We got married at Hachland in Sept 2023 and I honestly can’t even begin to express how incredible our wedding was. The property feels truly magical and as though you’re stepping into another world. The beauty of the property itself serves as so much of the decoration for the day. I loved that I felt like all we really needed to do was accent and highlight the natural beauty around us with lights and flowers. There are creeks flowing, old charming inns, hiking trails, suspension bridges over the creeks, owls in the trees at night, beautiful birds in the day. If all the beauty and charm of the place isn’t enough, the staff who owns and runs Hachland is truly next level. We immediately felt the care and comfort that comes from working with a family run establishment. The Hach family takes so much pride in this place, in the events they put on, and the food they serve. This care is so evident in all the staff who work there as well. We had our immediate family and wedding parties stay on site in the inns with us, which was so special as we got to see them so much more during the weekend than if we had all been staying apart at hotels etc. We all woke up each morning to an extraordinary home cooked breakfast at the main inn and got to talk, laugh and catch up in the dining room before getting ready and starting the wedding preparations. Having breakfast there with our families the day after the wedding was the perfect little goodbye and send off. The Hachland team worked flawlessly with our planners (who were recommended to us by Hachland) and all of our other vendors. The whole team did an outstanding job of letting me be a guest at, and enjoy my wedding weekend. I wanted a weekend that felt special, meaningful, and was as slow and as non-stressful as possible. Hachland and the whole team made that happen for us. We wanted a venue that we could have for the whole weekend, and a place where our friends and family could gather since this was a destination wedding, and Hachland was so perfect for just that. We did our rehearsal dinner there Friday night outdoors on the patio under the twinkle lights and the Hachland team knocked it out of the park regarding food, decor and planning. It was such a special memorable night. The food that was served at our wedding is still being raved about by our guests. I realize I’m a bit biased, but it was truly the best food I’ve had at a wedding. I felt like we all got to leave “the real world” for a weekend and bask in family, love, friendship, incredible food, and dancing the night away. The Hach family and all of the Hachland staff gave us the most amazing wedding weekend that was beyond our wildest dreams, thank you all!

I am a wedding photographer and travel frequently for work. I stayed here with the bridal party of one of my couples that was getting married on the property and I have to say this was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed but yet one of the most uncomfortable places I have ever slept in. I stayed in room 4 at the Stone Creek Inn and you can tell that this Inn gets the least amount of love on property. The photos you'll find on their website are NOT of Stone Creek which feels a bit like false advertising. This room has a patio attached with the most beautiful views, however there were no curtains on these doors. I think even a nice cream sheer curtain would work well in there... it just needed something. The mattress had to have been at least 10-20years old, the pillows were old and flat, and it was overall so uncomfortable and I barely slept the entire weekend, I even contemplated going somewhere else and throwing away the money spent on this property. This could have been such a relaxing weekend but I went home feeling more exhausted than when I arrived. Also wanted to note that the sink in my bathroom would not drain (the lift rod for the drain was broken). AND before I settled on this room, (I had the choice between 2 and 4), I went into room 2 and there was a huge patch of mold on the ceiling. Beautiful property but for the price point, incredibly disappointed with the rooms. This property needs a refresh asap. You can still keep that cabin charm, while adding some modern or fresh touches.

Several friends and my spouse plan and annual trip each year and this year we decided to head north and into Nashville. Being a large group, we needed a large place to accommodate all of our needs. We found it at Hachland Hill. Highlights: one of the managers was available to greet us when we all arrived, and left us with a large number of snacks and sodas before we even walked in the door, which added to the Southern Charm of the residence. The house is settled away from the busy city life, which offered multiple hiking trails leading away and towards the property, and ending near a beautiful stream providing a charming landscape. The residents also had a plentiful amount of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate our large number. Not to mention it had a fantastic circular fire pit just off of the house. Lowlights: While we had an abundant number of rooms, the amenities were lacking, and felt more like a hostel, then a Charming house in the country. Some of the toilets did not have lids, and several of the shower heads were noisy and pumped out water that at various times had a peculiar odor. Additionally, we had read that we would be able to head to the main house for breakfast in the mornings, and we were told that that was not the case when we arrived. Another difficulty was that the WiFi was rather spotty and difficult to connect to. Overall, we all shared a wonderful experience as a result of being with each other and in exploring the greater part of Nashville.

Hachland Hill was the perfect wedding venue for us! My husband and I were married October 20, 2018. We began planning a year before and looked at several wedding venues before deciding on Hachland Hill. From the moment we stepped onto the property we knew we’d found something special. The venue feels very peaceful and remote, though it is less than half an hour from Nashville. We had our ceremony in the large field and reception in the old tobacco barn/tent. The woods, creek and fall foliage set the perfect backdrop for our October wedding. There are two houses on the property that are rented out for accommodations, so most of our immediate family members were able to stay on site for the weekend which made for a really fun experience. Carter was great to work with throughout the process. He was able to accommodate several visits to the property ahead of the big day (even when I texted him on a Friday night asking if I could come by the next day to show my mom the venue because she was visiting from out of town and wanted to see it). Carter is also the chef and we were very pleased with all of the food options for the weekend, from the rehearsal to the cocktail hour to the reception meal. We had several of our guests compliment the food. Thank you to Carter and the rest of the staff at Hachland Hill for helping us pull off our dream wedding.

This place is magical. We used it for my brother in law's wedding and it was the perfect place. It's picturesque, with beautiful hardwood forests, and a cold Creek running through it. We all stayed in the main house at the top of the hill and had the wedding at the bottom next to the creek. Here's my breakdown of the experience. Scenery - doesn't get any better. Everything is amazing and it provides the best pictures. The main cabin - this is the only thing you might want to think twice about. It's an absolutely charming old house with a ton of room. But with that old charm and enormous size, comes slight annoyances like a few bugs here and there, and the air conditioner has a hard time keeping it cool in the heat of our Tennessee summers. It was pretty hot inside during the day, but the a/c got it nice and cold at night. The downstairs is amazing too with an nice pool table and ping pong table. The food - This was one of my favorites. Carter made some of the best tasting food I've had. It was gourmet in every sense, from the presentation to the flavor.

I got married here in September and everything was more perfect than I could have dreamed. The team at Hachland was so accommodating and made sure that each and every detail was perfect for us. We stayed on property for 3 nights with our families and wedding party, and everyone raved about the scenery as well as the delicious food. We held our rehearsal dinner on the property, and could not have had a better time. Wedding guests reached out to us weeks after the reception to tell us that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. The team even prepared a special private meal for my husband and I to eat while our guests were enjoying cocktail hour and set up a beautiful table in the Spring Creek house. Absolutely worth a visit. Hachland cares about every detail of your event as if they were planning something for their own family. We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Hachland Hill was the best most beautiful venue we could've ever hoped for. Our friends and family said it felt like we were in another world. Sally and Carter were so patient and communicative the entire 2 years of planning it took us. We had to postpone because of Covid once but they made the process as smooth as possible. Wedding planning is SO stressful but I really appreciated how responsive they were, always answering emails right away and on top of everything. It was so close to Nashville too so we got to have our pre wedding celebrations there (we live in VA) and then our wedding in the most dreamy place just minutes away. And the food!! OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! I have been to a lot of weddings and the food is typically average- ours was the BEST I have ever have. Our wedding was everything we could've hoped for and I would recommend Hachland Hill in a heartbeat.

At first I thought it was just for large groups but thankfully my husband did some research and found it was available for couples too. We happened to stay on a light weekend and had the whole place to ourselves! The staff was extremely nice and moved us to a larger room. We were also offered snacks and drinks when we arrived for check-in. The only minor issues were the drain in the shower was a little slow and because of the humid climate there was a little mold on the shower curtain, nothing major. We LOVED hiking the property! The trails were beautiful and the rope bridge was really fun! Breakfast was very enjoyable too. Delicious food by a wonderful chef who entertained us with the history of the Inn while we ate (fantastic history too)! Definitely recommend if youre looking for a place to getaway and enjoy the country!

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception here in April, and we and our wedding guests stayed at the inns onsite. This was the first venue we toured, we contracted the same day, and we are very happy that we did. Rachel, our venue coordinator, was incredible to work with and we enjoyed spending the weekend with her and the Hachland team. She helped us plan for exactly what we wanted, and was up front about making sure we understood any impacts to our cost. The wooded grounds with natural spring-fed creeks are beautiful and our guests enjoyed spending the weekend there with us. It was the perfect wedding weekend and exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend!

We stayed here for a wedding that was down the hill. Beautiful setting the area is amazing. We stayed in the school house room off to the side and it was perfect for us. We had our 3 dogs and that room was spacious enough for them. The room was comfortable, warm and the bed was a king size soft. Good water pressure in the shower although I would suggest a new shower head with a hose attachment and shut off so you don't waste water. The hosts were very friendly and had great advice on what to do in the area. The food was ok, not the best but the coffee was great. I don't know pricing of the place since it was paid for by a family member so I can't say if it was worth the price.

Stayed here for a retreat w/ a group of approximately 50 ppl. The staff was incredibly friendly and couldn't be more accommodating. It's family owned and operated, and Carter really made us feel like we were part of it. (no spoiler: his grandmother, who started the business, is an amazing human being) The food is southern comfort and from scratch, The cabins are clean, comfortable, and very homey with spacious outdoor and indoor common areas! Visit. You will love it!

We recently had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect. Not only is the venue itself stunning, but the food was AMAZING and staff were incredibly accommodating. All of our friends had such a great time and are still commenting on how much fun they had! Everyone loved every detail, from the tobacco barn to the quaint bed and breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

We stayed one night just to get out of the city. Everything was amazing from the thoughtful hosts to the beautiful landscape and trails to to comfy room with a view of nature and the incredible food. We had dinner and breakfast and everything was prepared beautifully and tasted amazing! The fire pit after dinner was the nice finishing touch! Thanks for a much needed and beautiful time away!

This place is whimsical and magical!! We used it for a music video shoot for a wedding scene and I instantly wanted to get married again THERE. It is absolutely beautiful and their food/catering was out of this world! So grateful to Carter for allowing us to use this beautiful space.

I spent the weekend here for my bachelorette party. It was fabulous. It was cozy and the host was amazing. We arrived and they had left out snacks and drinks for us and wood to use in the firepit. I loved sitting outside by the stream and taking in the views from the barn. I would recommend this place for a getaway because it really was an amazing place.

April 20, 2018 My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at at the barn, at night with lights in the trees, candles, and fire pits. Absolutely nothing that we would have changed. The place is a rarity and the staff are so kind and welcoming, they helped make the whole evening flow perfectly. We would recommend Hatchland Hill to anyone.

I attended a ladies' retreat here and the whole experience was wonderful. The cook was very accommodating about the various food allergies in the group and made sure to provide gluten free options. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and the grounds are beautiful. All in all it is an amazing place.

Beautiful property 30 mins from Nashville. Perfect spot for a group. We have 12 for a work trip. Did dinner and breakfast on site and Chef Carter did 2 amazing meals for us. And we got SNOW! Highly recommend.

Beautiful venue for my brother's wedding. The food was amazing and the setting breath taking. Handicap accessibility was pretty difficult but we made it work. Everyone was so helpful and kind though!
