Attempted to properly file a small claims action with this court this morning. The staff was embroiled in some kind of internal office drama when I arrived and they continued to discuss it in my presence. I was told I had the wrong forms, so I went back to the office, prepared new forms and when I returned, the same clerk told me they could not take it because the defendant was in another county. Turns out, they were wrong, but I strongly suggest not using this court if you can avoid it. The female, blond clerk I dealt with is extremely unprofessional and the rest of the staff seem to be only marginally better.

I contacted this precinct for assistance making numerous calls even requesting to speak to a supervisor. I was spoken to VERY rudely by Sgt. Sims. He definitely needs to take a class on professionalism and how to have empathy for the public especially being in the position of a leader as sergeant. I ended up calling the Houston Police Department who responded.
