Very poorly managed voting location. We had a very annoyingly rude experience. My son has a disability so he took several days to research the candidates and had a spreadsheet on his tablet with the candidates he was going to vote for. He was told to put the tablet away as if he was committing a criminal act. I then said, he"s using it for the notes he took down on the candidates. She then turned her attention towards me and began to correct me in the most condescending tone but I could not hear her clearly since I have hearing loss from RA. She then says she can assist my son by filling out a note card but it was already too late since he had already started the electronic voting process. Why is there not someone at the door offering that option for those who are disabled or just want to research the candidates before voting. My son was visibly upset since he could not remember who he had chosen and also could not understand what the man at the front desk was asking so he chose the wrong party altogether.

Raquel is very rude and disrespectful. When we asked for help putting money in my account she mumbled under her breath and gave us attitude. Then we simply asked for help with the printer because it was not working and she physically saw that it was taking our money and shrugged it off. She then went to her coworker laughed at us and told us someone would come help us (nobody ever did) she continued to help other people. Her and her coworker were talking amongst themselves saying “well they can wait it out”. We asked for her name and she did not want to give it to us she until she finally said it was raquel we asked for her last name but she asked why we needed it and proceeded not to give it to us that was the final straw the manager is definitely going to hear about this.

Super friendly staff. I could live here. They have WiFi, and you can use their desktop computers or check out a laptop to use if you have a library card, which is free to obtain. It's a great place to study or do homework, and printing your stuff is affordable as well. The staff is friendly and approachable, and the entire library is very clean and organized. They have a dedicated teens area, and their children's storytime is fun to enjoy if you have little ones. The staff have recently redecorated the different areas so it's a very colorful and cheerful place to visit. Additionally, it's nice and cool inside, so it's a great place to get out of the horrible Texas heat!

Two printer/scanners and a good number of PCs. Decent selection of books for the building's size. Good-sized parking lot. I also like the self-service book check-out machine--easy to use and fast. My only complaint is that the staff, while helpful, never greet me as I walk in (desk is right in front of entrance). I know it's a small thing but it would be nice to be acknowledged.

Definitely excellent people and service. I really like how they treat you and respect you. Especially one of lady she always encourage you to get more book and read more. I don't remember her name but when you go there you will definitely recognize her. Peaceful,friendly environment, helpful, clean and organized. Thank you for your hard work...

This library is awesome! My wife, son, and I frequent it. Even during these Corona virus days, the library staff is doing great work. They are very friendly and quick to take care of us on the phone. When picking up books, we never wait more than 5 minutes. Thanks Johnston Library! You rock!

Great collection of books! Librarians are very helpful! Library is clean and I don’t agree with another reviewer it is not old, they have kept it up nicely! Best library I’ve used in San Antonio! Who wants to go downtown to a newer library in the traffic mess!

Staff is always very courteous and helpful. Even if they don't have the book we are looking for they work to get them for you. Always clean and quiet. Love that there is a playground next door. Makes for a fun trip to the library for the kids!

It is a good idea to hangout and make a choice of a good book or Get on line and see what's going on. On my way home one morning myself and others were trying to catch a dog but she wasn't having it. Tired my A**O**

Early voting done here. Not too long a wait. Pretty much in and out. Loved the experience for the first time. Didn't have to travel to my own district or anything. Good people, helpful, professional

The library is very noisy. People have no respect for each other. I asked the staff “B” to address the issue, said they were busy and even when they were free they never addressed the issue.

Went to story time today and was SO very impressed. The librarian was great! Lots of engaging songs and she was very patient. There were also a variety of toys and crafts after story time!

i love this library!!!!!!! Vida is the best.. So patient and helpful when it comes to helping people like me that know squat about computers. always cheery........Promote this lady!!!!!!!!

Okay, if you are coming to vote. Walk to the back of the building to enter the library. The back door is open. As for the library itself, I do believe that it is closed due to corvid19.

The library is very clean with a large selection of books, digital,etc for your pleasure. Johnston is my voting place. They are following all the guidelines. Very smooth process.

Meeting room was clean and very spacious. All necessary outlets to plug in presentation computer, projector etc. Will definitely use again for more financial Literacy education.

Super friendly staff, & have really neat activities for kids, teens, and adults of all ages. They even had take home activities too. It was overall a wonderful experience.

Calm library with a nice playground and workout equipment in the same lot. My kids and I like to come in after playing to cool down, color a bit and take some books home.

Great customer service!! Needed documents faxed and even gave me a hand to send so nice.. free too, can't believe othervplaces want $2 or more per page UPS IS AWFUL TOO!@

This is my neighborhood library so I guess iam biased but it is awesome. Librarians are kind and completely accommodating. Clean and inviting with space for everyone.

2 bus stops, 1 arriving and 1 departing. Great staff, if you have questions, just ask. They just need more tables with outlets to power phones and laptops.

Today was one of the days for early. voting, it's the place that I went to vote for Mayor of San Antonio and District 4 council person.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get the information I needed printed and scanned and I was done in no time.

Jackie - you may want to take that stinky attitude to a different profession. Rude on the phone and rude to book readers.
