My precious mother passed Aug 11, 2021. By far the worst time of my life. She was my partner in crime, we had amazing times together and at 97 she was still ready to go and do. I cannot express the gratitude and respect I have for Samuel Brewer at this facility. Samuel understood and accommodated every request. I asked that they not cover my moms face as she did not want that, they accommodated when they picked her up at the hospital, I asked that I do her hair and makeup, they accommodated and had my mom covered in a beautiful blanket, the girls at he dressing facility were amazing. Samuel had already told them my wishes and needs and they were so accommodating and gracious. I asked Samuel for me to spend the last night with my mom and he without hesitation arranged for me to do so. Bradley, an employee stayed the night in the funeral home and watched over me and my mom. Samuel listened when we talked about our mom and picked up that she never worried about anything but gave it up to God and her favorite colors. He gave us such a sweet gift at the gravesite. He had put a plaque with a Bible on it and No Worries written under it. He also had the vault colored as close to lavender as he could do. Samuel you made this devasting time a sweet memory. Recently my mother passed away and we knew she would be buried at Forest Lawn because her and my father had purchased grave sites there many years ago but after the high pressure sales and lack of flexibility we endured with Forest Lawn when my father passed away we know we would not be holding the funeral service or visitation there. We still had to go by Forest Lawn to verify the grave site and that should have taken no more than 30 minutes but it wound up taking 3 hours. They seem to not understand what a family is going through or how to provide good customer service. Now I am receiving spam emails from the company that owns Forest Lawn all of the time. I don't want to see emails trying to push funeral plans on me just a few weeks after burying my mother. They call themselves "Dignity" but they have none themselves.

My father passed away on December 17th, 2016. He had very little life insurance but it was more than enough for his cremation but not enough for a funeral. I bought his urn through another company and we're doing a small memorial service at my aunt and uncle's house. Forrest Lawn did not make much money from us, however, I was still treated with so much respect by them. Robert was the man in charge of my dad's case and he was amazing. He was very considerate and sympathetic. He never made me feel bad about not having alot if money to spend with them. He went above and beyond to assist me during this very difficult time in my life. Thank you Robert...for treating me as well as someone who had alot more money would've been treated and for all you did to help me.

I have had two experiences with the staff at forest lawn cemetery. Both of them were exceptional. The first one was my mother who passed away in the year 2000 and it was a time for us that we were not financially prepared for so we were in a rush to come up with finances, and to take care of things, and they were very helpful and helping us find things that were acceptable to us for our loved ones, and we’re affordable to us as well. Then my father passed away just recently, and they were once again, helpful and friendly, and very sympathetic to our needs and wants and our feelings, and we appreciate them completely for all that done for us, and would totally recommend them to anyone at all who has ever lost a love one and needs help.

I can not say enough good things about the staff here, Michael and Christina went above and beyond to accommodate us during our loss. The chapel was beautiful and set up way above any of our expectations. The viewing of it brought me to tears. Every aspect of my grandfather was portrayed that day... the peanut bar, cherry pies, squirrels, bird feeders, and Budweiser toast really made it more of a celebration than a passing. I am impressed beyond words with each of them. It was very unique and made us all feel his presence with us throughout the day. You guys gave my family comfort and the support we needed to make it through... thank you from the depths of my soul, I will always be grateful to each of you!!

I am so grateful my parents purchased pre-arrangements for their funerals with Forest Lawn in Goodlettsville, TN. When my mom died unexpectedly, Cayley and her team were so kind to us and helped us work through all the last things that needed to be handled. On the day of the funeral, all of the staff, especially Cayley, was so helpful and encouraging. They took care of all the details that I had not even thought of. She has been very accommodating about getting my mom's death certificates and portrait to us by meeting me and my husband out closer to where we live instead of returning to the cemetery so soon. Everyone did an excellent job, and I'm very proud to have had them by our side during these days.

I have had to utilize Forest Lawn for 2 very close family members. Each time, they were very helpful and accommodating. I was especially pleased with how natural my loved ones appeared during the viewing. After my first experience with them, 9 years ago, I began planning my own service with them. I will continue to use their services for any future funeral needs. I have, and will continue to recommend them to others who are need of this type of service.

This facility should have more than ONE tall chair for family members to sit on during a long visitation. There really is only ONE tall chair in the whole place. Families do not want to sit in a regular-height chair when visitors are walking by; they want to be able to greet eye-to-eye, hug to hug. I was tempted to leave the visitation and go to Home Depot for my dear friend who was so tired from standing and greeting for many hours.

Professional, compassionate and easy to work with during our time of deep grief in planning the memorial service for our 14 month old granddaughter whose passing was a shocking tragedy. Blessings to the staff and especially to Paul Miller and Robert Fuqua who worked closely with our family to make our memorial a wonderful celebration of her life and even the impact of her on so many lives. Thank you for much comfort in our grief.

My 97 year old father passed away back in October and he was a veteran of World War II . In order to have a military funeral you have to have discharged papers of which I could not find. Jessica and the staff at Forest Lawn was able to call and get my dad his military funeral. I will be forever grateful for them. Jessica also helped me write the perfect obituary for my dad. The Staff at Forest Lawn Funeral Home especially Robert Fuqua and Robbie Fuqua were tops in helping us through the recent death of my brother, Glenn David Latham. They went aboveboard to meet our requests and saw to our needs before we asked. Please consider Forest Lawn before you need them. We prepaid for everything years ago and was pleasantly surprised at the savings.

Everyone all the employees were super nice, Especially sammual, He's the funeral director, He's helped me with paperwork even after my mother was put to rest, I would recommend forest lawn to anyone, The service was very nice, And they even went as far as to put a plaque on my mother's vault of a shopping cart, Since my mother loved to shop, Without charges,

Forest Lawn, took great care of my brothers Funeral, the facility was very clean & friendly & also practice all Covid Rules & regulations, very helpful getting the flowers in from the florists and arranging them. Our Minister delivered a great message and many of our family members are buried here. Very great full to them during our time of Loss.

How do I start? It is usually not a good situation when visiting a funeral home; however, in a situation like that, Robert and the staff made us feel at peace with all of our decisions and with just having to be there. The environment was always welcoming, and they made us and all of our guests feel at ease in a stressful and emotional moment!

With putting my trust in them for my son's funeral and just recently my mother's funeral leaves no doubt that they have the most caring professional staff of anyone in the business, they go above and beyond to care for you and your loved ones, they definitely have my trust and any other funeral needs that my arise in the future.

They made my sons burial so wonderful that he smiled down from heaven. With the Cronia virus putting a minimum of people there ,they acomidated us as there family and made it beautiful. Well let me just start by saying the candlelight vigil was beautiful, But what I didn't like is isaw hundreds of graves with no candle in thare memory, many other places have staff go out and light them, Maybe that person didn't have anyone left to light thare candle, very dissapointed and sad
