I recently visited the FordCity Mall, and while I don't want to come across as too harsh, there are some aspects that need addressing. So, this review might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I hope it'll be taken constructively. First off, the mall looks like it was last given some love back in 2011. Sure, it has some decent deals and stores, but it's pretty obvious that everything is outdated. From the outdated decor to the worn-out seating areas, the place screams for a facelift. It's like stepping into a time capsule, and not in a good way. The building's infrastructure is not doing it any favors either. I couldn't help but notice how it was constantly making weird noises. Now, I get that buildings creak sometimes, but this sounded like it might collapse any minute. I know that's an exaggeration, but it's a real concern that might not be comforting to shoppers. As for the shopping experience, it was a bit underwhelming. On the day I visited, the mall was mostly empty, which made it feel like a ghost town. I understand that the foot traffic might not always be high, but the lack of a vibrant atmosphere did impact the overall experience. However, it's not all doom and gloom. Not to mention the fact there is a foul odor that is most likely coming from the carpet. I did appreciate some of the stores and the deals they had to offer. It's just that the overall ambiance and feel of the mall need a serious upgrade. I think a little sprucing up and some modernization could breathe new life into this mall. Now, I hope this review is taken in the right spirit. It's not meant to be overly critical, but rather to highlight areas that could use some improvement. FordCity has the potential to be a bustling shopping hub, and with the right upgrades, it can attract more visitors and regain its charm. So, let's roll up our sleeves and give this place the makeover it deserves! This review is purely based on my personal observations and experiences during my visit. It is intended to provide constructive feedback to help improve the mall's overall appeal and attract more visitors.

I was sad and disappointed at this place. I have not been here since ten years ago. The atmosphere and the mall was different. I saw that the place was not exciting that it use to be. Many of the stores are gone like the gamestop, the Italian suit place, Champs and many other stores are gone. The people were not to excited to be there and it was less people at the mall then what it use to be. The mall was different of its design now then in the past. The bus stops are not in front of the entrance like it was in the past. When one enter in mall the food court there. I saw the lightning were dim not all the light bulbs in the mall are replaced with new ones. The mall does have more seats for people to sit down now. The mall does not have a basement for stores anymore its blocked off now. My experience here was sad and a disappointment here. I could not give this location a 5 or even a 4 rating. I hope for the future that management will bring back the excitement this place once had because this place is fading away.

This place needs an upgrade asap. I can't believe it's still open. There are hardly any major stores. There's a lot of the off brand and flea market like stores which is disappointing to say the least. They do have a Foot Locker, Journeys, and Children's place. The carpet is stained and smells like an old unkept nursing home. Not sure if they're trying to conserve electricity but it is not at all bright in there like a mall should be. There are quite a few stores that are not occupied so it looks like an abandoned mall overall....sad and neglected.

This place nowadays is just like a ghost town, acres and acres of parking lot just wasted... Too many stores are empty, and the whole place needs to be upgraded... Is nothing what it used to be back in the times. Ford City Mall should be turned into a Swaporama, and I bet you it will bring way too many people back again...️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️

Took the bus to the mall. When we reached the maal I looked and ask the bus driver is this the mall? She responded by giving me a look. To my surprise the mall looks abandoned!! JCPenney is the major retailer that's keeping the mall afloat!! There are some stores outside the mall, like ross, old navy, five below, and marshall's. Was not impressed and did not stay long.

Security yelled at my mom for taking my niece close to the fountain. Obviously she wasn’t going to dip her in the water just wanted to walk her around it. I confronted them for yelling and they said they just want people to buy what they need and get out. They don’t like people sticking around. How is this mall still open?

Make sure you know it's hours. My mom and I thought it opened at 10:00 a.m It didn't open until 11:00 a.m. We walked around for 15 minutes. The wishing well fountain is beautiful. We also decided to sit and get massages from the massage chairs by JCPENNEY. Stop at the food court for Chinese food. Very tasty. Good parking.

This mall is almost non-existent. Barely any stores there anymore. It was hard to see seeing after it use to be the best mall around and now it's like a ghost town. Very sad

This mall will be closing it's doors for good in the near future. Sad to see it go for good. Enjoy it while we can. There's not many stores left inside. …

This mall is deteriating at rapid speed. Brand name stores closed and these bootleg vendors taking over and the diversity has decreased...
