1st time coming here and the service was quick and efficient. The menu was easy to see by the register or you could order ahead online. I got a 2 meat plate, roughly $18. Brisket and beef sausage was seasoned amazingly but the potato salad made me cry. I was all excited to try it, it was colorful (full of bell peppers) and looked like it was going to be amazing but the bell peppers overpowered everything and I couldn't take more than 2 bites The mustard greens were great‼️They tasted like big mama had put all her love in the pot. My hubby had ribs and brisket with baked beans and Mac & cheese and his plate was better than mine. I definitely should have followed his lead and got the same sides he did. The portions were great for the price. Only suggestion I would make is to maybe include a drink or a dessert since the plates average about $20 each. Other than that, I was happy overall and I'll probably be back again soon.

This little place is inside a gas station which maybe you see that or read this a go… I dunno about that…. Don’t let that stop you from getting in on this delectable food. I had the sandwich and that was top notch Brisket. But, the better part of my visits here was the staff. They were extremely friendly and we had a good conversation while I waited they even let me try a slice of the All Beef Link and let me tell you that was amazing. Looking at this little slice I noticed immediately the perfect little pink smoke line…. If you know BBQ then you know that’s worth every bite. If you live in the area and haven’t tried it you’re missing out… for those that occasionally travel around looking for little hole in the wall places to eat then this place should make it on your list.

What an amazing experience I had visiting Jacos BBQ! My nose literally led me to this spot and I’m so happy it did. Terrell was super pleasant, gave me a summary of all the options and helped me choose the meats for my baked potato! He didn’t lead me astray and the beef sausage links are excellent! I also enjoyed the beans and corn goulash as my top 2 favorite sides. Put that jalapeño cornbread on the menu asap! . I definitely will be back to try other menu items and cannot wait for you all to expand to your restaurant location. Don’t think twice, go check them out!

Loaded Baked Potato with Meat

This was my first visit to Jacos, and I was unsure what to expect, but I was blown away. It was obvious Paul took great pride in his food as he allowed me and my wife to sample just about everything on the menu before we ordered. Everything was so delicious that it was hard to choose, so we got brisket, homemade sausage, chicken, ribs, Mac-n-cheese, beans, and greens! All was great and we will definitely be back! Great job Paul.

Ok where do I start? This spot hands down has the best bbq in Texas not just Houston alone but the entire Texas period!!! They actually bake their Mac & cheese & it taste like heaven. The ribs literally fall off the bone & the brisket & sausage are perfectly seasoned. & the dirty rice absolutely makes no sense how good it is. The owner is sooooo kind and generous yet very friendly! Which is a plus because having awesome customer service matters. Try this place & you will not be disappointed. The food talks to your soul & it taste as if it was truly cooked from the soul & with love. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Thank you!!!

This was my 1st time going. They had a special 2 for $8.00 sandwiches. I got 1 Chopped beef and 1 sausage. These were the tiniest sandwiches on Earth. The Buns were smaller than a McDonald's Happy Meal. The sausage taste good and the chopped beef was not chopped at all and they forgot to put sauce on it so when I got home I had to put my own barbecue sauce on it. Excellent customer service from the person taking the order terrible customer service from the one chopping the meat he was very annoyed that I changed my order.

Oh my delicious goodness! We eat here often and are never disappointed. The brisket is so juicy, seasoned perfectly and tender it melts in your mouth! In love with the pitmaster perfection of the ribs and those beef links??? To live for! My family and I love the potato salad, mac n cheese, dirty rice and I personally have a special love affair with the greens. Delicious! Our 6 yr old loves the baked beans as well as the loaded baked potato. The customer service is also top notch. Service with a smile from an awesome family owned business. I kept seeing this place on a FB group, so I took that as a sign to give it try on Saturday. OMG the brisket and ribs were both tender, moist, and flavorful!! You know it's good when bbq sauce messes up the flavor. Who needs sauce when the flavor holds on its own?!?! The dirty rice was savory. I wasn't a fan of the potato salad, but that's only bcz of personal preference in liking mine more like deviled eggs. Overall, it's pretty darn good enough to try for lunch. But this time I'm guna try the chicken and sausage, mac'n chz and green beans.

Delicious food and even better service! Terrell made my day and I highly recommend you all go meet him. Get the Beef links they’re amazing.

So let me start by saying maybe I caught it on an off day. So I got the 3 meat plate with chicken,sausage, and sliced brisket. My sides where potato salad and beans. The brisket was extremely tuff with very little flavor in the meat. The sausage was bland. It had absolutely no taste what so ever.. Now I will say the chicken and the beans where amazing!! Potato salad was edible. Then the price you pay!!! If the food was worth it… it wouldn’t be an issue at all but for the food I got today….makes no sense….

The meat is well balanced in flavor. I had a sandwich as recommended by Pit Master Paul and I was not disappointed. Update So I stopped by today when they were closed but pitmaster Paul was kind enough to put together some beef-links for me anyway. Man that first bite had me hooked. I'm going back when they open so I can try everything else too. Don't sleep on that bbq sauce. It completes the meat.

This is is best barbecue since I came to the state of Texas. I’ve been there twice had brisket sandwich and fries. Second time chopped brisket and rice with corn, okra, sausage over the rice. It was so delicious. My favorite place for great barbecue.

I've been meaning to try this.place for a few months now and man am I glad I did. Definitely some of the best bbq in the city. I started with a brisket sandwich.....Great smoke, chard and pull apart tender with homemade BBQ sauce and shoestring fries. NO SAUCE NEEDED on the ribs....Yep. And please do not leave that place without trying the homemade beef sausage links. Jacob's BBQ is Representing Southwest Houston with pride. ...KEEP IT UP Paul!

I wasn't pleased about getting flats with the wing tip attached when I ordered a leg quarter. Whomever answered the phone was not compassionate about my displeasure. The food is good but I don't eat bbq wings and ended up throwing my plate away. I'm disappointed that I wasted my money and didn't receive what I ordered furthermore, I think they should offered me something else to make it right.

Loved supporting this local owner. We picked up an extra large order to share with friends for Memorial Day weekend. Tried everything! The homemade sausage and boudin along with the chicken were the crowd favorites. The sides were additive especially the mac & cheese. Even though I am not a pepper fan, enjoyed the potato salad. And the BBQ sauce was great! Only downside, forgot to take any photos.

First off the aroma from the food truck took my attention on my daughter's school performance. Unfortunately, they were only serving school staff but informed me that the store was near for the public. I drove over there, and glad I did. The food is amaizing and the staff was super friendly. I will be going back.

I ran over here after reading the reviews. I must've went on a bad day. The sausage taste like a weiner & the brisket had no flavor. And both were wet, if that makes sense. The best thing here are the sides & the piece of toast. I should've gone to Ray's. For $35 I got 1/2lb each of brisket & sausage & 3 sides. Definitely not worth it.

The service and food were both excellent!!! They even let us sample the food, which not many places offer that service anymore. We just moved here from out of town, and my husband and I felt so welcomed. We will definitely be back for some More food.

I had to find out for myself just how good the food was since it’s in my neighborhood. I could not decide at first since everything looked good.
