Place is pretty good, there is very less crowd , You can reach there easily. Entry is free Today is 1 Jan, but still there is no crowd at all Canal is pretty well maintained Water level was high than a month ago I would recommend you to go there and Enjoy some tranquil moment And yes , there is shop of momos, maggi, tea, Fries, ice-cream and there were 2-3 stalls I would recommend if you and your mate has any stall You can open there , because there is pretty okish crowd (people will definitely come in future whenever it gonna get more eyes of visitors ) But yeah still there were atleast 100 people , and most of them were families and some with friends Tip:- Install benches there, we don't have a place to sit there Add lighting for night view , it would increase engagement of people as well as income for stall owners/workers , I saw a huge opportunity for people there and for people to enjoy some tranquil moment ✨ Hope govt will look over this and make this place even better And please don't throw trash there (it's our property so we have to take care of that)

The water was dirty so not five stars. but we got few good pics. Its pretty far enough that unless you understand what an aqueduct is and care to watch it, the travel maybe not worth it. Your mileage maybe better on days when water isn’t dirty. The view of the sunset from Indira Dam looks very spectacular, which you should not forget to capture in your camera. This is a great place to visit with friends. If you wish, you can take food and drink items with you, however you will find corners of fast food here. Now that you have reached Indira Dam, do not miss the dream Valley Natural Park, it is located just to the left of the dam.

Don't visit after the sunset( in dark) especially with ladies. As this area is so separated from main city and empty , its not safe to go there in dark. Any mishaps can take place. Go in the morning to watch beautiful sunrise... or in evening to watch sunset. (Return back to main city before getting too dark if u r going in evening... especially with ladies) Nice peaceful place.... u can sit by the side of canal and can listen the silence. Greenery everywhere... less crowded... No or less food items are available here... bring your own water bottle. I go here to find myself again nd take a rest from busy city life. It's approx 20km from Hazratganj.

Such lovely and peaceful place. If u visit in morning u will get such beautiful view of rising sun. And at evening good view of sun going to his home. I spent more than a hour there and I didn't feel bored there a single minute. In my my suggestion every age group people should visit there. If u want to spend time in peaceful place so you can go there to spend time with family, parents, friends and partner. Go there there and experience such a great view and good atmosphere with full of natural good vibes.

Very good place for outing and photoshoots . You can also shoot for your songs and pre wedding as the location is really very good . Also you can get few stalls for momos , ice cream , samosa , tea etc . Overall a great place to visit . This place is really soothing and relaxing . Just stay few hours here and you will feel really great . Visit in the morning or in the evening during sunset . But do try return before it gets dark .

We had gone to this place on a bike ride. It is way out of the city but it was worth going. Many spectators go to watch the mesmerizing view and others to make reels for their social platform. To the end of it you can have some Maggie, momos and ice cream. The current in the water is really fast. I saw exactly 5 dead animals being floated off Including cows, buffaloes and dogs. It's definitely a one-time place.

Indira dam built over indira canal is a popular getaway place for lucknowites during the weekends. You can find lots of street food stalls and thelawallas selling snacks, beverages etc. The view is beautiful and if you visit during pleasant weather then it becomes even better. you are not allowed to climb up the dam due to security reasons. Good place to visit but there is nothing much to see. One can witness beautiful Sunset and sunrise from this place.

This place is to escape the rush of the city. Visit here when you want to enjoy greenery with flowing water. This place is for spending some quality time with family and friends. This place has small food stalls to satisfy your small hunger needs. Chai here is good and so is maggi. Go here and spend some time away from traffic and rush of Lucknow. Talk to your friends or family by sitting beside a flowing dam.

This place is amazing. One of the finest chill out places in outskirts. You will experience the nature like never before. It remains crowded on weekends specially. You will find a lots of street food thela on Saturdays and Sundays. Indira canal is a perfect long drive destination for couples and newlyweds. You can reach the place via faizabad Road as well as from Amity University. It is a perfect picturesque place. A Must visit place in good weather.

I would like to warn the visitors that beware of the electric line passing outside the canal bridge. I saw a place where a naked wire is just a few mm away from the structure and that could cause the current leakage to the bridge I am adding the photo of it. It looks like there has been carelessness in tying the wire. It would be appreciated if respected department secures the hanging wire.

Good place to visit at weekend. Nice place to sip a cup of tea while looking at the nature, and an engineering marvel. You would also find some locals fishing there, so can buy fishes from them too, or you can phish some out yourself.

Very calming place. Do visit. But keep your children away from the railing. As the railing height is very low. Best time to visit is in evening or in rainy days. The road to canal is also peaceful. No traffic and audience over there is also less

It's a very nice place to go. You can go there alone to spend some time alone ou calm your self or to look inside you or you can go there with your friends to chill or eat Maggi or ice cream. But trust me don't go there with intension of commiting suicide or to finish off a fight with someone.

Nice place to go for a drive with your friends and family and hangout. Just a place to get good view and get some good pics clicked. You won't get anything to eat here except one tea stall. Be a bit careful during rainy days as the water level rises and flow is very fast.

Nice view, can visit with family and friends but lacks some street food vendors. You may only get chai and samosa there and sometimes ice cream and nothing else.
