Extremely poor customer service! I went to Hertz Klemzig because I had to pick up a rental car provided by our insurance company. I dealt with Angela, to whom I gave our insurance policy number. She said that she can't help me and my wife needs to attend to pick up the rental car. I insisted that the policy is under both our names so why does my wife need to attend and why can't I pick the car instead. She said it's not her problem and told me to contact my insurance company to sort this issue out. She wasn't keen to help me because she was busy watching Tiktok on her computer. I requested to speak to the manager. She called Daniel, the site manager to have a chat with me. He started talking to me in a tone indicating that I don't understand English. He also reiterated what Angela has said. I found debating with both of them pointless and humiliating as if I was wasting their time. My wife was in a meeting, so she had to leave the meeting, email insurance documents to me so that I can pick up the rental car. I had the insurance policy number, my licence and other IDs but they weren't interested in helping me out. Thankfully Ranusha was working there. He processed the documents and provided a car to me with a smile. I will never go there again. It's a pity that I had no choice because our insurance company picked Hertz Klemzig. When I told Daniel that I will write a formal complaint, he dared me to do it. I thought he was joking but he was dead serious. So there you go Daniel, that's my complaint formally written.

Very rude Asian women ‘ Who works behind the desk & inspects the trucks before you can hire them ... I took my own videos Incase I was accused of damage charges ... And yes ! I did have a feeling she would try accuse me of damaging the truck and she DID !!! There was a old RUST mark ‘she wanted to charge me for the damage but I took my own video luckily and could provide evidence it was already on the truck ... She was rude and spoke to me like rubbish whispered to co-workers about me while I was watching !!! Have NEVER been treated with such little respect EVER when paying money for a service ... I recommend you don’t deal with this women very rude and unkind I feel very disrespected However the rest of the mail workers are very friendly and professional and treated me lovely Would use them again but stay clear of the lady My 3 family members were very offended and didn’t want to deal with this rude women But thanks to the nice gentleman everything was sorted out professionally..., If your using a truck or van definitely take videos of the entire truck / van The 1 star is because this women totally disrespected me and my family and tried to charge me for a old rusted scrap damage !!!!

I had a car organized by my insurance company through this rental site. Whilst picking up the car, another customer was complaining about the amount of fuel the car used, he apparently had rented the same model the previous week and it wasn't anywhere near as "thirsty", he provided photos, fuel receipts, etc. I didn't think much of it and left. However, when I went to return my car, I filled the car at the station, but when I got back in, the fuel gauge only went to 3/4 full. So I tried to put more fuel in, but it wouldn't accept anymore and just kept clicking off, so I paid the additional $2 I forced into the tank, but the gauge still showed 3/4 full. I returned the car 100m away from the station, explained what was happening, they mentioned the car was due for a service. They sent someone over to the station in the car to "fill it up" he returned, said it took another $2.15 (ie. it would have just clicked when he tried to put anything in), so they still took that amount of my deposit. Seem to be something weird going on with their fuel gauges and economy with some of their cars.

My husband and I hired a truck for our move. Gentleman who served us was friendly and explained terms and conditions clearly. We hired a sack truck also to assist with the move. My husband drove the truck up the freeway and when he was almost at the Crafers exit - where we lived - the transmission light came on and it started to lose power. Hertz had an almost brand-new truck delivered to us within half an hour, and took the broken down one away! As a courtesy they then gave us an extra days hire at no cost due to the inconvenience we had, and also did not charge us the rental on the sack truck, On a side note: the tow truck driver, pretty sure his name is Shane, delivered the truck with a smile, despite it having just started to pour rain, including some hail!! He told us he had only recently started this job, so we think he will be an asset to the company. Will definitely hire again!

Hired a 3 tonne truck last week and I accidentally left my wallet inside after returning it. I called them and they assured me that it wasn't inside the truck. I even explained exactly where it would be. I called back at a later stage wanting to double check and they bluntly told me it wasn't in there and they'll let me know if they found it. A week later I get a call from the police informing me that the person that hired the truck after me located my wallet and handed it in. They probably didn't even bother checking in the first place, poor service.

ANGELA! The nasty asian woman behind the counter is Angela. Had a 1 day rental, was told if i returned the truck before 5pm that day I'd receive a %15 discount. Upon return they argued that the fuel wasnt "completely' full, despite filling 2ks down the road, and that i wasnt entitled to my discount. Slaved in 40 degree heat to get that truck back on time. Manager didn't give a toss Dealt with hertz before and usually great, but this klemzig store... Steer clear!! Not to mention near impossible to get into from northeast road when they open at 8am

We hired a small truck on two separate occasions. The first time was fine Until a few hours later,the asian behind the desk called up and accused us of damaging the truck. Luckily i did a video on my phone and showed them. The second time the Asia lady behind the desk was extremely rude, I asked to use the toilet and she screwed her face up at me and gave me a dirty look. Made me feel like a second class citizen. Wouldn’t of gone there if it wasn’t for Shaun. He was fantastic. Be sure to take videos of the whole entire vehicle inside and out.

HERTZ is just passing on the vehicle from one leaseholder to another without checking anything. I noticed during pictures, tyres pressure was too less, later found it was just 160s compared to specified 240, that means they never filled back air. Not recommended to anyone as their vehicles are never maintained and unsafe to drive and on top of that it forces to sign and initial onerous T&Cs. Regulatory Authorities please take notice of this business. I'm sure, one may lose life easily driving HERTZ unsafe poorly maintained vehicles.

Hired a 8 ton truck from these guys. Wasn't bad enough that the truck isn't kept up to scratch mechanically which saw me fighting the steering all the way to Roxby downs and struggling to get over 60-70 in most cases on a 110 km road. I was told the fuel is low even though it shows full on the guage as I had filled it up almost to the point of spilling back out before I returned it. Seems like they are quick to take your money without putting much at all if any back into their own investments. Won't be returning.

Hired a hilux for 3 weeks while my vehicle was repaired , took the time to wash and clean the car at my expense prior to returning after being used on work site , was cleaner then I recived it originally treated the car as if it was my own , Re fueled the vehicle with approx 52 lites just near the hertz drop off point , was then charged $10 because apparently the gauge was not “perfectly on full” Pump clicked off on full what a joke Absolutely rude staff , after explaining it was filled up 5 minutes prior

Truck was not ready to go when arrived despite prepayment the day before. No one shows you how to use the vehicle, the staff said they would send a YouTube video but never did. Staff closed the yard before the designated return time resulting in me having to store the truck overnight. They also tried the usual trick of saying I did not fill up with fuel despite having filled it full at the petrol station next door. Generally rude and unhelpful all round. I would not recommend using them.

The muppet here with glasses has got no clue of customer service. The guy here was rude and throwing the clipboard for customers to pick up. This clown should know that to sign something you need a pen which he never offered for signature. May be Hertz need to send this employee for a customer service course. I have picked up car from Thrifty rentals and the staff is so professional. Will never go back to this branch where companies employ idiots.

I will avoid this place in the future - Van was fine no problems there but had hidden charges when it came time pay-have hired elsewhere & never had hidden charges from other companies - I even questioned it verbally the day before and was told this will be the refund amount you will receive (you pay a bond upfront) but no they wouldn't honour that - put me off ever using Hertz again will go with reputable companies

5 ton Truck returned with full tank, filled on route to return, told the needle was above the Full mark, but not as it was at start of rental. Utter BS. Had receipt in cab to prove. Told I will be given benefit of the doubt. Cheers! Wonder how long it will take for the deposit to be returned.. Future rentals will be made elsewhere. …

Front of staff was not helpful when I didn't have the right cards on me. She gave me no other option but to walk away disappointed as it was within 20 mins of them closing. I could have been gone and come back before they closed, but she said no. Customer service is meant to be about finding solutions, not being cold and heartless.

We are two "older aged" women shifting our niece and hired the tuck away lift truck , the staff were brilliant in showing us our to work things safely they were extremely efficient with detail on hire process and the service was faultless. Truck was modern and clean. Well done Hertz Klemzig you deserve recognition.

I was impressed from the beginning with the reception service, the van was very good, rate was good and the return process was quick and efficient. The backed each stage up with emails including photos of the van and invoice details. Thoroughly recommend this company and this site in particular.

Booked through them last week. Ryan was very helpful, and went out of his way to make sure I understood everything in the contract and how everything worked as I had never driven a truck on my own before. He was very patient while teaching me the ropes. 10/10 would use again because of him.

Had a hire car organised by my insurance company. Staff were organised and helpful. Everything went smoothly booking in and booking out. Was all very quick and easy. Not sure of the prices as it was all covered by my insurance company. Hertz was definitely good to deal with.

I got a rental car from here whilst my car was in for repairs. Customer service was great. My insurance company hired the car for me but it was one specific car. When i went in they gave me a choice whether i wanted to upgrade to a better car. So my experience was good here.

Hired a truck, weren’t told it didn’t come with a sat truck as most other truck places have one included. Had to go back to Hertz and pay extra to hire one... Won’t be returning nor recommending to friends or family.
