"I would give a zero star if there's such option! Ordered their online grocery and received a moldy bread! Contacted their support team and online chat support for several times but one week had passed still no one get back to me on the refund! How can you sell moldy item to customer and yet ignored the complaints and refused to refund? I wonder if they have any financial issues since they don't even intend to arrange a refund for a moldy bread and completely ignore the customer! Went to the deli section and told them the meat looked off, they didnt listen and insisted that it was fine so i decided to trust them since they should know better when it comes to the products they have in stock compared to me who’s just a casual customer. I went back, ate the meat and right after that around 1hr later i started vomiting and having stomach pains, almost felt like i had to go to the hospital because the whole night i couldn’t sleep. I’m sure it was the meat because i didnt eat anything else the rest of the day and was fine before that. Staff were negligent when handling the food, meat that’s already gone bad they still served and claimed it was fine. Rm50+ worth of meat and now i have to throw it all out bcs its bad. As a consumer i should have known better than to eat meat that has a very slightly tinted green colour around the sides but i wanted to trust this grocery store. Mistake to ever buy from the deli section here.

I would give a zero star if there's such option! Ordered their online grocery and received a moldy bread! I wonder if they have any financial issues since they don't even intend to arrange a refund for a moldy bread and completely ignore the customer! Read one of the reviews seem like they don't check on their stocks regularly. Customer somehow bought an expired food item! Disappointed with their service. Would never buy from them in the future!

I would give this store a 4 star. If it weren't for the old promoters who constantly gossip and make comment about customers. I mean it's good that stores are helping elderly earn money doing promoter work or whatever job available for them, but you hear them constantly making up stories regarding customers who they no nothing about and want nothing to do with them. Age is not an excuse for bad character. If they need love and attention they should find it outside workhours, and not join the 'elderly work program'. Shoppers do not go there to make friends with old promoters.

Great variety of imported fruits that changes regularly. I love the extended Japanese product section and the cured meats section leaves you spoilt for choice. My favourite is the Truffle Parma and San Danielo Parma. I buy my wines here in their Wine section and you get an interesting selection. Definitely worth spending some time here, and their pork crackings are pretty amazing. I bought their roasted pork belly for my friends and they say it's 'legit' decent. Definitely one of my favourite locations of the chain.

Have visited this chain outlet many times over the years. One of popular Jaya Grocer chain store strategical located. The store is well stock with more imported items than nearby supermarkets. We came here today to look for 4 egg yolks mooncake as our regular overseas bakery exhibition booth near Aeon fresh market was out of stock. The staff service was courteous and efficient. The prices are moderately higher. Parking is limited here.

Easily my favourite grocer. Fair prices and friendly staff. Fresh produce for the most part however I am very disappointed by the use of ripening agents on some fruits especially papaya. The papaya is bitter and doesn't taste good. We have thrown so many away. It is not just Jaya grocer but others too and this needs to stop. I have now found a few places to buy good papaya from and will no longer be buying them from JG

Wide range of products some not carried by other supermarkets. Excellent delicatessen. Generally the queues at the checkout are smaller so quick service and no plastic bag option - generally bring your own anyway to save KL from more plastic please. Has newly added section for all baking goods - ingredients, utensils and hardware. Always check the bakery for varied loaves, rolls and crumpets.

It used to be best branch in klang valley but QC has dropped alot..not to say in other branches. Vegetables and fruits not as fresh as before. Pls open and check one by one when u buy vegetables or fruits that are packed in boxes or wrappings such as berries, kiwi, tomato, potato, veges, mushrooms etc...U will definitely see one or two bad one when u home if not check properly

A good range but uncompetitive pricing. No bargains can be found here, except some expiring juices at Buy 1 Free 1 offer. The non-halal has been reorganised across the cashiers to emphasize the real world segregation. Roast pork can be found at RM75.90 per kg. A rare find of Dublin brewed draught Guinness in the special can with a widget at RM14.50.

Been shopping for more than a year, every Saturdays, and it always open at 9.30am, that is until today (11/2). It suddenly decided not to open at its usual time, and only open at 10am. Us customers that were early are left standing outside waiting for 30 mins. After the long wait, we were allowed in and yet, some counters are still not yet ready.

It's easily one of the grocers I will go to because it's near to me. Many fresh products can be found here. Always stopped by after work to buy my little one some fresh fruits - strawberries, blueberries. Affordable and advantageous for Grab Loyalty user. Just flash you loyalty member barcode and you get Grab points for your purchase.

Worst ever experience with Jaya Grocer and Grab... paid with GrabPay and the transaction went through (confirmed by Grab Support Team) but their terminal having problem and can't trace the payment.. asked me to wait for 7 - 14 working days to verify this issue... why is is my problem? To shop at this Jaya Grocer please think twice!!

Nice place to do some grocery shopping. It is not just for the adults. Mini trolleys are available for the young kids to do their own grocery shopping too. Things are well organised or catergorised. There is a non-halal department. Friendly cashiers at the checkout counters. Most items sold here are slightly more expensive. ;)

There is 1 stupid staff! I open my grab waiting for her to scan the apps for rewards point but she didn’t and straight update the system! Reloading tngo using credit card for 150, she didn’t inform there is 2 charges! This kind of staff is terrible! Should inform customer before proceeding if there is 2 charges!

  • Sean Tan

Jaya Grocer! Sigh! The staff have not been trained to care for and appreciate customers in their stores. They are so focused on their tasks, they just barge their way through and expect customers to give way to them. Tsk! Tsk! So disappointing. Find it stressful shopping here.

  • Blessed Forever

Always like to come here to buy my favourite coriander and spring onions … all meat lot of choices like ribs steak tomahawk beef also available here. . Please make sure continue to provide this fresh vegetables …

  • Subendra Thiruchelvam

One of the poorly run JG branch. Kinda surprised how it was laid out & items stored. Cleanliness was average. Prices as expected. Can get crowded. I didn't feel comfortable shopping like other outlets. Not sure why being part of a fancy & popular mall. Doubt will return.

  • ewa zallie

I like Jaya Grocer at The Gardens Mall for its availability of organic options. They have all types of organic seeds, nuts and grains. Dry food items are competitively priced. The assortment of items are a mix of Malaysian and imported food, definitely worth a browse.

Good place for fresh stuff ~ like vege / meat / fruits / etc. And a lots of unique products that hard to find from another competitors supermarket ~ but just one thing I dislike are their price a bit higher than others ... Hope they have more promo often ~

Good grocery store in town! You could find some foreign ingredients that hard to find the market outside. But still, some ingredients I couldn’t found at Jaya and I have to go to other markets to find it out. Overall the grocery experience is decent

  • Noorul Amin

Excellent, managment should have more supervision or supervisor stand by during week end to assist in counter , pity those cashier alone has to handle and end up long ques , neat , clear organised , well up kept …

  • A Louis

I was treated very badly and rudely by the staff in Gardens. And the guard started behaving very angry. Not even sure if he has a valid working permit as he looks foreign. How can Jaya Grocer employ such staff ?

  • A C

You will find most of the quality and healthy food source here, fresh veggies, canned food and etc. They are kiosk payment counter, scan and pay. What is more, you can deleted unwanted scanned product also!

  • M C

This is a popular n crowded supermarket. Liked that Chateraise is located conveniently in front. Easy to garb my favourite strawberry cakes. Arnold's chocolate biscuits on offer here. Good price M$10.99 @.

  • Jo Lee

Well stock and good variety of selection, both local and imported products. The staff are friendly and helpful, well worth to pay a small premium for the good quality and good shopping experience.

  • Shaku K

Regular at this neighbourhood supetmarket. Very good selection of the basic essentials and good quality ptoduce ie meat, fish, vegetables and fruits. Happy to accumulate loyalty points with Grab.

  • Piqal Lan

I like everything about this Jaya Grocer except that it's number of payment counters. And the space for people to line up is small so the lines will block the pathways and aisles

  • Wei Kang Yeo

Lack of check out counter Spent 15 mins waiting in queue but counter close after 15 mins (i guess staff want to go home soon although still have 35 mins to mall closure ) …

  • Timothy Lee

5 star because there is a HUGE selection of potato chips!! Good size grocery store. Note that non halal items including alcohol is separate from the main grocery hall.

  • Kun Tek Ng

Very organized and more hygiene compared to other hypermarket in MV. The brands that they are selling also more to premium side but overall their price is reasonable.

  • Mayuko K

I really like this Jaya Grocer. They have better selections of baby foods compared with other supermarkets nearby. Also, I can buy my favorite chitose strawberries:)

  • KC

Good grocery experience. They staffs pay attention to their customers. They provided kids' trolley and gave my kids stickers (as usual for all the Jaya Grocers).

  • A M

Premium grocery. Good for quick grocery shopping because lesser people. Just a bit pricey, limited local vegetables. But, a good place for buying exported items.

  • Bryan Lee

A nice supermarket but their stuffs can be more expensive as compare to Aeon and others. However they have good variety of groceries and drinks.
