Not helpful . Very poor customer service. Vet did not seem to care about my cat at all. Was more than happy to have him die. I went home and give him the basic he need and he is now recoved no thanks to you guys. Front end staff member very rude and uncaring. a judgment that I would be unable to pay the money to have test down on him the next day. Was offered to put him down. Was not offered the most basic of care which would have been to give him so electrolytes. Which your vet was well aware that he had been vomiting. Not eating. For three days. It should not matter if the animal is old or not they are should receive the same care all round. It disgusting that money seems to be the first things not care and concern for the animals. As for you call out service for people who have issues coming to you . This was also a big issues when ask for . I won't be back and I will let other know about my experience with you guys and I have already had several other people tell me about the bad experiences they have had at Hastings. I visited the vet clinic with my new pup 2 weeks ago while holidaying in the area. I was fortunate enough to get in on a cancellation. The front desk staff were friendly and very professional. The clinic itself is large and extremely clean. There was plenty of parking at the front and handicapped parking also available. My appointment was not delayed at all and I met the veterinarian, Matt who was one of the most welcoming and friendly vets I've encountered, to which there have not been many to date. He did not rush the appointment. He gave the pup a thorough checking over, recorded the pup's weight, administered the vaccinations and advised me on the care of the pup given it had been 14 years since I last raised a puppy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hastings Veternary practice and yes, I would use them again when next holidaying in the area.

There is a certain VET at this clinic that I would avoid, 0 empathy and borderline cruel. On one occasion she made me headlock my dog for a temperature check, then yelled at me because I wasn’t strangling her tight enough. Every other vet I have been to just distracts the dog with treats. On another occasion We called up the clinic to describe our pets symptoms and were told to bring her in straight away and when we were seen told that’s all normal and stung us $70. Complete waste of time and money, wasn’t even in the consult room for five minutes. Unfortunately this VET has made us change clinics completely. Beware!

We brought our beloved German Shepard in after the huge sook was victim of a dog attack. The poor girl was in really bad shape and these Hero's took her in and began treatment immediately. They not only saved her life but were a pleasure to deal with keeping us updated every few hours and allowing us to make ourselves at home when visiting her over the days in care that followed. After 3 days in care we are shocked at how modest the bill was. They are clearly animal first not prioritising profit over care as we have seen so many times before. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl and saving her life.

Would give 0 starts if an option. Took my dog here while he was having a seizure the the person who came to the door told me the vet probably won't stay after hours and if they did they made it a note to mention the after hours prices then sent us away. Went back today to by some flea treatment for my dog it was 4 pm closing time and they were still at the desk when I asked if I could by a flea treatment they told me they were closed and slammed the door shut in my face. I would not bring my animals here if their life depended on it. Rude bad attitudes every time I have been clearly profit over care.

Sunday morning, been up all night with a very sick dog (4 year old jackeranian) several phone calls later and faced with a 1 hour drive to North Melbourne and a minimum consultation fee of $160 plus possible overnight care and medications depending on diagnosis, it was not a good start to the day. With little expectation I rang a local vet who just happened to be open till midday. Straight down, instant friendly service, the dog was diagnosed with gastro. Consultation, medication, coat conditioner and a lot of great advice and all for $130. Why would you go anywhere else?

I called this clinic this morning to try get a last minute appointment after my fur baby woke with a swollen head and face. I was so worried about the cost being a single mum (things can get a little tight sometimes) but I explained my situation and the staff were understanding and honestly Unfaultable. They squeezed us in last minute and The whole experience from start to finish was filled with nothing but compassion, understanding and professionalism. I am so so grateful and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Terrible heartless customer service! Because I initially took my pets to the RSPCA (because medication was almost $400 cheaper) and then I tried to bring them in, in an emergency to be told “I suggest you take them back there!” And try not to offer support or a service. How dare your staff be so heartless and lack compassion in a crisis! Usually my dogs go to your clinic for immunisations but never again. I don’t know what sort of human would respond that way! Disgraceful!!!!

So I was a frequent visited for two weeks and the team were very helpful. First my new puppy hurt himself and the Vet (Stef) and the lovely nurses helped out in reassuring the wife and I that he was going to be fine, and he was, loves his zoomies. The second time was to with our 12 year old cat....unfortunately it was his time but he is comfy at home now. Thank you again to Stef for putting up with the crying and all the questions.

Have taken both our dogs and pet rabbit here since moving to Hastings, and always have felt they look after our pets so well whenever they have needed an appointment. They have also been extremely accommodating when we have had some emergency scares with our pets too and have fit them in last minute. The pricing is very fair. Would highly recommend this vet clinic! Thanks so much :)

Great little vet with kind staff and veterinarians. I was very suprised at the honesty and genuine interest in giving me the best service they could - which in this case meant suggesting a competing vet that had more specific equipment for the procedure my boy needed done. Prices are excellent and will not break your bank. The place to go for caring and genuine pet care.

The staff are very friendly, there's an onsite physio and they can do smaller surgical procedures. I had a sick pooch that had to stay throughout the day, once a week for a few months and they were more than accommodating. Some things may have been mishandled initially however there was a good outcome in the end and after buying the owner a few boats in vet bills.

The team at the Hastings Vet Clinic have been looking after our black lab (almost 13yr old) for the last seven years. The care has been warmly consistent, the advice has been spot on and the two operations she has needed in that time were accurately pre-quoted. This is a clinic with people skills that loves their animals. We're really happy with our experience.

We have dealt with the Hasting vet clinic for over 25 years and they have been fantastic and they would deserve 5 stars out of 5 ,until today when we had to have one of our chooks put down , the receptionist that attended us would have to be one of the rudest uncaring humans we have come across normally they are just fantastic to deal with at this clinic . On Sunday 16th feb at 10am we had to rush our dog Bonnie to vets. No time to make an appointment. Unfortunately nothing could be done to help her so our beautiful girl was put to sleep..the vet on duty and young girl on reception were amazing. Wednesday we received a hand written sympathy card. Cant possibly recommend them highly enough

I called up after my Golden Retriever dug a hole and cut her foot on glass. I was very distressed and I was told to bring her down, and we were quickly seen and assessed. The whole team was amazing, and helped keep me calm and gave my beautiful girl Luna, the best of treatment!! Thank you so much for all of your help ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Only went into the Hastings Vet to hand over a native baby bird had fallen out nest/tree in my yard and was worried it was hurt as my dog was playing with it. The staff were very friendly and politely taken the bird from me. Was told it will be released later in the same area it was found.

I've been there 4 times in the last 7 years. 2 of those times was to euthanase a pet. The staff were compassionate and helpful which was very comforting. They seem to really care about animals here and are very professional so its a goog place but expensive as all vets are. Ample parking.

Always great, friendly service here. The vets are thorough and always have your pets best interests at heart. Happy to have them as my local vet and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Have had the best experience going here and the treatment my pug has recieved over the years is A+!

The vets and support staff here are incredible. The vets were always professional, knowledgeable and caring. We were accommodated during a number of emergency situations and our old lady Dora was always well looked after. Thank you for all your hard work.

Hastings vet has been a delight to deal with. Both in relation to our middle aged dog needing booster shots and treatment for an ear infection and all things new puppy related. Everyone has been kind, professional and happy to give advice when needed.

Westernport Vets are the best vets on the Mornington Peninsula. The care, love and quick service they provided to our 14 month Border Collie was amazing. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you to all the staff at Hastings and the Somerville clinic.

First time clients, as the RSPCA unable to help with vaccine. We took our rabbit down there for a vaccination Floppsy. Greeted kindly, punctual, caring, reassuring and good quality as in price. Certainly will be our new Veterinary clinic.

Rude, arrogant staff. More interested in protocol than empathy. Overpriced and Uncaring. I have used them for 40 years and this is how they treat you. Avoid. I am also a local wildlife carer.

Moved to Hastings recently and tried this local vet. Was quoted $1500-$2500 for dental work (2-4 extractions). Returned to my old vet and was only charged $500 (2 extractions). I am stunned!

Our experience wasn't the most pleasant one as we had to say farewell to our best boy, but the vet's and staff were very caring and gentle, they gave him first class care right to the end.
