an ok school when I started in grade 5, now I'm older and I don't think there should be any lunch monitors because they are still little kids and don't do the right job, for example they don't really read who's getting pizza they just give it out randomly to their favourite kid. like for example 2 weeks ago my little sister didn't get her pizza even though she paid for it they didn't give the $5 refund back. So here is a solution in my opinion, maybe stoping the lunch monitor job and let the teachers be more responsible. Other than that its a good school, just please improve a little by doing some upgrading on most things, and if you don't have money just simply do a fundraising.

JYES was always very impersonal. I never felt like the teachers payed attention to the people in the middle, only the students that excelled and the ones below average. I was one of those people in the middle and they never cared that much. The only teachers that cared about all of their students were the EA's. I didn't like this school very much.

Terrible, i had no friends because i was a black student. On top of that, 2 of my other siblings went to John Young Elementary. And both have experienced racism, not only by students, but by teachers in the facility aswell. I am now in high school, and my life took a turn for the better. I can not my life would be like all 8 years at that school.

i do not enjoy this place as it is a place of learning. this is not good. children should not be taught, they should be working in farms like i was at that age. AND ABOUT THE WASHROOMS they had very VERY hateful words written on them such as that awful "ef word" as the youngsters call it nowadays. FIX THE CHILDREN PLEASE

Look, This school was good at first but that was just a huge red flag. Its terrible how bad they treat certain students. I was a student here and now im at a middle school. They taught us nothing and I had a very hard time in grade 7. They didnt get us ready for middle school like elementary schools should.

Best 3 years of my life! I felt completely at home here, the teachers and students were all so at ease with each other. I'll forever be indebted to this school. One thing though, they could use a cleaner washroom, and even then they aren't that dirty. What I wouldn't give to have just one more year.....

i used to be at this school. the teachers make rules up yet they never scold the kids for doing things they aren't supposed to be doing. they tell you to brush it off even when it's serious. it's a good place for learning though

good not prefect school I went there (: great place to make friends also the events are cool too ex: they had a BBQ there with tons of fun things to do like a bouncy castle and games Very fun 4 stars

i hate this school, worst six years of my life, teachers always picking favourites, getting in trouble for no reason, i hope the school closes soon

An incredibly thoughtful school council and leadership. The students have many meaningful experiences and the staff are wonderful to deal with

terrible school they can afford to build a new portable but they can’t afford to pay a new teacher for the grade 6 students they’re dumb

Good school with great staff but elementary kids are wild and would do anything for attention so 4 stars

this school has horrible and untrue records I got suspensions I did not deserve
