Global Exchange Vacation Club (GEVC) is a complete SCAM! Stay clear of this company. I wish I would’ve read these reviews ahead of time prior to putting my 50$ deposit down. I went to 4400 NW Loop 410, suite 101 to request my full refund of the deposit and explain I was no longer interested in this fake adventure. Upon request of the deposit to be refunded… I was told to receive my refund, I would have to fill out the exact paperwork that was already filled out at the San Antonio Zoo. The Zoo is where I received my quick overview of this adventure not realizing all the red flags at the time. Even if I did fill out the paperwork for the second time I would only receive a pre paid Visa card that may not work everywhere or at all. Ultimately Jerome and Adam Carroll were completely unprofessional and did not possess the customer service skills that would positively engage a lifetime customer. Their empathy, active listening, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skill were sub-par to what a business should be ran as. Stay clear of this business if you favor your own money. The end-state was, I forced to file a police report/complaint.

I have both reported this company to the BBB, a company with whom GEVC continuously states they have an excellent reputation with and my bank for fraudulent charges taken when they did not refund my money AS PROMISED. I will post anywhere I can to WARN PEOPLE TO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY on any level. Go look at their actual BBB reviews. They are horrendous. Too many stories of people being ripped off, including numerous 50.00 thefts from innocent people at fairs being promised a vacation if they will attend a time share sales pitch (which we drove to San Antonio to do) and we WOULD RECEIVE OUR 50$ BACK TO OUR BANK ACCOUNT- which we did not. We were given a faulty VISA card that did not work and then I contacted the company who said they had switched banks and would send me out another card- which ALSO DID NOT WORK. This company is nothing but scammers, from their sales people at street fairs (I will be looking out for this company the next time they show up in Austin) and their fictious promises of all kinds of concierege service and amazing dates and locations (LOOK IT UP ON THE BBB SITE). SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY!!!

SCAM! People please run before this company takes your money. They promise vacations including a gift card that is not an actual gift card and a $50 visa that does not work. They will make you sign a contract and grab the funds from your account. I have tried calling for over a month to get my gc and visa to work no luck after getting a hold of someone they couldn't help and also stated to be short staffed. They are not their to help just take your money. I will be walking in the office and I'll make sure the people in there walk away. All they do is copy and paste apologize, but never actually assist. Number never works.

Jayson Martinez (Six Flags) helped us with our 4 day trip to Orlando. Went to the presentation and declined the offer. We got our 50 dollars and trip! Worth it to me, you have to pay taxes, so it's really like a 50% off hotel with free tickets to Disney world 1 day. Plus free airfare! I may go back later to sign up if I can add a new expense to our budget. Just not ready now. Thanks GEV. Shout out to David and Adam for a great presentation!

The recruiters say you only pay taxes but you will need to pay a deposit and other fees. The $50 gift card you get is not a true gift card and it will most likely not work as many complaints for that company have been defective prepaid cards. Better to book a vacation with another travel agency than trust this place which gets it's customers by lying to begin with.

  • Gabi Jackson

Please read: whatever the reason is you are going here, be careful! The presentation is good, but full of lies. If you actually want what they are selling, go somewhere else. This is not worth your time or money. I'm a super-trusting person, and they took me for a lot of money. Even after you pay everything off, you still have yearly fees to pay forever.

Took the free trip, which I got from Sixflags back in December. It was fairly easy to book and I ended up paying less than what I was told. Great experience, the sales part was not bad either I did one of these in Vegas before and was stuck there for 6 hours. I went in the morning was out before noon. Will do again next year thanks for the trip

This place is a scam plz don’t give them your money it’s a scam. They will promise you a vacation then make you choose a plan that is almost 700 with 300 hoa fee then if you don’t take it give u a gift card that u can’t even use anywhere. I tried it 7 places and it’s declined. Save the trouble ppl

  • Taco

Definitely can confirm this place is a scam! The gift cards promised are not what they claim to be. They’re vouchers for discounts. If you’re reading this you probably already gave them your money for a free gift. Count your losses and don’t waste your time.

  • M N

The “free” trips you get are not actually free and are difficult, near impossible, to redeem. Not worth it. I’d tell a friend to absolutely not waste their time. Also, they’ve deleted any photos I’ve added. Seems questionable to me.

  • Y'know Chief

Awesome company. Only paid taxes and watched a presentation, got send my grabdoarents on a 5 day cruize to the western carribean, they loved it

  • Tanya Alford

Would give 0 stars if possible. Nothing promised was delivered. “Gift cards” and “vouchers” aren’t actually gift cards or vouchers. Super joke.

  • D A

Don't try to get your deposit back: they make you jump through all sorts of hoops. Scam!!!

  • Jovonna Jackson
