Perhaps I need to start by stating that movie ticket prices, as well as food and beverage prices, are just unbelievably expensive. It explains why on a school/public holiday evening session of a brand new blockbuster movie, there were only some 10 people in the cinema. I cannot understand how cinemas justify these high prices, and why there is no regulatory body to stop this inflation of prices in cinemas. The cinema itself was average, with many torn and worn out seats. There was a musty fermentation smell. Screen size was only fair. Much prefer Reading brand cinemas with much cheaper prices and much larger screen sizes. We will not go to Hoyts again.

Food took half an hour to come out in LUX plus it was disgusting. The people that attend these cinemas are even more disgusting. Teens and adults vaping in the cinema, people on their phones during movie time with brightness up high, kids taking their shoes off and farting, stinking up the place, just disgusting behaviour, it has made me not go to ANY cinema ever again. Seats are extremely unhygienic too. Waste of money and time, would rather pay for a movie at the comfort of my own home for a much cheaper price.

Watched transformer raise of the beasts yesterday night with hoyt lux. Absolutely unenjoyable experience. Our button for food ordering keep turning off without any reason, staffs were trying to ignore us. People walking up and down for the whole 2 hours movie (both staffs and customers) and they should watch the movie entrance more closely as there were group of teens keep coming back and forth to our cinema during the movie tried to find free empty seats.

Disgusting smell from the lobby till the seating area.. It literally smelt like urine in the theatre, too. Definitely not recommended.. pls turn back....Could see people have complained the same from the past 9 months but wonder how no action is taken to provide what needs to be provided for the price. I'm really frustrated.. feel like sitting in a dirty toilet for 2.5 hours. Giving 1 star only cause I can't put zero...

D-Box Motion recliner is good enough to put a smile on you face. However its soft even on the highest setting and missing a few element such as wind effect, could have been more immersive. Parking is easy, great atmosphere and majority of the audience is sensible. The place need better cleaning cycle though, for a premium ticket, you wouldn’t want left over ice drips on the cup holder or left over popcorn on the seat.

Generally don’t like going to the cinemas but if I ever do I go to this one. The recliner seats are nice and there is a nice amount of space between the rows of seats. It would be nice to have the theatres kept cleaner but it’s frustrating the public are so grubby in the first place. It’s gotten very expensive in my opinion to go see a movie at the cinema these days, especially with the snacks and drinks.

My go to cinema ever since their upgrade. Easy to book online and reserve your seats. I order popcorn online as well, which is a quick pick up. Regular seating is great with the recline feature, and they're also pretty comfy versus other cinemas. Only issue I really have is that some screens can be a bit dirty which might bother some - but you normally forget about it when you get indulged the movie.

Went on a Tuesday night to watch a movie and spent $50 for adult tickets. No more half-price Tuesdays and the place was dead quiet! no wonder and now you can only get half-price if you're a Ticketek member and book your tickets online. Seating in cinema were dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned previously. The place was a ghost town and the staff clearly didn't want to be there.

Toilets are TERRIBLE, actually disgusting. Paper everywhere, water all over the floor, seats broken, actual POO on the seats. I have been to the movies the last few times and the toilets have been the same and disgusting. Despite telling staff to please look and attend to atleast tidy them up. Nothing was done and was told to go to the other toilets. Hoyts you need to DO BETTER.

Me and Hoyts WP, goes way back Seating is Good same goes for quality of image. Cinemas Hygiene and toilets is good Service is just bad, as if they're not even trying. LUX, is good but don't ever order food, its a waste of money considering food will Arrive one hour after the session start, and it will be cold melted and soggy. At one incident, i ordered a pizza that never came

Pretty good cinema. The spacious, reclining seats with barriers between each row keeps your cinema experience intimate and quite. Some of the seats I’ve had have been a bit dirty and in a post pandemic era, I don’t feel this is excusable. On my most recent visit, the bathroom I used also did not have a dryer or paper to dry your hands which was a bit frustrating.

The customer service does not exist. I have tried to contact Hoyts through their provided number, numerous time. Nobody answers the phone. I tried to contact through Facebook messenger, received one response, and have been ignored since. Your online booking system is a joke. Trying to add a voucher, which should be a simple process. Does not work. Do better.

The lobby smells like a wet dog, the drinks floor area was so sticky, and there was 5 staff behind the Counter in group talking. We were there for avatar dbox and our seats had rubbish on top of the seats which were clearly visible from far which I'm guessing they didn't clean after the last session. You can guess what bathroom was like. So, disappointing.

The best seats! They’re large, comfortable and soft. The chairs recline so far, the back reclines as well as the legs with seperate controls to mix and match if needed. The self serve machines don’t work, one had payment problems, ones screen wouldn’t work and then another didn’t print out the tickets, the staff were friendly enough to sort the issues.

This cinema complex was a pleasant surprise to find in the heart of South Western suburb of Wetheril Park but this is exactly what I would expect from Hoyts. The interior is very modern with reclining chairs. For it's been a personal experience as I've spent my teenage years going to Hoyts in the city. The atmosphere has always been brilliant!

I’ve been a couple of times and every single time there is this disgusting smell coming from the seats and carpet Almost like old food and drink, it’s horrible. This cinema is the nicest one that’s closer to me and it’s frustrating that with the cost increase and the ridiculous prices for food and drink that they can’t guarantee cleanliness

I found the cleanliness of the seating area to be very dirty, I mean there was still crumbs and left over pop corn between the seats and I even saw rubbish left behind the seats. The cup holder area was not wiped down properly. To top it off the seat I sat on smelt like a sweaty gym bag. Prices seem to go up whilst quality goes down.

I love hoyts so much. I wish one would open closer to where I live. I’ve gotten everyone to come here & they love the chairs and the cheap prices. Movies are good too. Always a good time when we come here. Popcorn is so good too! There is also a ben and jerry’s here too …

Customer service is great, popcorn is fresh and has a good amount of salt. Some chairs are broken (very few) within the cinema but other then that, would recommend if you want somewhere where the price is affordable and wanting to watch a movie with no disruptions.

The place stinks not sure if it’s the carpet or air conditioning. But it is disappointing that it has deteriorated so much. It’s our local cinema but not sure if I’ll come back. I have contacted Hoyts to let them know I think something should be done asap.

It cost over $90 for two tickets and a bit of food. $90!!! I thought this better be the best dam movie I've seen at a cinema in years.... Well.... It was.... Combined with a brilliant sound system, Oppenheimer really is an amazing cinema experience.

I had a fantastic experience at the Hoyts! The comfortable seats, crisp audio, and giant screen made for an immersive movie-watching experience. The staff was friendly, and the popcorn was delicious. Can't wait to go back for another movie night!

The staff at Hoyts Cinema were friendly and efficient. They guided me through the ticketing process seamlessly and answered any questions I had. Their professionalism and enthusiasm for their work added to the overall positive experience.

Was an amazing experience from the get go, greeted by the friendliest staff, although there were issues with our tickets it was quickly resolved by a manager by the name of Joey, seating and surround was phenonmal would recommend again!

Coke has changed to Pepsi which I am not impressed. Combos are pretty expensive and the seat I purchased recliner was broken so I had to sit up straight while everyone else was reclined and comfortable. Not a great experience at all..

Watched Transformers today in the Lux cinema. It was clean and the seats were comfortable. We had an issue with our ticket redemption and the staff were so great. Shout out to Isabella as she was amazing and was patient with us.

The nuke from the previous session blew out the speakers so hard, that they weren’t working for my Oppenheimer session! 10/10 realistic experience! Absolutely amazing work from Christopher Nolan! The whole theatre was silent!

Watched the equaliser part 3. Booked our seats to find a couple of people in our seats. Wouldn't normally matter, but a there were a few of us. So we got our seats, lucky we did because the theatre was a little packed.

HOYTS are way better than Event cinemas. If you want recliner seats in event cinemas, you have to upgrade to the very expensive gold package,whereas with HOYTS you don't need to which makes it a better experience

Nice enough cinema. Watched a movie in their Xtremescreen (Room 5). The experience was pretty good. Staff were kind and efficient. They have a nice entrance from the car park. My one issue was the sticky floors.

I wanted to see the movie at 11;00am but the guy wouldn't appect the companion card for the lux movie this is the last time I'll ever come to wethrill Park $28.00 in Total it's absolutely redictlous

The theater was neat and clean compared to events. The chair was recliner which made is comfortable. Also the refreshments bar was well staffed even on Easter holidays and queues were moving fast.

Visited on the 27th of October and had some technical difficulties because of the website but Milan and Bailey helped solve the issue so professionally and nicely. Thank you so much guys!!!!

Great seating..love the recliners! Large leather seats. Clean cinemas. Air-conditioning to a good temperature level..not too cold as some have it. Parking easy. Additional parking times.

Had great service from a young man (I think his name was George). He was friendly and had fantastic customer service. If he’s not already the manager, you need to promote him asap.

Comfortable seats with motion control, good movie experience, ordered food( sweet potato) from Hoyt's kitchen before the movie started, got ready 15 mins before movie ending.

Had a good experience seeing our movie. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The cinema was very clean, as were the toilets. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I accidentally said to renew my membership, asked for a refund and was given straight away. Best services of all movie theatres and staff are lovely.

Worst sound experience ever in the standard screens. Watching in TV at home is much much better. Xtremescreen is good. Standard is a waste of money.

My husband and I always travel from Penrith to wetherill park Hoyts. It’s always clean. The food is amazing and the deals are even better.
