Park is a monument built for 369 students who died during the 1969 agitation for a separate Telangana state. Telangana Martyrs Memorial dayis observed on 2 June every year in all the districts of Telangana State.It is situated opposite to the Public Gardens, Hyderabad The monument, also called Gun Park, because the government used guns against demonstrators and killed 369 people. It is symbolic structure celebrating brave Telangana agitators. It is a focus for political activity highlighting issues relating to the telangana region Telangana Martyrs Memorial Day on 2 June every year in all the districts of Telangana State. On this occasion, there will be an official programme in every district headquarters which include paying floral tributes at the designated sites of Martyrs Memorials besides other programmes in a befitting manner.

It's assembly at nampally, Hyderabad. It's nearby gun park. It's heavy traffic here. Takes much time here. It's little heavy than normal traffic here. Car is not recommend here. I recommend bike to ride here in this traffic. I didn't enter into the assembly. The Gandhi statue is very big here.

A rock pillar has been erected in this gun Park in the fond memory of all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of Seperate Telangana state which is actually the importance of this place.

A nice pleasant place with nice views overlooking assembly and ravindra bharati and beautifully maintained garden by the GHMC. Though you are the center of traffic you don't feel like it.
