In terms of the room/food and treat by my nurse (Australian blonde girl), excellent. However, Dr Wong forgot to give me local anaesthesia for my endoscopy. Not sure how this could have happened considering that he does the procedure probably every day, but the endoscopy gastrointestinal was the most savage, brutal and horrendous thing I have ever went through. With no care at all, he put that long and thick camera through my throat, which I could feel from beginning to end. I tried to stop the intervention as my whole body was having spasms, I was chocking and clearly having a panic attack. As soon as he inserted the camera in my mouth, I knew there was something very wrong there, but I trusted that I was in good and safe hands. I have formally complained and still waiting for, at least, an apology from Dr Wong. I still have nightmares about it, and it has affected me psychologically, as I feel guilty of not double-checking that nobody in the theatre had applied the throat spray beforehand. Therefore, I trusted all the doctors there and that's why I feel I was not treated as a human bean but as another intervention to rush into. My throat is quite sore still, and it doesn't go away with painkillers. Dr Wong should be investigated, and I will escalate this complaint as far as I can to avoid this medical negligent happen again to somebody else.

When I first came to this hospital, I was unsure of it as it is very small, a little dated and the car park is tiny. I have visited on six separate occasions now and the thing that sets this hospital apart, is the people who work there. They are exceptional. Everyone is efficient, kind and goes the extra mile to look after you. Today in particular, Marble, a member of the nursing team, took such superb care of me, I’m incredibly grateful. There had been a mix up with my paperwork by the consultant team but it wasn’t an issue at all, she quickly resolved the matter for me, going above and beyond, to make sure I could have the tests needed and my journey wasn’t wasted. She took such lovely care of me and was incredibly kind. What I also observed was that Marble was showing a member of the front desk team how she was resolving the matter so that they knew how to help patients in future-this natural, on the job training, striving to help the current patient but also making sure all members of the team can help future patients is what makes the level of service in this hospital so strong. This hospital is now my primary choice when my insurance company refers me, purely based on the wonderful team and individuals like Marble who make each visit so seamless.

One of the very best experiences I have ever had (at the Sudbury Eye Clinic, Brent Community Ophthalmology Service) even when compared to private facilities. The reception and nurse staff are second to none. Starting with a 2 day reminder for the appontment to booking the follow-up. Very clear with the process and triaging, initial checks, etc.. My appointment with the surgeon and her explanations and support were brilliant. Excellent all around. Thank you!!!! Wish all engagements through the NHS were similar.

Absolutely amazing service with friendly and professional staff. My nurse, Carol, was reassuring and warm and conducted the measurements with consummate skill and precision, while keeping me abreast and my spirits up. My doctor was also a wonderful testament to the great care this hospital provides - expert knowledge and advice coupled with a very human touch. Highly recommended!

Since the op, I have had regular physio sessions with Natasha. She has been brilliant throughout and helped me get back in my feet as quickly as possible. Thanks for the support Natasha.

I came to do a blood test for a health check, I was quite nervous as I don’t like needles. The lovely Marble greeted me and made me feel at ease, I didn’t even notice she put the needle in! She was very professional and understanding. The man at the front desk was also lovely. The whole experience was a 10/10!
