Forestville Public School is an excellent school with a great balance. The school does and excellent job in educating children and preparing them for whatever life throws at them. The core values of the school are built around trust, friendship and mutual respect..... And the teachers and staff at the school display this on a daily basis. FPS educators put the needs of the pupils first at all times. They have great programs to support kids including an excellent STEAM program. At the school there is focus on ensuring that the kids get a very rounded education including access to technology, effective communication, school sports, PSSA, debating, public speaking, band, strings... and a multitude of other programs. Sport is a big part of the FPS curriculum and the kids are heavily involved in athletics, AFL, rugby and many other sports. The teachers give so much of their time to support the kids. Parents at the school are encouraged to have input in the running of the school and the various programs that the school run. Every year the school have a great fundraiser (runforestrun) which is supported by all the community. Forestville Public school truly is a great school.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about FPS. Having been involved personally and having our 2 kids attend (one still there), we have been impressed with the teaching faculty who consistently display a can do attitude. We have seen it grow from 395 students to just over 700 today and the school has not missed a beat. The constant drive from the staff to improve every facet of school life for the kids is second to none. For a school to provide so many opportunities for each and every student is something the school should be very proud of. FPS is a big part of the community which gets showcased each year with the annual fun run "Run Forest Run". The P & C are a hard working committee with only the best interests of the school and it's students at heart and have provided some great outcomes for all concerned. Led by a Principal who is all about the kids, this school leads the way in many areas. Go FPS !

Currently going to this school and it's absolutely fantastic! We have wonderful teacher (you know who you guys are) who have taught me so much over my years here. The bathrooms are probably the only bad thing in the school. Canteen prices are wonderful, great outdoor environment space. I've enjoyed my time here but next year I'm off to high school. My time here has been amazing, I have learnt so much more here than I think I would've at any school. I've also made many friends here (you also know who you are) and your child probably will make plenty of friends aswell. I'd recommend this amazing school for anybody's kids.

We love being a part of the Forestville Public School community. All the teachers have been impressive, warm & clearly love what they do, which translates to happy classrooms and happy kids! Our child has had such an enjoyable & stimulating start to school life. Plus we've made many wonderful friends in the school community and love participating in the volunteering opportunities on offer (Run Forest Run, canteen, reading groups etc). Importantly, the academic focus is on developing our little learners for the jobs of the future, with hands on robotics, coding & STEM activities part of the curriculum.

Forestville Primary has been the best choice for our family. The community is so supportive. In addition to offering needs-appropriate educational opportunities including extension programs facilitated by phenomenal teaching staff, there are so many optional programs to choose from. We’ve been involved in band, strings, choir and sports to name a few. These opportunities set our child up well for high school applications. Forestville is a well-rounded, vibrant school which is small enough to be personable and large enough to offer opportunities of interest to a diverse student population.

Our family loves Forestville Primary School. The school has a wonderful, caring, nurturing staff led by an amazing leadership team. The extra circular activities offered are outstanding - band, chess club, inter-school sports competitions, Sydney wide dance competitions, just to name a few. All backed up by a wonderful P&C who drive the great fundraising ideas every year that raise so much money for the extras at the school such as air conditioning in all the classrooms, wonderful play areas and technology. We are very happy at Forestville Public School.

We have had 2 children attend FPS (with another due to start next year). Both our children have had a fantastic experience at FPS. The teaching staff are a perfect mix of experience and enthusiasm. They truly care about the children and put in extra time and effort not only for the day to day educational needs of the children but for extra curricula activites such as sport, dance, music and creative arts. Whilst it has a large cohort, the school still retains a very warm, community feel - something that was very important to us. Highly recommend FPS

Forestville Public School is a fantastic place. I loved how inclusive and supportive the staff were and all the leadership positions in year 6 were fantastic. I enjoyed being a library monitor and helping out students in the library it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. The extra curricular activities offered here are incredible and I highly recommend the band program as it was so fun. Overall I think that Forestville Public School is a fantastic choice and would highly recommend.

This Place is fantastic! I drop tackled 5 anime kids in my time here and got 20 detentions a day! Thank you so much for hiring awful subs like Mr. Betts to this school! I started choke slamming kids into those silver benches near the bricks and I got suspended 12 times each year. I also found tons of duct tape and tied a kid up in the toilets, they were not found for the next 2 days. I recommend going to this school

Such a forward and innovative school - always ahead on the best practice guidelines for teaching. All 3 of my Children (Yr 1, Yr 4, Yr 6)are loving their time at Forestville Public School. The school community is amazing and all the teachers very warm & passionate about children's learning. As a parents I have always felt connected with the school very well informed.

Forestville Public School is a wonderful place for kids to learn and grow. My two children have great memories and have created friendships that will follow them into adulthood. The teachers are a dedicated bunch whether it be academic or sports and I would recommend FPS to any family that are looking for a great school to send their kids.

I attended this school but changed schools in 2016 on the last day of term on term 3 and I had most of year 4 on the oval while I drove away yelling my name and 2 of the kids chased me on a scooter and a bike and all my teachers where wonderful and Mr Ellis if you are reading it is jason and you were the best :)

Forestville was the best school. Everyone was a community and it was a place that was safe for me. The teachers helped me grow in my learning and it was an amazing school with all my friends. I think that year 6 was the best year we went to the basin and bathurst. FPS gave me many great experiences.

went to this school and it was pretty fun. racked up like 30 detentions in my time and got told by the vice principle (ms Wellings you know who you are) that I was a disgrace to my bloodline when i was 7 years old. fun school if you enjoy sending it with the boys and the occasional suspension xx
