Never ever had I such a bad experience especially dealing with the Store Manager. I totally understand the COVID protocols and max capacity policy, - to stand in a line for one hour to purchase something when it’s freezing out - it’s one thing and a choice of everyone, but to stand in the same line just to make a return - is different. Won’t it make more sense to have two lines then and for the customer service have people to come to the hall only but not entering into the store? It’ll be harder to manage but way less stressful for costumers who already stayed in line for more than hour to buy something that wasn’t good product and needs to get returned now. It’s just about humanity... Store is great though and all other staff is always helpful and friendly. But management should be more thoughtful.
home decor and furniture store. however not the kind where there have shelves stocked of the same thing or dozens of couches laid out. it's almost garage-sale like, as there are many many different things but kind of scattered about, and if you find something you like you might only find one or two other of the same item. (i wonder if they are owned by winners) i find lots of cute stuff here though. despite the eclectic vibe, i find it more interesting than going to mass merchandiser stores, useless you are looking for something specific or multiples of the same item.
HomeSense is a cool store with various home items at reduced prices. They have everything from furniture, pillows, bed sheets, paintings, kitchen utensils, and more. Sometimes you find a good deal for something you really want. But, much like the Winners Store (its clothing equivalent sister company) you have to go through a lot of items to find something you want to buy and take home. Still, if you are in an adventurous and browsing mood, it can be fun to stop by here and shop for things you don’t realize you need :)
This is the second homsense in wpg that has people doing cash, that dont know canadian currency. I paid the associate the exact amount in cash. He took each coin and was examing it, turning it over and over to see what it is. It took him almost 2 minutes to count 25.00 plus change. The associate next to him seemed embarrassed. Very nice guy, but this is ridiculous. Managers need to ask employees if the know canadian currency and if the can count it, before they put them on cash.
This place is utter chaos!!! I was appalled by how people had no social distancing etiquette and how the staff were too busy talking and yelling at one another and yes I said yelling to be helpful. Two chasers were yelling at each other about who could go on break next where a third cashier had to apologize to her customer for the scene. For shame. People were constantly bumping into others and would not stay proper distance away. It was sad. And for shame on the staff.
I love this store! They always have something new and interesting to look at. They have practical things for your kitchen, and all other rooms of your home. I particularly love their coffee selection. Their olive oils are yummy too. Everything is affordably priced and I really love shopping here. Sometimes it is just fun to walk around. The lines are never long, and the staff seem happy to be working for this store. Keep up the great work HomeSense!
Sean is a Fugezy Store Manager that is run by his staff! The Assistant Manager Shirley is even a bigger joke. Myself and my cousin were racially profiled by an Indian associate at checkout. All the store Manager did was give us an ingenuine apology. TJX you need to do better when it comes to hiring fit Managers who run your stores. Unlike these two unfit individuals that don't deserve the roles whatsoever!
My wife loves HomeSense so I have been there lots. I like the decorative furniture to sit on as my wife browses the multitude of pictures and decorations. Sometimes I browse the housewares while waiting for my wife to decide on a new lamp. I always find something fun to occupy myself at HomeSense while my wife has the best time shopping.
I normally love Homesense however right now they don't have much stock in. It is no fault of theirs as a clerk informed us that the warehouse is in Toronto and just opening up. Many empty shelves! She did tell us that a delivery is coming today and one daily next week. Worth your while to wait a week or two before going.
If you're a whiz with money and have no budget, this is a great place to spend it on for home decor. Though, it's important to note that the prices are ridiculously high. The bathroom section is very modern though but for most of the other furniture items, your way better off going to IKEA instead.
Bought furniture here and they were very helpful recommending a delivery service and the manager was super fair in the discount she offered for a small defect in the item. Delivery service was NV Concepts! Highly recommended - they delivered for $75 within 2 hours of me calling to arrange service!
I can't get enough of this place. Nearly all my kitchen items and decor are from here. Everything is high quality and excellent prices. Just know they don't carry anything consistently. Always new stock but if you're coming in for something you saw last week, it likely isn't there today.
If you're planning on going in this store make sure you have lots of time (and money) they have SO many amazing items! Home decor, home essentials, baby/kid essentials so much to choose from and great prices on almost everything! Definitely on my top 10 list of places to shop! …
What a fabulous experience we just had with a manager a this location - Tricia. She corrected an issue we had with a purchase immediately and was so friendly and helpful to deal with. People like Tricia are what all stores need to succeed!
A fun place to visit, even just to browse. They have beautiful objects and unique pieces for the home. Inventory is always changing. One downside is that products sometimes have minor damage, so inspect it well before purchasing.
Sometimes you stubble across a good deal, other times it's a miss. The one problem is you have to go often as the stock changes so often. But if you are the type that loves to shop then you will like going all the time.
I love this place so much! New stuff all the time, excellent prices and selection. The staff are super accommodating. I've dropped way too much money in there, but my house is looking gorgeous! Highly recommend!
We went looking for a rug and they had exactly what I was wanting. Nice variety of rugs an be prompt service. Also so many unique items in the other departments. I also picked up keto pancake mix to try.
What is not to love about this store?!! So many things to look at, bright colours, beautiful items for your home and once in awhile you find a pretty decent sale item!
One of my favourite store for all of my household items from breeding to plates and home decor they have unique, high end items at a fraction of the cost.
So funny . Just bought this one as a gift for my friend, Two price on it. But the cashier said our piece is 39.99. So ! What is 29.99 for ???
Helpful staff that will carry large items to checkout to place on hold as you shop. Inventory always changing. Store ranges from $ to $$$
Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in Winnipeg was able to find the round canvas I was looking for too …
Lovely but pricey items. Staff offered no welcome, ignored most customers. That was sad and off-putting. Expected better.
Love the stuff here! Even though it's the sister stores of Winners and Marshalls, this branch has lots of great finds!
Love shopping here. Always spend more than I anticipated. Great selection of home decor and furnishings.
Great assortment of home decor, home furnishings, and household supplies. Cheaper prices.
This one is fine. Well organized but too much stuff that makes the store feel cluttered
It was good. Do they carry BBQ items.
