Was baptized there in 1994 as reaffirmation of My Faith. Was recruited to City in 1990 at the Late Thoms Natural on 23rd and Geary. Was very successful there thru 1995. Fell in love with (Faux) Redhead who was client. We left City late Summer 95, moved to Alameda. One warm summer nite, our daughter conceived. September, I took great Job Offer Charlotte, N. C. As Consultant one month turned into Management offer, thus returned to Alameda to move US out to North Carolina; plus one Cat and two dogs! Was successful there 14 months! Got big offer in Ft. Myers, FL. We Moved there until; 1997. Got bigger offer back In CA.. We moved to La Mesa, hiring Movers! They went bankrupt! I had to fly back and move our things. After short period, got better offer in Minnesota!! 3 state territory. Spent three years as Territory Manager. Laid Off, soon got offer in Malibu, CA; 2004.. I drove out To Work immediately. Job lasted thirty days! Got paid by old friend to rescue him! Wife said no! She, her Mother, our daughter drove out To San Francisco 2005.. Wife had me served With Divorce in July 2005.. She started attending First as "Single Mother"! Wah wah! I arrived City in September, without Job, or Housing. Three females in one bed Condo! Wife creates anti hubby campaign. A true church of Jesus Christ, where the word of the Lord Jesus Christ is preached like it is supposed to be delivered. FBCSF is a very sound and Christ-centered church that exhibits the grace of God in their preaching and practice. Every true church is characterized by people who have placed their faith in Jesus, repented from their sins, bear the fruits of repentance, and desire for others to do the same. God has His hand on this local church. The church practices kingdom generosity and has people who are characterized by Christian love. They demonstrate mercy and demonstrate kingdom generosity to the people of the Bay Area and the world, as disciples who have received the great mercy of God. If you want to find the word of Lord Jesus Christ preached like it is supposed to—not sugar coated or adulterated—then this is the place. The shepherds here are true and do not play games or fool around, demonstrating themselves to be people of the kingdom community who give hope to the hopeless, preparing sinners to meet God, walking down the difficult path that leads to salvation. We are either with God or against Him. The discussion questions convict me of my sins. The shepherds and disciples are very helpful in helping me deny myself to follow the way of Jesus.

I’ve been coming to FirstSF for over 4 years now and it’s still one of the best Churches I’ve ever been to! Everyone is so welcoming, and always has been even from the day I arrived. The staff, Pastors and volunteers all truly care about you and want to have you there. The sermons are amazing and always Biblically based. The worship is also just incredible! I especially love that questions are encouraged. I get to ask as many questions as I need about the faith to the Pastors and Staff and they don’t shy away from answering. If you are considering coming, you should totally do it!!!
