It was a sad and desperate experience. At about 4:30 this afternoon, 27 november. I was treated very badly at jbhifi in the heart of Adelaide. A stout man with blond hair. He was wearing a gray coat with a purple lining. He rudely refused my request to buy an Apple card. His reason for refusing was that I had come to the store for the second time today to exchange my Apple card. He asked the female clerk, who had long black hair, and got a positive answer. I just put my apple card on the table rudely. But I did not buy an Apple card at gbhifi today. I haven't been to this gbhifi store. So I sent a request to the blonde serving clerk to examine the past footage to prove my innocence. But five minutes later, I was treated even more rudely. A man with black hair, glasses, pink and white stripes, and white pants called me to the area where cell phones were sold. Tell me in a condescending manner that I am simply not eligible to buy any Apple Card today. I felt confused and confused. He tried to ask the reason, but he expelled me in a very insolent manner. And when at the door, the bald man who checked was very loud and said not to come back. I really don't know why I was treated so disrespectfully. I never thought something like this could happen in Adelaide, such a warm and nice place. It's really sad

Poor customer service in mobile phone section. I spent an hour in the mobile phone section today (31/10) around 12:09am was ready to place an order but can't get any service at all. There was just one sale person (looks like a supervisor, but is definitely most unorganised type) in the area and he was talking to another customer for like an hour (not sure if they are just like talking to each other). Despite knowing I am waiting with a small kid for almost 20 minutes, the sale person didn't bother to let me know how long he can serve me. I have to ask the sale person whether anyone else is available and how long he can finish his current dealing with another customer after 30 minutes wait. He told me he will finish the deal in 10 minutes but was continue to take a slow approach. I walked off after another 20 minutes wait. Such an unorganised place with very low efficiency for the sale process. I will never come to this place to waste my time. An online machine offers better customer service than this place.

Received scratched fridge then we ask them they offer $100 reimbursement but we haven't accept then they swap the fridge again Received scratched fridge. So we decided to buy the display fridge to clarify the scratched happening due to delivery guys. But today we received the display fridge, you guys can't belive we received without scratch. So they are trying you to rip you off with warehouse scratched fridges. The biggest scame behind they cannot use the scratched fridge for display otherwise they have to dropped couple of $100 but instead of displays they keep all scratched fridge inside the warehouse, but most of the buyers compromised with scratch and along with $100 off. Because of the delivery take too long.

I went to buy a phone and the guy said 'hey did you know that those phones don't come with chargers anymore?' And I was like oh no, really? 'Yeah not for a while now.' Then he proceeded to try and sell me a case and then "extra coverage" whatever that is. I feel stupid that I bought the $29 charger because he said I had to. Sure enough I opened the phone box and it had one already. Then i felt humiliated and almost didn't have the courage to go back and return it. I won't ever be going back. And will order things online from now on.

Very poor customer service once again. I wanted to purchase a gaming chair for $750, which I was advised by a cashier that a sales person would come to assist and to go wait by the chairs, they never did come, warch them joking around with another salesperson while leaving the customer to wonder what is happening. Not sure where the comms break down happened, but seems you have to ask for assistance multiple times before anyone will help you. I simply wanted to purchase a gaming chair, third or fourth time this has happen in the Melrose store. Just terrible service.

Came to the store on a Saturday morning. Was not overly crowded and there were staff walking around, but no one came to me in the phone section. Even the security guard looked surprised as they could clearly see me standing there. So chased a person down and said I wanted to buy a phone. The guy was not really interested, did not try looking up a cover for me and did not up sell. I ended up spending $699 on a phone, but I also wanted an additional cable, a cover, case and earphones . I got them somewhere else.... Service was terrible. .

The counter staff are great and I’ve ordered some products for click and collect and it’s always been great, but trying to get floor service at the moment is impossible, I was the only customer in the TV section for 15 minutes, no one came to serve me. A guy did walk in to the area play with desk area and then walked without saying anything. I also rang up to ask a question and the counter staff could not get TV staff on the phone. I’ve bought a few small things worth about $100. I bought my TV, worth a lot more, elsewhere.

Love this place. It's a little further than my local store but they are willing to haggle so save even on the extra petrol getting there. If they don't have it, they will order it in and for the sale price even if the sale ends before you get the item in. Great range if stock. The people in each department know their stuff but you need to see another department person if it's not where that persons area is. Easy to find someone when you need and it's all bagged up and you're walking out the door with a bargain every time.

Amazing customer service. Purchased a laptop for gaming, did all my research beforehand to make sure it's capable of playing the right games. Not only was the laptop slow at starting up but it was super laggy with all my games no matter what settings I had changed. Went in store looking for a refund and was greeted with the most amazing customer service. They had upgraded my laptop to the next specifications for free. Big thank you to not only the manager but to the sales worker. Highly recommend this store.

Had my laptop become faulty after 13 months. The staff were willing to help until they realised there was a minor crack in the screen which had nothing to do with the fault with keypad. The staff then became unhelpful trying to talk me in circles to get me to do as they want. I went to the Rundle Mall store and had a much more pleasant experience and was able to send it off for repair under warranty with no issues. Melrose Park could have done a lot more to listen and help and chose not to!

Today I went to the store with my RA from DJI. One of the team member helped me to refund my money and he asked me about my original payment method. But as my bank card was canceled at the moment and already has issued me a new one. So the first guy who helped me, seek more information from one of his team member who was wearing a yellow t shirt working inside the counter. This second guy was very rude. He don’t know how to talk to customers. I’m very upset about that team member.

For an old fogey it can be a touch overwhelming but it's an Aladdin's cave of good stuff at generally competitive prices (and they match price for you). Depending how busy it is, the staff are very helpful, interested in your journey and happy to follow questions up. JB keep on the leading edge of trade so often can't be beaten online, and with the support of a real store and options to extend warranties its kinda worth staying local. My new earbuds are sweet @ <$50

Salesman was ok but when we went through checkout they messed up the money so had to redo it all. Standing there waiting for ages thinking that he was trying to fix it. I said how much longer and he said hes waiting for authorization. What!!! we have just been standing here and you are just waiting.The manager must have been on a break so we were waiting for her to come back. What a joke. It was at least 20 mins standing there. It is a birthday present Bose Headphone for my wife, she doesn’t like color. after opened, try on. Two hours later, I went to the store to exchange black one, but they can’t exchange once opened. The problem is store put the notice under the shelf where is not easy to see … store should better to keep telling the customer the policy of product purchasing, Or PLEASE put the notice upon where easier to find… Poor service… very disappointed

JB HI-FI has almost everything you need in the electrical/ computer / phone/ whitegoods. I recently bought my dishwasher and my phone from there. If you call them, you are never on hold for very long at all and you always get put through to the right department. There's always someone by the front entrance ready to direct you to the right area or find a staff member to help you. Polite and knowledgeable staff make this my go to place.

I went to the store to buy Apple TV 4K, helpful staff, one in particular verified the item was 1 of 2 in stock but couldn't find it. This male staff member member went through every available cupboard trying to locate the items because they were not where they were supposed to be. He was so persistent, I could not leave, eventually he found the items and a sale was made. Thank you for your persistence and honesty, well done.

The staff are honest about products even if that means loosing a sale. Congratulations JB Hi Fi you have earned a loyal customer I really like this place and highly recommend it. Prices are competitive! As someone who shops online mostly, a shop has to offer something I can’t get online and this place does. It has stuff you otherwise might not find with good prices. I always shop here and in the last week have spent a considerable amount. Today though I head in to click and collect with 2 kids. I ask for a bag after I click and collected. The bag would be to help me carry and navigate 2 kids. After spending so much on my click and collect the checkout bird proceeded to ask for 15cent for the bag. A common level of decency wouldn’t go astray.

This is one of the best JB hifi in Adelaide first they are big but easy to navigate everything is placed where it makes sense. The staff were friendly and helpful clearly well trained. I got everything I wanted on my list. They also have me a discount on a few items.
