I had a bad experience this particular time and normally my experience are always great it's my favorite place to shop it always will be and still is however I purchased some items and spent almost $600 and glass globes at least 5 that had a particular price for $16.99 and when I got to the register they said it was $19.99 and I wanted the manager to honor the price that it said and that bothered me because when I go to other places if it's says one price they will honor it I was a little upset because when the supervisor I asked the question what if I cancelled the almost $600 order and it really didn't make much of a difference because he's just works there and if 10 people or more felt the way I felt jewels would loose money I purchased them anyway but next time I need my prices to be clear

What started off as a good idea turned into a nightmare because of the inability to make it to all the stores. It was not good planning to have public transportation so far away from the actual stores, and because of this inability or the hard times it takes to get to the store's, they are closing and leaving. I for one, will never shop at any Target ever again. That Target, was hard enough to get to without having to go to the other ones that are even further away. The Marshfield Plaza Mall, should have had public transportation going through and not around the mall. The (type), of stores that are left are just okay, and the managers at Jewel make you not want to shop there at all because they don't like The Neighbourhood nor the store.

Me and my girlfriend and her friend were at the jewels out at the Plaza mall yesterday dispense till was okay to pick up a few things cuz I had a toothache customer service of George was nice to customers that was nice in front of me since I'm your my girl up off visually impaired she's total and partial our friend was with us to help us around so we would have to ask for a PA and so we got everything we needed and we left some Outlaw Sprints was pretty nice

I like nice clean shopping environments and Marshfield Plaza delivers. This strip mall has everything and its located just off highway 57. If my workout runs late late and need to pick up dinner, there is lots to chose from. I can pick up groceries on the way to work or on the way home. I can even get a check up. I often grab shoes or clothes for special occasions. The shoppers and staff are polite and helpful. In fact security is everywhere.

It is great to see the transformation of this development. I have been going to many of the store since opening. However, I have also seen the detonation of stores not being ran professionally. I generally go in the morning so there is less traffic and ignorant people around. There is garage every where. There is parking concerns how everybody parks. I live near so it is convenient but if not for that I would not to any of the stores.

Marshfield plaza is joke. There is barely anything there at this point. Jewel, Burlington, dollar tree, lifetime. Jewel is absolutely horrible. I live in the area and drive past it to go to another one. They don't rotate stock, no matter how long the lines are they don't open up new lines. I can't be bothered. There just isn't enough draw for me to stop there or drive there. The options are few.

I use to absolutely positively love this place. I could shop here find nice quality, quantity clothing, shoes, accessories and things for the house in MY neighborhood. How disappointed I was to learn that mostly ALL the stores have disappeared with nothing to replace them. You want us to shop black but the rent becomes so exorbitant that the stores can't stay. WHY???

Great outside shopping center for your every day needs. From Target to LA Fitness to Jewels and everything else in between you can get everything you need in one whop.... there is free parking and they have so many handicapped spaces for accommodating the people that needs the space. There's also Chili's, subway, Wingstop etc. No need to leave the neighborhood

  • Michael Fenner

One of the worst Chili's in the city. Everyone is dragging their feet and look like their high. Young women with nasty attitudes swinging their fake hair over customers food. You can smell the dirt in the air.I absolutely would not bring my family here to dine or recommend Anyone to spend their money here at all. The worst experience ever. Absolutely

  • THERESA C (KARMIC STAR)

Great for just about all your shopping needs...there's a Jewel Osco, LA Fitness, Rainbow, Burlington, City Sports, Villa, Cosmos Beauty Supply, Pet supply store, Pizza Hut, Game Stop, Wing Stop and other spots that will satisfy your shopping needs. I walk here often to get just about anything I need. Great busy area and right off the bus stop.

Sadly, with the Target leaving, what was once a fairly nice place to shop is starting to look like many stripmalls on a downturn, with other major stores leaving and being replaced by small business ventures that don't seem to last. Like was there really a need for a 2nd beauty supply shop in virtually the same shopping center?

  • Rachel Coleman

Went after 9pm. The whole restaurant was dirty as ever. No one was cleaning the place. The washrooms were dirty. Broom and dust pan laid on bathroom floor. Our waiter didn't attend to us for about 10-15mins. When apps came we had neither utensils, napkins, nor plates or glasses of water. The whole experience was a disaster.

  • Jillian Barker Langford

It's not the prettiest location for such a nice shopping complex. The plaza itself has a Target, a Jewel, a Burlington, and various other small stores for clothing and beauty & hair supplies. There are also a number of fast food joints near the plaza. There may also be a gas station or two and bus stops.

No details but i do have 1 detail 2 share about that dollar store in marshfield plaza they keep ur receipts for their own taxes each customer that comes into the store they ask if u want ur receipt & if u say no they use it fraudjulently & for their own purposes 2 file fraudjulent taxes with ur receipt

  • Cherry

T-Mobile has been a nightmare. From beginning til now. Customer service is horrific (supervisors) included. I've been lied to, disrespected, sold defective products, along with a host of other unfortunate instances of disregard. Still waiting for supervisor to call me back. It's been 2 weeks.

  • Jacqueline Simmons

Nice one stop shop, with a variety of stores. There is a Target, Jewel - Osco, Dollar store, banks, and at least one sit down restaurant. One the other hand, the free parking area and the businesses get quite crowded at certain times on the weekends and some evenings during the weekdays.

  • Kesean Walker

Meh. This strip was @ one point was a nice part of the meh neighborhood but its kinda mediocre now. Target was removed. Petsmart or petco I think it was, is gon. It's pretty much like the same as the strip mall area on 87th st next to the Dan Ryan. So much for bringing the area up.

  • Sharon Thomas

I believe this was Jewel. The store is great and usually the service is, too. I went to the deli later in the day after work and encountered a snotty person. This negative experience won't change my positive view of this store, though. Sure it was an isolated incident.

  • Derrick White

It's not the plaza it's Target we need this store in our community! For some reason there top brass says the store doesn't make enough money in this minority area? But they are opening two new stores in another part of the city out of the reach of our communities.

  • Katrina Watts

Visited the Chili's restaurant and surprised they weren't social distancing considering Monkeypox and Covid-19 was on the rise. Workers seemed to be confused on what to do as well. The food was awesome and the bartender with the eye glasses was the bomb!!! …

  • Scott M

One of the cleanest la fitness in the city period!!!! The staff is okay and the machines are all working. The only problem is the weight area. If you come during busy hours all the dumbbell are taken by a few guy that want to talk instead of workout which sucks.

  • Jeannette Scholz

So far we have been to Jewel grocery store. On this day we visited Old Navy to purchase uniforms for our grandchildren who will be headed back to school soon. Old Navy had a fantastic one day sale on school uniforms. Shirts $4 and Pants $6. I saved $75 dollars.

  • Dot Smith

Burlington is horrible. They don't have enough employees. The employees that are there perform multiple tasks- cashier, floor help, returns, layaways, etc. Jewel cashiers are wonderful but don't go fish department. One male employee was rude and nonchalant.

  • Shar B

So glad they took the speedbumps out. Wish they had more options for turning left onto 119th. Love the security in the parking lot. Target employees can be irritating by constantly asking can I help you sometimes. But the store is clean and well stocked.

  • Vegeta NIGHT

I would give this gym 5 stars but unfortunately they don't enforce their rules about putting the weights back on the racks and people leave them anywhere they want to and it's annoying. But the staff is friendly and always say hello when you walk in.

  • Incog Nito

Much needed shopping plaza in Morgan Park...Added security would be a plus, as the days have already gotten shorter...and some unfortunate events have taken place. Everyone, please keep your wits about you, as we enter the Fall/Winter seasons....

  • Sandy

I only went in the store to purchase the grill chicken on a Monday but unfortunately there was no fresh hot chicken ready. We had to wait over 25 minutes. I always get the grilled but I just ended up buying fried Chicken which I normally

  • Misterike king

The service is fabulous.....for my birthday they treated me like royalty plus sang a nice "birthday" tune! Being at Chilli's to me was a wonderful Birthday gift! I will highly recommend this restaurant! …

  • Linda Allen

Yes go to Marshfield Plaza. Plenty of Parking, and Plenty of Stores. Jewels Grocery store, 53rd Bank, Panda Ecpress. Chili's Restaurant, Burlingtom Coat Facorty. Pizza Place, Gym Place. Beauty Supply store. Medical Clinic. Dollar Tree. ect.

  • Nan

What I can appreciate about going to this area is possible security driving about. Not that they would be much help but as an deterrent to those thing about making someone a victim. I like seeing fresh veggies and fresh catfish at Jewels..

  • C. Han

I love this Burlington. Awesome selection, quality and great prices. Unfortunately it looks as though this location is downsizing....the back of the store is empty...only the front is stocked. My biggest issue is the women's restroom. I'm

  • geralda morgan

They have a lot of shops and restaurants to visit here! It was Kool shopping for the baby we had about 4 different stores to shop for baby items. And I was able to run in Jewel for dinner stuff after eating at Wing stop and Panda Express.

  • THOMAS DUMAS

That JEWEL grocery store is horrible. I don't know what it's going to take, but I used to work for a large retailer and I see the differences. Believe me, I'm not picking on them. Go and shop there for an hour and observe for yourself.

  • Melvin Woodard

America's best was a great experience, the staff was courteous and professional. The doctors were concerned and encouraged me to ask questions about my condition. Overall the experience was pleasant and the service was excellent.

  • Geradessiel Simon

The openness is everywhere! The service in the various stores tends to be quite open, can find what I need, the buses "flow well" for the most part. Prices are reasonable. So often I walk there, due to the clear passageway.

  • Jennifer Boyles

Decent shopping area. I'm mad they are closing target down in this plaza. Customer service was pretty good as well. I also like the jewels in this plaza and beauty supply store. I would recommend and go back again soon.

  • Joseph Cole

Order "drive up and go". Check in on the app and wait 45 minutes. Call the store and no answer. Call Jewel headquarters and they might come out, they may give you the Manager's phone. Then wait! All good. Never again.

  • P. Lorraine Smith

I don't go to this Jewel but it was convenient. The store is well stocked, clean and pleasing to the eye. Some of the staff could be more professional but that's on management. I won't go back unless I have to.

  • R.J. Hall

Check your receipt and take pics because the check out associates lack a few essential problem solving skills. It's so sad. They need better management and employees who have at least basic thinking ability.

  • Yvonne Curry

Marshfield Plaza used to carry stores such as Staples and Target. I went to Jewel's there to get some sparkling ice water. They have a very good selection there and usually you can buy that for $1 each

  • Rex Smith

Worst jewels ever. Always one one cashier for every 100 customers. And they stop ringing you up to talk to there friends. They ask how you want your deli meat cut then get an attitude and mess that up.

  • Asia Burnett

I came here to get some buttermilk. Did not find it went to a sales associate and he walked me right to the item, if it was a snake it would've bit me lol. Overall nice experience no complaints...

  • Lisa Hudson

Glad to have this nice plaza on the far south side with good shops and businesses. It's right off the expressway and parking is pretty good too. We don't have to drive out to Orland as often now.

  • Cearetta Heyari

Took a friend there to look for a fireplace didn't find what we were looking for but I did stop in Target got a great pair of shoes love the fact that it has so many options in stores and dining

  • Hyda Bass

Target is no longer housed here, but we do have Burlington, Old Navy, Jewel, Dollar Tree, and LA Fitness Center. Also a great selection of wonderful stores closer to the main street of 119th.

  • Tonette Moore

Public transportation should be more accessible and I speak as someone who doesn't use it, but see others struggling to reach a bus stop. Allow busses to have stops inside the mall area

  • Sandra Contrerarty

Aldi is my go to store. I purchase just what's marked down or forte things at different stores. New veggies, even Bison and sheep you can get in case you're doing the keto way of life.

  • Hollie Horton

The Jewels here is the WORST. I've never been able to get in and out EVER. The rest of the plaza is great. People aren't the best drivers in this parking lot though, so be aware.

  • Eri Williams

Ample parking and interesting assortment of stores. Having Jewel's grocery store there is convenient but they really need to replace the shuttered Target with a comparable store.

  • CHERIE HARRIS

It was clean & presentable, but needs more stores/ vendors in the mall. I'll likely go back to go to Burlington. If they weren't there, I'd have NO reason to go over there.

  • Barbara Leonard

I wish that Marshfield plaza had more stores right now rainbow is there and I enjoy shopping there I just wish they would open up more shopping areas for women to shopping

  • Grayland Stewart

I ate at Chili's in Marshfield Plaza and it was truly a pleasure. The service was excellent, food was delicious. Thank you to the management and staff! Highly recommended!

  • Darryl Dickerson

I Visited T-Mobile For A New Phone The Service Was Top Of The Line The Representative Took His Time And Was Very Helpful And Knowledgeable On Everything I Inquired About

  • donna Williams

Aldi is my go to store. I buy only what's on sale or specialty items at other stores. Fresh veggies, even Bison and lamb you can get if you're doing the keto lifestyle.

  • Don Almore

I was at Dollar tree an nothing was on the shelves stock was in every aisle employees seem like they were just there they didnt seem interesting in helping customers

  • Mary Brown

I took my Mom to American Best Eye Glasses she got a good pair of glasses and transition, polished, none glare all of that with. Her insurance she only payed $23.

  • Linda Thomas

It's somewhat of a descent place to do some quick shopping, the only turn off is you must have your own bags on that strip, or you will have to purchase them.

  • Joe Myers

Marshfield Plaza is decent. I’m sad that Target got closed down. The nearest one is on 95th/Pulaski. At least there is a Medical building instead of Target.

  • Karen Baker

I like the Jewel food store here. They carry great produce and meat. And they have an onsite butcher. I miss that at the one near me. We need a butcher!

  • Trenette Monty

I visited Dollar Tree. Store wasn't crowded, clean, stocked shelves, and friendly employees. This my favorite DT of All. It's definitely worth my drive

  • Chiquita Lewis

The parking lot was like a speed race area!! Police or security should monitor this area!! It was awful trying to get my 86 year old across the lot

  • lashanda turner

Nice plaza great selection of store. Needs to be cleaned more often, trash cans are running over and garbage is blowing all over the store fronts.

  • Sheila Randle

Jewels chicken off the chain. There deli has gotten better with service. A great improvement. Thanks it should always be about the customers.

  • The WriterLady2

Very nice. Staff is very pleasant. However, if you're going into Jewels, bring your own bags or you'll be paying $0.07 for each one.

  • Fran G

Have to stay alert in this area, and careful. Customer service is not the best.Plenty of eateries, shopping and workout gyms here.

  • Ethan Wilkerson

You know, it's a mall, it's got the usual mall stores in it, and the restaurants you would expect...it's a nice outdoor mall.
