By far this is the best medical clinic in Hobart. I’ve been a client for a few years now and can honestly say I’ve never experienced such genuine care and concern for my health and well being. The doctors, nurses and reception staff are outstanding. Many of my friends also attend this practice and we all share a similar view on how fantastic it is and how consistently awesome our experiences are. I now have my own primary doctor for the first time ever in Hobart. I was so tired of only seeing visiting temporary doctors at other clinics. No good if you have chronic conditions requiring constant monitoring. It’s a relief to be able to develop a good and active working relationship with a secure and consistent GP who genuinely cares about the long term health of me and my family. If I ever can’t see my usual doctor, because of short notice or if she’s having a very well deserved holiday, the other doctors I’ve seen have all been very caring and thorough too. Everyone at this clinic looks you in the eye and listens. They also review your medical file BEFORE they see you so you’re both on the same page from the beginning. The practice nurses are also so very caring and gentle. The sorts of people that make you feel better just being in their presence. Recently one of the reception staff went above and beyond to help me with a specialist referral problem when I was at a low point with a medical condition. Caring actions speak louder than words. I was so touched by the gesture. Then there the extra things you notice that demonstrate their commitment to ethically sound and genuine patient centred care. Like the LGBTIQ welcome sign, unisex toilets, Indigenous recognition, a really informative Facebook page, clean modern facilities, easy and plentiful parking... for all the above reasons and more, when we need to see a doctor we travel over the bridge to Glebe Hill Family Practice to see our very own caring family doctor :)

I recently moved to the area, so it made sense this becoming my doctor. I tried to book in but there is a 3-4 month wait for new patients (although existing patients can see a doctor this week). I'm not really sure how this is sustainable or reasonable, but it is obviously not practical for anyone to have to wait 4 months to see a doctor. There is no point in having a doctor clinic nearby if I can't use them when I need to.

Booked an appointment to speak to a Dr by phone for antibiotics, was told by the Dr to call back in 2 days if I was still unwell, even though I had been sick for over two weeks. Was billed $97 for the consultation. No wonder he wanted me to call back two days later. Would’ve been nearly $200 for a box of antibiotics worth $15. No thanks. Next time I’ll use the Call a doctor service.

I recently attended this practice, having had no luck in getting an appointment elsewhere. The practice is new & modern & the staff I interacted with both on the phone & face to face were friendly & professional. I saw Dr Tim Jones who, again, was both friendly & professional. I had no hesitation in recommending this practice to my wife and to others looking for GP services.

I have taken my mother and myself to Dr. Rekha so many times and always she has treated us so well, she has always listened us with heart and cared for us. I am sad that she is going to leave the practice. She is one of the kind jems .

We have visited the praxis multiple times and on every occasion it was terrible. No compassion, rushed service, receptionists are unfriendly. Health CARE!! We will not be returning.

So glad the nearest doctor surgery to me is also the best around. Have seen a couple of the doctors here and all have exceeded previous clinics I've attended.

This practice shows no compassion for its patients. This is by far the closest doctors surgery to me. Myself and my family will NEVER be going back.
