The supermarket is near the library in Handsworth. It has an excellent selection of Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic brands of tinned, jars, packaged goods. Quality and variety is commendable. If you are looking for beans, rices, sausages, cheese, olives or jars of roasted aubergines they have an excellent selection. They have a butchers downstairs and a bakery upstairs. Upstairs along with the bakery for bread and cakes are household goods and Turkish tea, spices etc. It is a store packed with merchandise. The best selection in Birmingham for Turkish/Kurdish goods. Open 24 hours a day.
Went to buy 3 packs of ginger tea, 1 pack had £3.39 the other 2 last ones on the shelf may I add had a price of £3.49 I asked would he do all the same price, after a heated argument over really nothing he was ignoring me and serving other customers which is rude hax he hadn't dealt with my complaint which was why 3 identical items had 2 different prices, they all had the same barcode and same sell by date so was all produced at the same time, this is the same shop that sold my mom out of date water im sure trading standards would have a busy day in here
I am fuming because the guy at the till was looking at me like I was about to steal something when he knows that isn't my character. I am done going there. I am sick of black women and biracials being painted with the same brush as black men just because they do degenerate stuff. What is the point of looking over to see if someone will steal something if you have a massive CCTV camera near you? He was going above and beyond and I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to make me feel uncomfortable.
Great supermarket with a lot of to choose from. The best thing they are working 24/7 so whenever in need of something it is always there for you. Great staff always helpful and speedy when things start getting busy if anything they could expand a bit if possible maybe so there would be even bigger range of products and more space for more customers but either way I think they are doing well and always satisfied with this shop when I have to visit. Thank you very much.
Visiting once or twice a month. 24 hours open that's why a bit pricey but you can find whatever you want in there. Downstairs Butcher and grocery items. Just keep in mind Butcher section is closed at evening not full open. You can find many products from Turkey. At Upstairs fresh bakery products and desert section as you can have baklava and kadaif desert as you can see from pics. Moreover middle eastern items kitchen stuff and spices and Teas.
foul place, staff are rude and unhelpful and there is often problems or drama going on outside, NEVER visit after dark unless being mugged/robbed/attacked is on your bucket list of things to do... there is a smaller 24hour shop further up Soho Rd opposite Lidl, go there if it's urgent and nowhere else is open but avoid the International at all costs... ☣☡☢☠☣
Shopped here for 16yrs or more and my husband has shopped there for at least 20yrs. Lovely shop, not much room so have to be careful when going round as its packed with different items. Get all our Turkish food from here. Believe its changed hands...shame because all the lads there were lovely. Still very friendly, polite and respectful staff.
This store is very pricy! You can find the same item few doors down from it pay half of what they sale. Also you can buy alcohol and halal meat which I was amazed about it. Personally I will not recommend it to anyone to shop there but for those who are local you can try around the corner from this store you will find better price.
I used to shop here for everything in my groceries. The staff were always very helpful and courteous, specially Mohammed. I don't think I've came across a good groceries as such! Their quality of poultry and range of Asian groceries is also great. Their prices are also not high …
Staff show respect where respect is due, they are never rude to me. As a 24hr shop, they manage their business quite well due to their location. Which others on the road wouldn't be able to do as they would have done it already. Guys, keep it up as you cater for everyone at anytime.
✊✊This evening I spoke with the person who was Kurdish he was Very helpful respectful & good mana , he was work in the shop , he give me a time to look for the products I was looking for through the phone Before I travel to the shop. So he safe me a time & fuel …
Nice supermarket packed with different products and juicy fruits. However I don't recommend stopping there at night. Harassed by druggies outside for spare change and cigs. 15 mins I was in the shop these dudes harassed everyone outside. Been told it's an everyday thing …
Open all night for everythin ya need, great if ya run out of beer! Bit pricey but that's to be expected in the middle of the night....just wear a bullet proof vest when ya gew after 12 on the night! Ha haaa
A real cosmopolitan experience. Unfortunately we didn't get what we wanted....Turkish lamb seasoning, but we come out with some Turkish Chicken seasoning and Indian lamb seasoning. We'll give it a go!
Quite reasonably priced considering it's a 24 hour shop on the main road Generally friendly staff and a good selection of alcohol, continental foods and fresh produce …
My 3 bank cards was stolen from my car and was used here a total 20times and when I went to the store, they were not friendly, says they have no cctv to show
What a wonderful shop with lots of variety in food and drink. Great friendly staff prices are reasonable too you might even get lucky with parking outside
This has to be the most amazing supermarket I have ever been to the range of goods is diverse. Everything is high quality and reasonable priced
Great 24h, but it's have fresh bakery and some white breads are not baked throughout, finishing at home owen didn't work out
Very good selection of Turkish and other Eastern European food. The shop seems a lot more organised than on my last visit.
You can find anything you want in here. Bakery, butcher, groceries, produce, off-licence, fresh sweets and desserts etc
Its 24 hours shop and quality products... They're so polite and friendly.... love you Sakiiiiiiiii …
Very very expensive avoid other shops are cheaper around the corner ninveh road rude staff also and racist
Very bad for shopping date expires very expensive don't put the price because they over charged people
Convenient place to shop. When everything else is closed. Definitely beneficial with it open 24/7.
