am left with a broken glass dressing table, stollen iPod and still nothing resolved. Also being ignored for the past year isn't very nice. No respect for customers. Recap of my review last year. Arrived late, left early, work left incomplete. The 2 extremely rude individuals took several cigarette breaks for at least 10 mins each and left cigarette butts outside both properties which my little one year old picked up. They left 45 minutes before we had agreed and said they had another job but we later found out this was not true. They demanded payment on the spot via phone. I was heavily pregnant at the time and so really needed the job done efficiently and safely. I had an iPod I used to play nursery rhymes to my 1 year old in bed, he threw this behind the bed. We decided to wait till the movers picked the bed up to get it, when I walked into room and asked them where's the iPod, which had fallen behind the bed? They shrugged their shoulders and said something under their breath. Their lack of English did not help, it was very difficult to understand if they were angry or annoyed about moving our stuff. They came across extremely aggressive, and I felt very intimidated by them. We even offered them free lunch at our chip shop after the job which they did not turn down. On the day I noticed my glass dressing table turned the wrong way against the wall, At first I assumed they were in a rush and they did what was convenient for them. These deceitful men were hiding the shattered glass from us so that they can get away, get paid and get their free lunch. After removing my first review, I spoke with Paul about all of this, I decided to accept the theft of my iPod as I had no proof they took it but I know 100% they did. Also my dressing table, Paul said if I could email pictures, which I did. He offered me some money, I told him my dresser was worth more and he asked for receipts. I dig up receipts, and then the ignoring and excuses began. At the time I was dealing with a difficult pregnancy and still calling and emailing Paul. I have spent a year now trying to get this resolved, everytime I managed to get hold of Paul or an email reply, I always get the same replies. "I need to speak to my manager" "I'm dealing with personal issues" "send me that email again I never got it" Everyone has problems but you need to deal with your customers if your going to run a business! I was dealing with issues of my own and having a child! It's funny you got all my emails when I was booking your horrendous service but now when I need you to resolve a problem you guys created, all of a sudden you are not getting any of my emails?!? This Oct the response was"who are you again? I talk to 50-60 people every day mate" I don't think that's even possible! You'd have no time for personal issues! I asked Paul to put me through to his manager since he didn't have time to help me. I think this is Paul's business but he used that as an excuse to fob me off. What was the point in filling out all those insurance papers if you don't actually have insurance! My learning, use a registered legal company to move your precious belongings and pray that they don't steal from you when you turn your back! Their lack of negative reviews is because they pay people to remove them!

AVOID! *Be suspicious of all the positive reviews, if you filter the negative ones you will see a pattern of similar experiences to ours which the company deny by eg saying they don’t have a record of the move.* In summary: - They changed the agreed plan in the quote to move over 2 days to 1 day the day before moving. - Removal men spoke limited/no English making communication difficult - Job rushed and not finished until after 11pm - Items packed poorly - crockery not wrapped, glasses broken - Payment of outstanding balance was demanded before completion of job and the men were told to stop unpacking until payment had been received. - We believe that they are exploiting their staff and paying far less than minimum wage We booked this company on the strength of positive reviews, competitive quote and initial professional survey by a friendly member of their team. It may be that the regular team are good but we believe our job was contracted out which has been others’ experience. Our quote was for moving over two days. The day before the move, FAremovals called us to say they had a lot of men available so they could do the whole move in one day. We initially agreed but then expressed reservations as if the unpacking was late we could not go to oversee it as we had to get back to our 3 young children including my breastfeeding son. FAremovals reassured us that they would have finished packing (which we took to mean ready to leave) by 2pm because they would send 4 men and 2 vans and that they could unpack using video call so we wouldn’t have to be there in person. We were also told we could ‘play it by ear’ which we took to mean they would do it in two days if necessary. On the morning only 2 men arrived. One man spoke some English, the other none at all. This caused problems as we repeatedly told them about some things that needed to stay in the house but they got packed. The boxes were inadequately labelled causing confusion at the other end. The one who spoke English told us he was being paid £80 for the whole day, the other guy £70. They worked hard but it was a big job and they were nowhere near fully packed by 2pm. Two other men contracted from another company arrived around 2.30pm - they were clearly expecting to just load the stuff but had to help with outstanding packing. The vans were not ready to leave until 6pm and there was not room for some of the garden plants so had to go in our car. We phoned FAremovals about this and also that as it was so late we wanted to move the belongings the next day (as per our quote) but were told it was not possible and the guys left in a rush. My husband and I decided one of us should go to Winchester as by now we didn’t trust it would be unpacked properly. He had to drop me at a station while he drove on to Winchester. While driving, FAremovals phoned us demanding payment of the outstanding balance. When we said we were not happy and would only pay once the job was complete, they argued with us and told us: - we had agreed to a one day move so why were we complaining now - we explained because the timeline was completely different to that promised and they had effectively pressurised us into accepting one day. - that they couldn’t move the next day as they didn’t have enough men ‘due to covid’. This was the direct opposite of what we’d been told the previous day when they claimed they had ‘a lot of men available’ - We were blamed for changing the move date 3 times, it had actually been changed twice due to unforeseen change in circumstances but we made the final change with six weeks notice before the move. When my husband arrived, the men had been told to stop unpacking until the balance had been paid. My husband was forced to pay them as it was now late at night. 2 men left at 10pm so my husband had to help the other two until 11.10pm. It was a mess with everything in the wrong place. The quote conveniently has no reference number and we haven’t received an invoice but this is a true account.

Damaged half of my furniture. Trying to get the insurance process going, but they have stalled the process and now avoiding all calls from myself or my wife. Franck seems to defer back to the same set of excuses for not filing insurance (ie. sick, busy, emergency, urgent matter, covid delays, etc.) They also increase the agreed price by 100gbp the day before, leaving us to either reschedule our moving date entirely or go with them. I would avoid FA Removals if possible. Read through the negative reviews, you will see a common theme. They are not registered under the British Association of Removers, and are simply a man and a van service. Following alerting FA removals on the damaged items, they have not taken action. It has been 6 months and insurance process has not started. FA Removals are deliberately stalling the process and wasting time. 28th Dec 2020: removal day 30th Dec 2020: raise issue about furniture damage, and requested to start the insurance claim process 4th Feb 2021: offered gbp100 for ~gbp1,100 worth of damages. We said no, and followed up on the insurance claim process 4th Mar 2021: followed up 4th Mar 2021: received email from FA Removal on legal proceedings for negative review on Google 10th Mar 2021: followed up 17th Mar 2021: followed up and spoke to Franck, sent the invoices for insurance claim submission 18th Mar 2021: received email from Paul that he is looking into this and that the paperwork is 'ready' 22nd Mar 2021: followed up as insurance claim has not been submitted 23rd Mar 2021: followed up 25th Mar 2021: followed up 8th April 2021: followed up 13th April 2021: followed up 14th April 2021: followed up, spoke to Franck, who mentioned he was 'sick' which is causing delays in the paperwork submission (the very paperwork that was 'ready'). He said it will be done by Monday first thing 19th April 2021: followed up, spoke to Franck, he said it will be done the next day 20th April 2021: followed up and submitted formal notice to issue proceedings with the UK County Court 26th April 2021: Spoke to Franck on the phone who said it will be actioned next day as he was 'busy' 27th April 2021: Followed up, no response 28th April 2021: Spoke to Franck in the morning and he claimed he had something 'urgent' on the 27th April, it will be done by close of business 28th April 2021: As of 7pm 28th April 2021, no outgoing interaction with the insurance company has been initiated 29th April 2021: Spoke to Franck, he mentioned his aim is to do it on Friday, the 30th April 2021 30th April 2021: Outgoing insurance claim has not been filled. 3rd May 2021 - 7th May 2021: Made over 20 phone calls in the week, calls to mobile phone went to voicemail and calls to landline were blocked 12th May 2021: Sent second formal notice with our intention to issue proceedings with the UK Country Court 13th May - 29th May 2021: Made several calls to Paul and Franck, these were all blocked 30st May 2021: Connected with Franck over the phone, who committed to callback after the bank holiday weekend. We did not receive the call. 7th June 2021: Connected with Franck over the phone to query on the insurance claim status, he mentioned the delays are due to 'internal issues'. He made a committment that the insurance claim will be submitted by closed of business Tuesday (8th June 2021) 9th June 2021: Submitted proceedings with UK Country Court The recent response on fragile items is not true, in fact, these were just a few clothing items which took the team less than 10 minutes to pack. For this extra 10 minutes, we had to pay a surcharge of 100gbp. Update, we have received notice of pending prosecution from FA Removal on the 4th March 2021, following this review.

Fine, but not worth the money and definitely not top class as claimed I want to preface this review with an understanding that I wasn't necessarily unhappy with the service I received, but the price didn't, in my opinion, reflect the quality of service. We moved house at the end of March, 2021. FA Removals sent over a chap about a month before to survey our property and provided a price for the move, including supplying packing materials. At this point, it would have been helpful to know that that didn't include any bubble wrap or anything to wrap furniture in - that was an extra cost apparently not described by "packing materials" so if you do use them, be prepared to pick up loads of bubble wrap. On the day, the movers arrived a little late having been on an extremely late job the night before. Not a problem in and of itself, but it meant that without mine and my wife's help, we wouldn't have got out of our property in time. The vans they arrived in were in a terrible condition. One had a lift, which didn't function, and the other was just a bit knackered. Both had a few of the driver's other deliveries in, so we didn't get the benefit of the full space. The chaps who came in the vans were very nice, very helpful, but not terribly professional. They moaned about who tired they were the whole way through, and this again led my wife and I to assist them. The response I had from the office on this was that they would never ask you to assist. Well, if they had turned up fresh and on time, we wouldn't have had to. Our stuff was eventually crammed into the two vans. As the lift wasn't working, they had trouble getting one of our plants in resulting in a huge trail of soil being left across the car park. When we arrived at the new place, we were cajoled into getting into the new house quickly so they could leave for their next job. Because of this, I ended up carrying half of the stuff upstairs, and because they didn't put any protective anything down anywhere. In the end, we got them to put everything in the living room just so they could leave. A few items were damaged, in particular those items that were apparently not covered by "packing materials", so a couple of tables were scratched, and a handmade wooden stand completely broken. It should be noted that I raised all of this with FA and, after some argument, they provided a small refund. This might account for the price of repair of our furniture, but it. Note, unmentioned is that if you claim on their insurance for items that they damaged, YOU, the customer, will have to pay the £250 excess... So, we successfully managed to move without too many issues or dramas. I ended up doing a lot more work than I'd expected considering the money I was paying for a moving company. The damaged items are potentially repairable, but I certainly wouldn't pay THEIR excess to deal with it. What bothers me most, however, is that they claim the following: "We are an A Star Rated Removal Company so we always deliver what we say we will We are one of the only companies to offer Goods in Transit Insurance and Business Insurance up to £70000 We have a customer satisfaction rate of 98% (One of the highest in the industry)" This was not A Star Rated service. Given the quality of the vans, it was more like a C. The £70,000 insurance was optional, which I only found out when I wanted to claim. And I can't honestly believe the 98% satisfactory rating, unless the guys who did our move were the B team.

Avoid Avoid Avoid at all costs. A removal company that are unreliable, inefficient and are frankly a bunch of cheats. Booked a date and approximate time for a packing and removal service with Brie who only wants to say yes to you and secure your business. Was told only 10 boxes would be needed for a delicate pack when a review was done a few days ahead of the move day. My time slot was around 2pm but I was I was told there was going to be a bit of a delay due to the previous job not having keys received. 3 hours later I called Brie to ask what was happening. I was then told the team were on their way and wouldn’t be too long. I asked for a specific time and how far away the team was to be told not far and they wouldn’t be long. It was now 5pm and dark outside. The team arrived after 6pm! I totally understand it wasn’t the teams fault but was most upset when the team explained that they had travelled from Harlow and had only left at 5pm (my move was from south east London to only 10 mins down the road) and that my move now would take too long and maybe it would be best to complete it the next morning. They told me if they started the move it would not be completed till 1am! I had work the next day which could not be rearranged but the team assured me it would be better this way and it made sense as it was super dark and they had not even started to pack. However the “manager” then called who started to shout down the phone telling me the team were not in any position to make these decisions. It was now nearing 7:30pm and nothing had happened. I was exhausted and hopes of being in my new home were now diminishing. The “manager” finally agreed to what the team were saying and it was decided the team were to return the next morning . If I knew the team were traveling from Harlow at 5pm I would have cancelled them but i was not made aware of this and had already paid in full for my move. The same team arrived as expected the next morning. I was hoping to be in my new home after work but arrived at my old flat 4 hours later to see that there was still a lot to do. They were having difficulty with moving my sofa which is a beast but the previous removal company managed to get it in and once I’d arrived I helped them figure a way to get it out. It was now again getting dark as it was approaching 4pm. 7.5 hours had passed by and I was still not in my new home. To top it all off the team refused to move the last few boxes until I had spoken with head office who requested for additional fees to be paid. Additional fees were for the extra boxes and additional time. This was ridiculous. I was being charged a further £500 on top of what I had already paid. There was another heated discussion with Steve (yet another manager) which took another hour. It was now 5pm and the team still needed to move me and unpack. I gave in a paid as I just wanted this rotten experience to end. Myself and my partner helped unload our things for a speedier move in and it was my partner who took the sofa apart to move it into our new home. The team left at about 7pm! So overall a really hideous, inefficient, inexperienced company with terrible communication. I found a box when unpacking that was part of the additional charge that contained rubbish of empty bottles and empty food packaging. A bunch of scammers to avoid at all costs!!!!!

My 85 year old parents employed FA Removals to move their contents from a house into a residential flat some 100 miles away, obviously a very big move for them. My father had been planning it for some months & everything was sorted out & ready to go before the move date. The agreement was that FA Removals would arrive 9-10am with two men & a 3.5t Luton van to begin packing their belongings. My father received a phone call that morning to say they had been delayed because they did not have any boxes but should be with them about lunchtime. Lunchtime was the time my parents had expected to ready to be leaving the house for the start of their move. By 3.30pm FA had still not arrived you can imagine my parents were panicking by this time they both have health problem, my father with current breathing & previous heart problem, they could certainly had done without these problems. It was very fortunate that the new buyers were not moving in that day because that would have been a real problem for them. My wife phoned FA but got the same answer that they had been waiting for boxes, this is a removal & packing company how can they have run out of boxes!!! She was told that they were on their way & that they were now sending four people rather than the original two. By 5pm I phoned wanting some answers, apparently they had by now received the boxes & that they would be there by 5.30pm & that there would now be six people. I asked why they could not have just gone down to a local supplier such as a storage company & purchased some boxes but was told that they could not do that - amazing. Finally FA arrived at my parents’ house around 5.30pm (over 8 hours late), items were then just loosely wrapped & put in boxes which as worrying. The house was finally emptied at 8.30pm. What on earth would have happened if the new buyers had wanted to move in that afternoon? The original plan, was for my parents, to get away after the house was emptied. They would then vacuum up & to drive over to a pre-booked hotel near the motorway mid to late afternoon, which would give them plenty of time to have a meal & a relaxing night’s sleep ready for their onward in the morning. Meanwhile their furniture & belongings would go into storage overnight & be taken to the new flat in the morning, I was at the flat to meet the van. By 8.30pm my father was now faced with a drive in the dark which he does not like doing, they had had nothing to eat since breakfast. They arrived at the hotel at about 9.30pm, very stressed, having got lost in the dark & the dining room was by that time closed. They were able to order a sandwich in their room but it was nearly 11pm but the time they sat down to eat!!! How could a company treat them like this?? The following morning did go ok, they arrived on time, they were quite efficient but one small table was badly scratched & a model car broken. Predictably the company denied that they had damaged anything. In response to your reply. The email confirmation was from FA Removals at the same address, with your same logo. The date was 11th Jan this year I am disappointed that you do not recall it as I would have thought it would also have been a major event for yourselves as well.

We booked FA removals for a five bedroom property to pack up contents and complete the move. When making the original enquiry I had submitted a video tour of the property so they could fully assess the size of the job and allocate labor accordingly. When accepting there quote, which was not the most competitive we had received but decided that we did not want to be let down on the day so felt that a higher price would offer some form of security for us. When accepting the quote we had contacted the member of staff in charge of admin informing them that as all four properties in the chain were all very local to each other then completion would happen early on the day of moving and we would be required to vacate the property by 11am we would have to start the move by 9am , this was put to them on two separate occasions and both times we were assured that this would happen. On moving day one member of staff arrived at 9am upon contacting FA removals I was told that the remaining staff would not be arriving until 10.30am half an hour before we were due to vacate , the lady's answer ' were we sure we had to vacate by then?' FA told us they had no other staff to assist in the move . They were expecting 3 people to empty a 5 bedroom property in 30 minutes. Both myself and my wife then had to become involved in moving property, the new buyers removal company arrived at the property expecting to move in and luckily they just decided to pitch in and help take apart the beds , a service we had paid FA for , and I must say they generally managed the remaining removal of items, we were so thankful to the other removal company that we have them £250 for the massive difference they had made. Upon arrival at the new property things were much the same with myself once again becoming a fourth unpaid member of the staff helping with the unloading to ensure that we were finished sometime before midnight. We had paid FA removals to reassemble four beds at the new property they managed one whilst we completed the other three in the same time . The remaining two members of staff , one had to leave early, left the property at 20.45 , without our loading/unloading bed assembly lord knows what time or even day they would have left. It appears to me that FA removals decided to save as much money as possible on this move by severely holding back on labor, I must point out that the 3 colleagues that were present for the move were not only very hardworking but also very pleasant but we're let down by not being provided with sufficient labor. Whilst speaking with the admin female member of staff during the day expressing my disappointment with how the move was progressing i had asked for her 'manager' to contact me to talk through the issues but he must have decided that this was not something he wanted/was able to do. Moving house is a very difficult time and don't make it worse by hiring the service of FA removals.

If i could i would have given 0 stars. They almost turn me down the night before, i did recieve an email at 2030 saying that they did they to call me all day unsuccessfully and so they assumed that i was not moving anymore (i did receive no phone call at all day and i had the phone on me costantly). But, we agreed that the moving was taking place the next day, and when we double checked the address they had someone else address. They time agreed between 0900 and 1000, at least they were on time. Next surprise the three guys sent for the removal didn't speak any english at all... Good start. Between sigarettes brakes, first 45 min mealbreaks and 1 fight... Yes, 2 of them had a verbal fight and 1 disappear for 25/30 minutes, while the other 2 went smoking into the van calling "the boss" to sort out the situation. Ok they are back to work and imbetween numerous breaks for sigarettes eventually i had the call for the keys around 1630 (they are still packing the van with the last few things). 1645 finally i am at the property, no trace of them, around 5 they turn up asking about the nearest moneygram to send money in Romania and disappeared for other 35/40 minutes, just to come.back with a box of chickhen wings and a coke. Around 2200 i i recieved a call from the company asking me why the moving was taking so long, after my explanation, for them, i was the problem. The guys at the phone says that "math doesn't add up" because 2 mealbreaks and 2 hours (rough estimate) sigarettes brake don't justify that much time. At the end of a long day at 2230 and various phone call, the guys have been told not to leave my property untill i had the money sent and picture taken of my phone showing the payment made saying that he send me three experienced guys to do the job (but actually 1 of them was on his first day they told me). Long story short, what they say they will do during the survey, they will do half of it. Quoting their answer below, it is just a bunch of lies. 1) Michele send several email for the deposit never sent that "SHE" was aware of, Michele is not a lady, its its me a 34yo male that never sent any email to them my wife did, but not for that reason, so "lady michele" who you speak to the phone must be someone else, or a lie. 2) the deposit has been paid the 30th of august and my bank had never had any issue with my payment. 3) michele "the lady one" never called the office angry asking for help, i did call them because, as i said in my review, they let me down the evening before. 4) FA removals never sent any other company to do my moving because FA removal van show up that day, and at the phone they never mention a different company. Even if FA removals states that another company has been sent am i entitled to have my deposit back? Ps everything i said is backed up by pictures and screenshot. FA removal better be honest with people.

This is the worst removal Company I have ever come across! They came schedule on time for my removal by 9am only to find that their team of people they sent saying will not dismantle my furniture and saying they are being paid too less money! I told them it’s nothing to do with me and speak to headoffce who u called. Nearly 2hrs went past still they haven’t started to move my furniture while u wait. Finally I was told they sendingnew people for the removal and will be there by 1pm, than told 2pm and finally they arrived 15.45 pain the afternoon neaely 7 hrs late! I told them how they going to move all my stuff but I was told don’t worry will be done I have sent 3 menaa agreed. But only 2 men did the work while the other sat in car! Finally at 8pm we left my old house to travel to new house. We got there around 10.30-11pm at night. I told them new neighbours will Complain as no removal company moves at night plus to re assemble all my furniture the noise. They said oh it will be fine. They didn’t finish the assembling left in a rush with half done job. Had to call again and next day came to finish assembling. My family had taken day off work to help me move but it was all a waste as the removal company let us down. No where I have ever heard to arrive 7 hrs late! I argued with them and was offered only £50 discount after arguing further was only able to get £100 discount which is nothing for the damages they have caused! Than to make matters worst my tv bed has been damaged! Been chasing for the last 3 months the company to pay damages and their insurance company and still not resolved properly! I’m frustrated and angry with this company as thought they are professional company but they are really not! Now I cannot believe they are coming up with below comment saying I didn’t have a contract to dismantle and reported my tv damage weeks later? Which is all incorrect I have my contract which includes dismantle service and have all emails etc for evidence. Unprofessional company as soon as my review went up they contacted me and offered me money to remove my comments (I have evidence to support this) as I refused and asked for only what I am owed and that I’d rather people see my honest review they were not happy and making up story below. The manager Paul keeps changing his story and now won’t even pay what I am legally due (they are holding my insurance claim funds which should be paid to me as Insurance has settle agreement with them.) I am taking matters legally with this company. I cannot believe instead of just accepting what they did they will go to this extreme to make up story as I didn’t remove my comment.

UNRELAIBLE COMPANY _PLEASE AVOID I booked FA removals and paid 460 pounds deposit 23 days before the move. I had booked packing and removals. I first got concerned when I called the company to enquire about the time when the packers will come to do the packing. I was told that they will come between 2-3 pm a day before the move on the 29th June-21( the move was on 30th June). That there will be 2 people who will attend. I was extremely concerned about this as I was not confident that they will be able to pack every thing -(4+1 Semi- family of 4 -living in the house for over 10 years) in half a day. When I expressed concern and reflected on some of the negative reviews I was told by Paul Williams that he is worried that I will be bad for their reputation and that FA removals will not do my removal . This was a few days before my move and I had to request and plead not to cancel and when I said that we will pack clothes etc Paul said that "that's the response I was looking for" We had paid for a full packing service !!! All this had made me concerned that the company had overbooked and did not have capacity to move the number of bookings they had made . My worst nightmare came true 3 days before the move. On Sunday the 28th June they called me to tell me that my move has been cancelled citing Covid outbreak as a reason. Since then they have failed to give any evidence of the outbreak despite me requesting this They have failed to inform me how many moves they carried out on the 30th of June and on what basis they decided which moves to cancel In an email it was suggested that Slough Depot based moves were canceled- When I informed them that my move was based with their Dartford base not slough - they did not respond Initial email said that Deposit will be refunded in 14 days . I emailed them several times and then they said it will be refunded on 21st July I have been patient so far and have not yet received my refund I had a horrible move , with lots of damage and loss. The company has no complaints procedure - When Paul was threatening to cancel the move I asked him what's the complaint procedure he said "it is me - I am the manager -you complaint to me" They are not registered with an ombudsman or any regulatory body where you can make a claim. Please be wary of them -even if you have to spend a few hundred pounds more chose someone else -At least you get a service !!!

Avoid if possible. I expect Paul and Frank to comment on this in similar manner as with others but please use another service. If things go badly, they will not help you and it's a total disaster. This seems to be consistent across the reviews - and always the same way of responding by the owners. So better avoid any uncertainties and go with someone else. Here my experience: We moved into a flat and then into our new house. When moving to the flat first, we booked them for sufficient time over 2 days as advised by the company. Half of our stuff went to the new flat, the other half went to storage. However, the job they had on the 1st day ran over so they did not make it. They then were late on the 2nd day as well (traffic.....). This predictably ended up in a total disaster with all being late, things needed to get rushed and few items that were broken. The guys moving also had insufficient tools to move our bed. I had to get someone in the next day (for £200) to take the bed over to the new flat. Paul (or Frank) called me in the evening - while the job was not yet finished - and told me i have to transfer all the money now, reminding me in no uncertain terms that i would better do that as i will have things in their storage - a gentle reminder that i should better do as they tell.... At least: FA removal subsequently re-imbursed the broken items. Before the 2nd move i wanted to go and get something out of storage. In contradiction with the storage agreement however this was not easily possible. On the day of the 2nd move, all went smooth - i.e. all boxes arrived in our new house (from our flat and the storage). However, there was a bad surprise waiting for us: once we started to open up the boxes from storage we noticed that dozens of items were totally broken. Also, the guys managed to bring a box out of storage that did not belong to us (this was picked up later). I tried for months now to get into contact with Frank and Paul to claim insurance for the items broken. They both sent me around the houses (Frank was sick or off apparently, Paul not in charge, Frank not in charge, Paul then off etc. etc.). I sent pictures and videos with the daamage. However, they simply stopped responding and no re-imbursement was done.

I am unsure why FA removals have received 4.4 star rating. I can hands down say this has got to be the worst removal company I have ever used. As a business we required two meetings room full of office furniture to be dismantled and taken to our storage unit. I’d booked three man and a van between 2pm-3pm they turn up at 3.15pm, not a great start. Before I booked FA removals I told Franck we had height restrictions to gain access to our court yard. He replied that’s not a problem, we will park on the road. Whilst packing up our belongings they received a parking ticket, the driver told me we would have to pay for it. I spent around 30mins of my time on the phone to Franck (who I believe is the owner) I explain to him prior to our move that we had height restrictions and therefore your driver has parked there at his own risk, anyway we ended up paying the fine as Franck was being very unreasonable. Back to the job, all I can say out of the three guys that was put on this job only one was working , the other two were standing around smoking cigarettes. I made the removal guys aware that the whole job needs to be completed by 5pm as our storage unit closes, they didn’t seem to be in any hurry. In the meantime, I headed to the storage to sort out the paper work. The three men turn up at 5.15 meaning I have to pay to gain access after hours. Also I felt very uncomfortable being in the company with one of the three guys, he didn’t speak English and kept making odd hand gestures/eye contact. Finally the job was finally completed at 6.15. The driver asked for me to speak to Franck and confirm the job was done. Franck requested for payment I told him once the invoice was received we would process. Due to the CEO being out on business for the nearly 2 weeks be were reaching the PCN. I explain this to Franck a number of times and assured him that payment would be made. On day 14 Franck called the office and was very rude to two member of staff and myself stating that our invoice will now be reissued with an extra £130 I explained that we had until the end of the day to make payment, but we have made the payment this morning. Before he rung me he hadn’t checked the bank – This company are rude and unprofessional DO NOT USE.

We used FA removals for our move in December. It was a pretty straight forward move as it was only furniture from a 2 bedroom flat (we had moved all the boxes ourselves and smaller items ourselves) and the new flat being just around the corner. The agreement was three men and a van. Only one man turned up on time (9am). After one hour, we received a phone call from the boss explaining that the other two had called in sick and asking whether we could A) do the move with just one man or B) do it another day. Unfortunately we were unable to agree to either as there was a reason behind both the date and us needing movers to do the heavy lifting. Around 12 noon another guy turned up. While the first guy looked like he had tried moving furniture before, the second one looked more like he was a random mate who had been dragged in to help... After 6 hours they had finally managed to pack the van and drove the stuff around the corner to our new and newly refurbished flat. While carrying the furniture in, the staircase and bannister inside the flat took a heavy (unnecessary)beating with relatively big pieces of wood coming off the bannister. Finally they finished around 6.30pm and I was asked to check if anything was left on the van. I was then handed a mobile phone and a guy claiming to be a representative of the company asked me to give him my credit card number over the phone and make the payment for the move there and then in the street! A long discussion followed as I am not inclined to give my card details to random people over the phone and insisted on making the payment via bank transfer. Of course I understand that they would like to get the payment straight away, but this is not the way to do it. I would rather have paid cash (had I know beforehand). We subsequently discovered that our desk was damaged during the move and a sofa bed put together incorrectly (luckily before anyone sat on it as otherwise could have gone wrong). I have given FA removals two stars for the quick quote and the guy who turned up first and single-handedly carried most of the furniture downstairs. Although we were unable to communicate, he seemed like a very nice guy.

Whilst the customer service was fantastic, the actual process of removing and going to the new property was horrible, stressful and just very poorly planned. We paid for them to do absolutely everything but we had to help packed the items (this was how poorly planned they were). They came on the first day to pack end up finishing the day not completing the packing, packagers were in a rush to go back to London. Second day planned to load but end of packing (turned up late). Bare in mind most properties complete by 14.00 these guys were packing till late afternoon (luckily our estate agents held off the new buyers of the property) To sum it up they finished unloading by 00.15 at the new property, some damaged goods which needs to be discussed with them overall a horrible experience and would NOT recommend...very disappointed sadly. Oh and also on the day of leaving the main lorry turned up late...you couldn't make this up!!! UPDATE: From your reply clearly you weren't listening to me in the first place...not my parents...in laws. If there were more then why weren't we charged, as that was clearly stated? Or are is just words like your guarantee of this would be a good experience for us? As per inventory less things were taken so please explain. Could you please also explain why the packers had to go at 17.30 when packaging wasn't complete? Even though the job stated day one pack and day two load the trucks? Rather then trying to argue with me, learn and develop a better process cause you won't win this one. This is a waste of my time like having you guys mover, HOWEVER when the guys finally got to the property they were bloody amazing, they worked their socks off even though planning from your side was a joke. Also I don't need to be more organised with moving as we were paying you to do the work, oh dear! Also fyi a toilet brush shouldn't we packed with clean towels lol

I had FA removals booked for my house move on a Tuesday with packing services on a Monday. On Sunday 6pm I get a call from Brie that the cannot do the packing service on Monday anymore due to staff sickness and will have to do everything on the Tuesday. When we had our intro call they said due to the amount of work needed that 1 day packing and removal was not recommended. After a lot of back and forth with promises from Brie that the work will be done, I spoke to management (Frank), he added another guy to the job for the Tuesday and said they would be out of the appartment by 3-4pm (we completed 11am Tuesday and they buyers Van was at the door at 1pm), I deemed that unacceptable. so my options where A. pay for another 2 guys for a total cost £480. after some more back and forth and I said I found another company to do the packing Frank suggested I could have a person from Monday evening 4pm to start the packing, I could not do the as I have a child and this would be very disruptive. so we agreed that I'd get the other company do the packing and FA do the moving. On Monday I call Brie to ask what my updated balance would be for the move, she called back and said that my outstanding balance would remain unchanged. I said this is unacceptable and Frank replied by saying they provided ample solutions and that its like that. I decided to choose another company to move my stuff and so I've lost my deposit. to recap it was either pay £480 extra for 2 guys or get only 1 packer in at the evening that would not get much done and was an inconvinience, pay the full amount anyway because hey ho I cant do anything about it or loose the deposit. I do imagine if things go well they would be a great company but in case of a global pandamic and people get ill you'll get options that might not work for you and you are royally at the mercy of Frank and his boss

We used FA Removals recently and I'd give them 3.5 stars. The quote was exceptionally competitive and they were very good when quoting and following up, Paul is an asset to the company. We decided to go with them given the fact they were so much cheaper than other removal firms who had quoted. The team turned up when they said they should on the day and packed up our belongings and moved everything. The van wasn't big enough so 2 moves were needed but everything was still done by 3pm which was appreciated. I would say, they were careful with our furniture however the packing left a bit to be desired. Literally things were just chucked in boxes; I found our draining board in one box which still had everything left on it- glasses, plates, knives. It hadn't even been wrapped in bubble wrap and the labelling of boxes was also basic at best. We also found things like glasses all stacked into each other and wrapped up- needless to say we lost several to breakages. Having used packing services before, I did expect a bit more from them. You get what you pay for though I suppose. The movers were polite enough although didn't speak much English and did like to have quite a few breaks for a good 30mins at a time. But again, I suppose breaks are needed when doing heavy lifting. Also to reiterate another review I read; getting passed a phone at the end of the job by a burly bloke and being asked for immediate payment was a bit alarming. This isn't reflected in the job confirmation email and luckily I had mobile banking set up so I was able to do it. I'm not sure I would have been happy to read my card details over the phone to settle the balance. So a mixed review I'd say. They were very competitive in terms of price and were quick but I think in future, I might be inclined to pay a bit more and use a company that I've used before.

Do not use this company!!! We chose to book a packing/removal company to try to remove some of the stress from the moving experience, but instead they made the whole thing SO horrendous that I spent most of the day in floods of tears. To highlight just a few things as if I list everything it will be an essay: • On the removal day, having arrived late, the team took about SEVEN hours to pack our things. This meant that we were three hours late to leave the property, therefore breaching our contract which could have had serious implications • Despite the fact that a survey was conducted to calculate the packing materials/van/labour needed, there wasn’t space in the van for all of our items – we therefore had to wait for a further hour and a half for another van to be sent • The way the boxes and van were packed was laughable – we witnessed our items literally being thrown into the van – photo attached showing the ‘care’ taken with our belongings • Communication and customer service was terrible throughout. I received no apology for the service received and instead got an aggressive email which blamed the heatwave on the day we moved for the issues…the heatwave ended two days before we moved. So in conclusion, if you want to breach your contract, have your items damaged, and have considerable stress added to the removal experience then go with FA – otherwise I suggest you stay far away!

Overall the service was extremely poor and unprofessional. The 2 workers that came with the van were very abrupt and rough. Although they were 2 in number but only one of them (Person A) was able to assemble the things as the second guy (Person B) had no clue what to do and dropped beds panels with a bang. On top of that, this guy used foul language in the premises of our home in the presence of my young minor aged child. He also repeatedly went out to sit in the van and use his phone leaving the other guy all alone. The (Person A) kept saying we need to leave as soon as possible as he has not slept for 25 hours back driving back from Scotland. Thoroughly unprofessional and rough guys who were rushing things. This is what my fear had been since booking few weeks ago. I can now understand the reason FA Removals call customers to chase for the remaining amount even before the job has been done as they know their standards and don’t trust their own removal workers. It’s not only that l, they caused damage to the furniture, and also caused marks and scratches at the new home during removals. Extremely poor !!!!! Couple of my acquaintances had asked me recently about FA removals company as they wanted to hire for their moves, but with this unpleasant experience and bad service, I have already informed them to not to bother contacting FA Removals. NOT recommend at all!!!

  • Dan Holmes

Do not recommend. We decided to use FA Removals to make moving house less stressful, in fact they made it more stressful and we had to pay for the pleasure. Totally unreliable. I want to ensure this review does not reflect the actual removals guys that did the manual labour on the day, they worked extremely hard, were polite and respectful. This is aimed at FA Removals head office. FA Removals matched a quote to pack and remove our house after an in person house visit so they were well aware of the size of the job. They were supposed to send round a packing team the day before our move between 2pm-8pm which did not happen. I was then told to ensure the packing was done in time they would be arrive at 8am latest on the day of the move. Multiple times I was guaranteed the removal would be finished by 3pm. The team arrived at 10am. They could not finish the job in time for 3pm which we had agreed so my brother, my wife and sister in law had to to the packing of the kitchen and pantry which we were quoted £325 for. We were not out of our house until 16.30. FA Removals still wanted the full amount quoted, even though they do not do the job quoted. We received £100 off the total bill only (when it should have been £325).

I had to give 1 star because I couldn’t leave none I paid this company £700 to move a 2 bed flat with barely anything in it 15 minutes drive down the road They sent a clapped out van with 2 guys that couldn’t lift a washing machine between them. They turned up nearly 2 hours late, and took 5 hours to load but only 2 hours to unload. Brought no tools to take apart anything (a service they said is provided) Told me they wouldn’t unload my property at the new house unless I paid the remainder of the removal in full after complaining of damage already and how long it was taking the removal to take. They wrecked a newly decorated flat, damaged my property. Tried to claim on their insurance for the damage they had caused and was told that after 3 months the insurance didn’t feel there was a claim. I had to get an appliance company out to repair the washing machine that they had ripped the seal off of, was told they will only cover £24 of a £65 bill that their employees had broken! I very much doubt they have insurance. Have been dealing with Ms Amy Young for the last 3 months to try and resolve this. Today told they aren’t going to pay out for any of the claim Avoid at all costs Taking this further legally

  • Duncan Haines

The quotation was very competitive and the sales guy very assuring, they took all the details from their site visit and we went with their advice on number of vans/boxes/removal men etc. I would not recommend or use again for the following reasons: 1. Prepacking - they arrived at 3pm the day before the move as opposed to the 9am 2. The didn't have enough boxes to pack all our stuff in so bought more on the day we were moving. 3. They were short staff, had I not been packing and loading the van we would not have been out in time 4. They didn't have enough space in their lorries to accommodate our goods so we were not completely moved out in time and had to pick up the rest at a later point 5. Half way through unpacking they stopped and demanded payment of the balance of the moving costs. This was very aggressively done and they were clear they would not unpack anymore until the funds were received. 6. A number of items were damaged and despite saying they have insurance, I have never been able to receive any payment. I have contacted them a large number of times by phone and email and despite assurance this was being dealt with nothing has ever been received.

Used FA Removals to move my flat furniture from a storage locker to a new house in early January 2021. Overall the experience was very good. On the day of the move our movers arrived bang on time and got to work. Very efficiently, packing our entire locker (100 sqft) in an hour or so into the Luton Van. When arriving at our new house with the same efficiency our movers unloaded into the appropriate rooms, we were done in under 3 hours which beat our expectations. A great experience at an excellent price, so highly recommended. Points worth pointing out so FA Removals can improve, an already good service. Is communication, in my experience the initial quote was easily handled over the phone and email. Due to some complications with completion dates we had to shuffle dates around. There was some confusion when confirming the new dates and times, where i had to call a couple of times which made me lose a bit of confidence. However, at the end of the day everything turned out great so a minor inconvenience at best. To clarify it would not stop me from recommending or using FA removals again.

UPDATE: Frank and his team are REFUSING to make a claim on our insurance after 5 MONTHS!! The only way to get their attention is through these reviews. They are making excuses (sick, busy week, limited resources etc). Awful, awful, awful. But we won't stop until they rectifying what they damaged. Horrendous! BE AWARE!! This is the worst company you can use to move. I wish I was able to give them 0 stars. 1. They change the agreed price the day before the move and threatened to cancel, after we paid the deposit. Very bad customer service and rude on the phone, especially Frank. 2. On the day the guys who actually done the job damaged MOST OF OUR FURNITURE ITEMS. Every furniture item is either chipped or has scuffs. They do not use proper protection. They chipped our table that was bought for almost £1000. And the journey was less than 10miles. 3. We have contacted the Removal ombusman and it turns out they are NOT part of it!!!! They are very bad, don't be fooled by the initial pleasantries. Do yourself a favour and use someone else.

  • Glyn Berry

We moved yesterday and used FA Removals and we're really happy with the service provided. Booking was a simple process and the lady who took the booking was very pleasant. We had been advised that it could be two trips which was fine. The two guys who came to do the the removal were on time and really nice and very hard working ( I'm really sorry that I never got their names but one guy was Romanian and the other guy had just been in the job for a week) and they made the move much less stressful. One of our sofas was too big to go into the planned room and they tried every way to get it in but we just moved the rooms around and it was all good. They never stopped for a break once, the only time they stopped was when they got into their van to drive between the properties. Nothing was broken, they were respectful, friendly and just got on with doing their job. If we moved again, we would definitely use this company again. Thank you for all your help

  • uxm sajjad

Really bad experience. The movers reached the destination, and reversed into my car causing significant damage. One of the movers was already outside the van and didn't even bother to give instructions to the driver. I was in the car myself, jolted but thankfully not hurt. Since then they have been saying on the telephone that I should get them a quote for car repair, however have not given me anything in writing and havebkot responded to emails nor given me any insurance details. Hence have had to go through insurance now Also damaged the wooden floor of the flat I moved out of while dismantling my wardrobe. They were extremely rough with the wardrobe and have caused deep scratches to the floor which the landlord is getting replaced and asking me to bear the costs of. The manager says they can offer me 40£ for covering the damage to the floor. What a joke, thinking about taking them to small claims court.

  • Amy Ruffell

Moving is always horrible, but yesterday's would have been a heck of a lot worse, not to mention more expensive, if we hadn't had FA Removals on our side. I booked two days ahead of the move because of a last minute completion date change. The communication with Franck was swift and great, they quoted me without a site visit because we had no time (I did provide a thorough inventory) and Lucien and Julian did a fantastic job moving all our stuff with a friendly and helpful manner. We had a very stressful wait because the vendor had not vacated the property and I was charged exactly in line with what I had been quoted for waiting time and it was STILL cheaper than all of the other removals companies I had been quoted by when I was searching and I approached a lot of companies. Free wardrobe boxes and two extra guys turned up to help at the end. Extremely good value for money, cannot recommend highly enough.

  • Lauren Underwood

Key points I would say: - no issues booking the removals or the work the guys did. - was given a time of 9am-10am to move items from a storage unit. 1 guy & van arrived at 10.30 & 1 guy & van arrived at 11.20. Everything moved into property by 6. - had to pay bank transfer to company before they unloaded the vehicles. - In contast paid a different company slightly less to do the original move from house to storage. Booked to arrive 8-9am, arrived 8.30. Everything moved into storage by 2.30. Paid in cash at the end of job to the movers themselves. - both sets of guys had a lunch break in this time, both i gave a bit extra as there were some heavy items. For the above reasons I doubt anyone would not pay the company in full regardless of service, as at that point they are holding your items. All I would say is I have had a much better experience elsewhere.

  • Jade Babet

Communication was not great, often emails go un replied to by Paul. On the day the movers were 45 minutes late, they did a good job mainly. I stated importance to both Paul and the movers about my mirrored furniture and having moved several times before this was never damaged. It was damaged, I wasn't notified. I emailed Paul, no response. Called, told to send pictures. I texted them over, was told to email, 3 weeks later no response so please don't let their insurance be a factor in choosing them. Also the movers tried to ask for 4 hours, despite taking a lunch break (we were waiting at the new property for them) and arriving late and it had only been 3 with all of that too. Everything else is forgivable but lack of response when you have an unhappy customer is not the way to go. Would not recommend and would not use again.

  • P Sh

Was initially hopeful with friendly staff in the office and providing an in person quote estimate - which seemed a really good price. Unfortunately this was too good to be true. On the day, the movers advised against taking my 6ft x 6ft wardrobe, but then announced there wasn’t enough room in the van (I’d cleared out loads since the quote estimate plus the wardrobe was being left). There were large items outstanding that needed to be moved from London to Manchester. FA Removals demanded £900 to send another van and take the rest of my stuff, with office staff acting like they were the aggrieved party when I said how unhappy I was. I’d paid for a fragile pack but when unpacking found fragile items and treasured keepsakes had just been chucked in a box and broken. Definitely do not recommend this company.

  • Tamara Rajah

Other families, please beware!! We moved 18 months ago. Items were damaged and we are STILL waiting for the insurance claims. One claim has finally been processed and now they are causing our money to be withheld as they haven’t completed one form. A second claim still hasn’t even been submitted! It’s impossible to get them to act, they give the runaround on the phone and don’t respond to emails. Or they promise to act and call back when they have and never do. Have written 30+ emails and the same number of phone calls. We have been beyond patient and the process is still ongoing. Avoid if you have any other options for a removal firm! (unless you are ok not making a claim or seeking compensation if for any reason your move doesn’t go exactly to plan)

  • Steven Loveday

I used FA Removals at the end of 2020 and had a nightmare. They initially sent the wrong vans from what was agreed, some of the staff were great but others were abusive and threatening. They then insisted I pay more as they had misjudged the size of the job (despite doing an survey). Then they left a load of stuff at the old house that shouldn't have been and finally they damaged approximately £750 worth of furniture. I was told that they would raise an insurance claim to cover the cost of the damaged items but its been 10 months now and they have simply stopped responding to my emails all together. I made a terrible choice in using FA Removals and would not recommend them to anyone else.

  • Jonathan Chason

This company emailed us at 0700 on the morning of our move to tell me that they were cancelling! They did not even provide the courtesy of a phone call and it was lucky I picked up the email. This caused a disaster on removal day as we could not get hold of vans. I appreciate that the owner has suffered during COVID, but this is all the more reason why the company should have contingencies in place and I am disappointed that this was mentioned as a reason for cancelling! If I had cancelled them, then the company would have kept our deposit, but the company have refused to compensate us…….What a poor show! Totally unprofessional and I would steer well clear of this company without doubt!

  • Marco Hafner

We agreed on packing and removal service. Initial survey was ok, provided a competitive price so we decided to do our end of stamp duty holiday move with FA Removals. On the day of agreed packing the call came saying it would be easier to do it all in one go on the day of moving. Then one day in advance got an email that our removal was cancelled. Not even the curtesy to call us for it but we had to chase them on what is going on. Had to organize packing and removal on end of stamp duty holiday on a one day notice. Cannot imagine what level of stress and pain this company has let our family go through. I would really pay a bit more and next time would go with a trusted company.

  • Alexandru Pielealba

In my experience, this company stands out from the competition. I put my details on a compare website and received 10 calls within an hour. Some of the companies were quoting over the phone, others wanted to come round. I found Franck from FA Removals very professional and asked him and 3 other companies to come round. Franck was very friendly and knowledgeable when I met him and I was already impressed by their online reviews so decided to give the job to FA Removals. The move couldn't have gone any better. The guys were on time, packed everything well and were very efficient. They were amazing. I've already recommended to a colleague at work.

Paul and Ade helped me move from Kent to Hampshire. Turned up on time and just cracked on with packing up the van. No quibbles at any point, just got on with it. Dismantled two double beds and a wardrobe. Everything was transported with care and they assembled the wardrobe and beds in the new location. Paul even assembled the beds twice as there was a mix up as to which went in which bedroom (my fault) and he just did it without any bother. Both chaps were really friendly and easy to chat to. Arrived just after me and got on with unpacking and building the bits of furniture. Really good price too, I would highly recommend these guys.

  • Alison Airey

I cannot fault this company from the initial call from the surveyor to assess and discuss our needs to the removal guys. Everything was done efficiently, professionally and was very organized taking all the stress away. Brie in the office was our main point of contact and she was both lovely and helpful but also highly efficient. As our furniture was moved into storage initially before being delivered to our new address we were serviced by two removal crews, each of which were great. They treated our possessions with care and were quick and efficient with both loading and off loading. I would highly recommend them.

  • Hanna Sarfo

I was pleasantly surprised with FA Removals. We booked a removal and storage combo and had a choice of storing at several of their depots. The surveyor was very efficient and we recieved our quotation within 24 hours. The communication from the service coordinators, well they went above and beyond for us. The removal men that moved us into storage, nothing was too much. The depot that we decided to store at in the end, was so secure. There was security on hand and I just knew without a doubt that my belongings would be safe. Photos pending in a later update once we do our second part removal. Thank you again

  • Oh, you Said that

This is now my 3rd move in the past 5 years, and I can say it gets no less stressful. FA Removals provided outstanding customer service, from the inhouse team, to an incredibly professional & methodical job from the team on the day, it was a seamless transition from my old property to my new one. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. On doing research, I saw that they have numerous branches nationally which aided in my decision as I knew I was getting a professional, legitimate company, and not a man-with-van situation. 10/10 service & aftercare. Attached photos for added benefit. Many thanks, Lynne Carter

  • David Gurd

Failed to turn up on removal date 28th june. Claimed an email was sent at 5am to explain , no email received. Rang their phone lines during 9-10am. Finally got through only to be told cannot do removal today due to staff isolating through covid. We had to ring round local removal companies to get us moved on that day. Finally found a man and a van + mate and myself to assist our move. We paid £800 deposit and after several emails and phone calls 3 weeks after our move we got our deposit back. Never once did we get an apology and i would never recommend Faremovals to anyone.

  • Mikołaj Manuszewski

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I really would. Nico helped me moved under extremely difficult circumstances (namely, the Blackwell tunnel being shut and throwing traffic in SE London into utter chaos). Through it all he and his team persevered to get my belongings to me as soon as they could. Nico and the team are extremely professional. They arrived on time, moved everything safely and even took care of my beloved plants. They were very friendly, even with how tedious the day became due to issues with traffic. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you FA Removals!

Great company. FA Removals provided us with excellent office relocation service. The estimator who was very friendly and knowledgable did an office visit at a convenient time. The office processed my booking and confirmed my details shortly. On the moving day, the guys arrived on time and completed our office move within six hours. We had many difficult items- heavy boxes, large furniture and large garden plants which had to be manoeuvered into some awkward spaces but the guys handed everything wonderfully. We would definately use FA Removals again.

My parents are moving house today (25 June). Have had a booking and paid for FA removals to move all their belongings 140 miles to their new home. At 8am today FA called my mother to let her know that all their vans were full so they wouldn't be moving her belongings today. How can people be allowed to cause this amount of stress to what is already one of the most stressful lifetime events people ever go through. I now have a very upset and stressed mother trying to arrange for another company to come today as they still have to move today.

We used FA Removals to move from London to Milton Keynes and they were absolutely fantastic. Harry came to survey the house and the office sent us a quote same day as we only had a week before our move. We ended up booking the packing as we were short on time and my husband and I both work. We dealt with Brie from the office and she was fantastic. Very attentive, patient and calming. The 2 men that packed, Jj and John were first class and the team that done the removal were excellent. Great service all round. Would highly recommend

Our move was a complete disaster with this company . They worked hard but to the point of rushing us which led to three large boxes being forgotten . The Lorry had an accident on the way to the new property , this was unfortunate and through no fault of their own but then our furniture could not be delivered until the following day causing much wasted time . Having now unpacked most of our belongings we are finding more and more of our belongings have been damaged or broken , causing much upset . Would not recommend at all .

We moved from London to Scotland in March and were terrified of the move. We looked really hard before deciding on FA Removals. The deciding factor was their surveyor who was a joy to have in the house. The girl i spoke to on the phone following the surveyors visit was very reassuring and made our decision easier. Thankfully we made the right decision and the move was as smooth as possible. Everything was habdled professionally and the my stuff turned up with no marks or scratches. I would definately recommend

  • Spiros Andriotis

Work was done well, but it lasted until midnight due to bad organisation on their side. They brought a large truck, which was impossible to park on our street despite having seen the property before the job. We were left to believe they will bring a luton van and had not reserved any space. As a result, they started 4 hours late and finished at midnight. Moving houses is in any case not a pleasant experience. In our case, it was made worse by FA removals. They offered compensation of £50 in return.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! It took 14 HOURS to move exactly 1 minute along the road. They damaged furniture and left a car load of stuff in the old house, which I had to retrieve the next day! They then harassed me at 11.30pm at night to pay the outstanding money else the men wouldn't leave! Have emailed a complaint letter with photographic evidence and have called many times since but have not been able to talk to the manager or had any reply re my complaint. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!

  • Lee J

Really disappointed with the service from FA Removals. I came to check my goods in storage today following their journey from London to Edinburgh. My possessions are well and truly trashed. It looks like boxes were thrown in the storage unit: boxes listed as fragile at the bottom of a stack of 4 other boxes, my mirror smashed, heavy boxes stacked on small boxes that have now collapsed. Really regret using them- stay well clear and pay a little extra for quite service.

  • P Cosme

We are extremely happy with the service we recieved from FA removals. We were given a few quotes from other companies and FA removals were by far the most competitive price we recieved especially after seeing the positive reviews. The customer service was really good and they were really patient and understanding over the phone. The men who did our removals were on time and worked hard and efficiently. Would definitely recommend and a 5 star service.

  • Felicity Shakespeare

Cancelled our move the day before. No help offered to find another removal firm, no contingency plan in place - nothing. Felt very let down indeed. We were lucky and found another firm to move us but I'm sure not everyone they let down that day was so lucky. How can you just treat people like that and call them your customers? I hope I get my deposit back soon. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. Bad show.

  • Lolly Akande

My first time using FA removals, I found out about the company via Google. Fantastic service which was vital as it was important for me to get my moneys worth. The men who moved boxes from my flat and also from the 'Big Yellow Storage' were very efficient, polite and considerate of my precious delicate belongings. (Not one piece of furniture broke or scratched) I would 100% recommend this removal company to a friend/family.

  • Adebolu Agunbiade

I had a good such a good experience with this company. They helped me when i was in desperate need. We were getting evicted and had to move last minute. Fa Removals were very reassuring and made a very stressful move as easy as possible. The guys that moved us were so friendly and professional that we were laughing all the way through our removals. It's good to know there are still companies like this around

  • Bentley Beacher

Good price with great customer service! My removal was booked in for Sunday 26th May. The time needed to be amended slightly by FA, but they told me well in advance. Paul’s communication with myself was clear and very efficient from the beginning of the work right to the very end. He was helpful and proactive with getting my booking done and made sure I was happy with the outcome of the service.

  • Lucy Markey

Arrived nice and early and provided an efficient delivery. Things were taking off the lorry with care and placed in the rooms requested. My favourite thing about this company is they weren't pushy. I completed an online quote form and Paul called me first, but after that did not harass me or call again unlike other firms. I still received junk calls from other firms 2 months after we had moved!

  • Priscilla Boa

Our family had the best experience with this company. They moved us at super short notice after we have been majorly let down by another removal company. The service was superb from start to finish and we are super grateful to FA Removals for undertaking our removals. On another note we have already recommended them to 2 of our close friends who are completing on their home in a few weeks

  • Mr Way Way

We had a big move from London to Scotland and hadn't moved for 20 years. The whole team at FA Removals helped us every step of the way. The surveyor was friendly and professional. The service advisor was helpful and easy to talk to and the team that did the job were incredible. We won't be moving again hopefully but we would use and recommend FA Removals if we did

  • Navneet Sahai Bhatnagar

We had a fantastic removal experience using FA Removals. Their price was extremely competitive and they were amazingly professional in packing and moving out items. They staff even went above and beyond to help get boxes and stuff down from the loft to move. Can't fault them. Will use them again without a second thought. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.

  • Quincey Wickham-hippolyte

I’ve moved home several times and have had mixed experiences so I knew what to expect. This company were by far the best I’ve used. Their team were exceptional from the surveyor to the lady that I dealt with the phone to their packing and removal men. They took care of all my belongings, were friendly and done everything I wanted. 5 stars all round

  • Mari-Elena Shelley

No one could match the price offered. Paul was really good to deal with, very efficient. They turned up on the dot and it was the best moving experience that I have had. The guys were great. They took such care with everything and couldn't have been more helpful. I'm very grateful as moving is stressful and they were brilliant. Highly recommended.

Really really good service from the team at FA Removals. Quick to respond, fair price. Showed up on time. Guys were friendly and knowledgeable on how to transfer the heavy stuff, what to take apart to look after them and then put it back together and dropped off boxes where we asked them too. Highly recommend them.

2nd time we moved with them. Very friendly, responsive, great value for money and very reliable professional team. Down side was that some of my plants got damaged on the last move and there could have been some added tender care to them but overall Will defo use their services again. Thank you! S&A …

  • Lynne Blair

This company moved me 4/5 Jan 2021 and they were terrible! Everything the sales man promised was such a pain to get honoured. They moved me over 2 days and the second day they arrived smelling of alcohol and were sniffing from the coke they were using. I paid a large sum for a very unprofessional service.

  • Peter Ayodele
