I love Golden Wok for quick and cheap Chinese Food. They have a dish I haven’t seen at other similar Chinese takeout spots called Spicy Basil Chicken which comes with white rice or for an extra buck or two, you can get fried rice instead—a pretty good meal for under $7-$9. I love this dish—it’s not anything super spicy, it just has a quite mild kick to it—and it’s also not crazy greasy. Definitely don’t plan to eat-in. There’s just one small booth as it’s a tiny hole-in-the-wall type old place, and certainly nothing that offers much atmosphere. But for tasty, rather inexpensive takeout or delivery, they’re very good. Very good to note: it is CASH ONLY—both for takeout as well as delivery.

I would give this palce 5 stars but I have my own unique standards that are influenced by health and quality. This establishment does use MSG and Hydrogenated Soybean Oil which are critical to your health. I dont eat here anymore as a result. If that is not a problem or concern for you, the food here is amazing and has great portions. Since they are a busy business, the infredients arw used frequently and fresh. If you would like a quick bite and dont mind taking somw health risks, this is the place for you.

Was good food but I had a bad experience tonight when I went to pick up my food first it says open till 11:30 every night I just finished work and went to pick up my food and one of the workers looked at me with attitude and said we’re closed well I already had placed my order a few a while ago but the attitude wasn’t necessary nor the rude looks I’m a paying customer and the doors were still open I should have just turned around and walked out

So I just ordered via phone and had asked that the delivery man have change for $50 because that is all I had. The man on the phone has the audacity to tell me to make sure that the money was real. How can you be so rude and assume that my money is counterfeit? I responded that it was real and the man keep saying that most of the time it isn't. This is ridiculous and might not be ordering from there again. I felt insulted.

Quick and friendly service for take out here. Decent food if you need to fill up quickly.

My go to for (American style) Chinese food. They are ridiculously fast, cheap prices, and large portions. I will only get egg drop soup from this restaurant, it's perfectly proportioned egg to broth ratio and plenty of crunchy egg noodles. The meat is a good quality too, even with fried dishes. I've had some mishaps wih delivery before, but otherwise it'd be perfect. Highly recommend!

Horrible... seriously they need to do better! I order chicken wings and they were old ...very old!(I placed my order at 11am... they open at 11am)why would my food be old? ...because reuse old food that wasn’t sold days prior. It’s insulting that in black and Hispanic communities we can’t receive quality food. I won’t order again.. too many options in the city to settle on trash.

Giving this four stars because you need to understand what you’re getting into. This is a cheap cash only Chinese food restaurant that gives you a ton of food for a small price. I don’t get too into the menu, usually just the General with rice, but that’s also why I’m giving it four stars because if that’s what you’re looking for this is a solid option. Easy. Quick. Tasty.

They forgot my order and made me wait for close to 2 hours than when I called they tried to give me credit n the food was for my son this place is so unprofessional I’m really disappointed as I’ve been a customer of theirs for years n I always try to tip the delivery guy at least 5-10 dollars and the food tasted of poor quality I should of been wary of the previous reviews

This place is horrible!!! After being hung up on three times trying to order, they didn't have 3 of the 4 items I wanted off their menu. When we finally got our food it was Luke warm and DISGUSTING. Chicken was grizzly and fatty, sauces tasted like nothing and everything was covered in oil. Will never order from here again and they deserve to go out of business.

Been going here for years. The cooking has gotten better, but the menu basically stays the same. They have the usual offerings, as far as Chinese fast food goes, but the also have a steamed food section, and vegetarian. Unlike a lot of restaurants nowadays, they actually still deliver!

I love golden Wok. The food is cooked really fast and always fresh. They over stuff your containers with extra rice so you get your money's worth & their prices are cheaper than other local spots. The food is good and always consistently the same.

I've tried several Chinese take outs in the area. When I found Golden Wok I was pleased with them and made it my spot Chinese restaurants in the black areas always suck and they couldn't care less what slop they serve but this one cares a little.
