Dishonest, condescending and expensive. My vehicle was stalling out randomly while in traffic, starting slow, and the check light and TPMS lights were on sporadically. Mind you, the stalling was happening randomly every few days, it would start fine most of the time. I told them all this when I took it in and the mechanic who was at the front said it was almost definitely the alternator. I was advised to pay $50 for a "charge and start" diagnostic, then quoted $870 for a new battery and alternator (they told me the old battery was seven years old which seems unlikely given that back in June a mechanic at another shop said it was fine for a while longer, but I did know it needed replaced eventually so I shrugged it off). This seemed a little high based on my research but the place had good reviews so I figured they'd do a good job. Picked it up and it was fine for about two days until it died again while I was driving and I was nearly rear-ended, which is a terrifying experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. It was also still starting rough. I brought the car back in and they did look at it again for free, I asked them to call when they found something. They apparently checked the codes (why they didn't do this the first time I brought it in is beyond me) and texted me a quote for TWO HUNDRED NINETY FIVE DOLLARS for a new crankshaft sensor (a part that costs around $70 for my make/model of car and takes maybe an hour of labor to replace) I called and asked if they could discount the labor cost at all considering they had misdiagnosed the issue the first time, nearly resulting in an accident, and got a bunch of excuses from the mechanic, including the classic "when you go to a restaurant the food costs more than at the grocery store" justification for the labor costs. Not sure where he's eating but usually when I go to a restaurant they don't charge me 900 dollars to lie to me and not fix my car. Especially if you're a woman and/or not super knowledgeable about cars and worried about getting taken advantage of, please do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I explained what I heard and what I THOUGHT that it was. Their diagnoses was fallible/false, I SOON found out! I called KC Complete Auto for a rear shocks price quote and was told that it would be close to $500 which I was SOLD! I was told to bring it to them and they will work me in, since I did NOT have an appointment. They were able to take care of my 'requested' issue within 2 hours! It only costed me $375. YES! I was ECSTATIC! I paid and 'quickly' got OUT of there (In the 'case' that they made a 'mistake' with the pricing!:) When I heard the noise, AGAIN, after leaving the establishment, I was able to call them, allow them to hear what I was hearing and was 'strongly' encouraged to come back. Needless to way, KC Complete Auto and Tire found that the under-carriage cover lost some nuts and bolts which caused it to flap against the ground every time that the wind/air would hit based on the speed of the car. The cost? ONLY $35. In 'essence', IF Ford would have checked out my 'concerns', I would have JUST been paying a 'miniscule' amount of $35. My ADVICE? Go to KC Complete Auto and Tire. They won't 'try' to 'empty' your pockets!;)

Im a proud owner a 2nd hand car (i named her Snow), well im already the 3rd owner actually. Its not brand new so i regularly goes to #pepboys in Springfield. Im very particular whenever i hear sounds that i dont normally hear from Snow. My clinical eyes and clinical ears are always with me even if im off duty as a nurse. Lols So last night after the musical, when i was on the ramp to join I-70, i started to hear flapping noise. And it got louder while i was at 70mph. So i concluded, it was related to speed. Today, i went to this autoshop! People can easily deceive me. I dont know anything about cars! Lols im so ready to pay whatever amount just to make sure no one will get hurt while im the one behind the wheels. So i Called them and was immediately told that i can bring my car anytime. Didnt wait for so long and they took Snow inside.. Probably, after 30 minutes, they told me my car is done. They have tested and all safety features are good. And they tried everything but they were not able to find anything related to the flapping sound. And, best part: they didnt ask for any fee. They can easily charge me with 50 dollars and i would even pay 50 plus 20% tip. Hahahaha I guess, we just need the world to give us the chance to trust the kindness and honesty of people. Kudos to all the staff. Sir Dave and Sir Jeff, special mentions.

First time ever I’ve done business with You Guys at KC COMPLETE AUTO and I Am Very Impressed I brought my 2019 Jeep in to get it Diagnosed why it would hesitate to start. You paid to Uber me to work! Fixed the issue! Good thing I had paid for Extended Warranty Coverage I went back to pay my deductible, to retrieve my car BUT the time had run after 5pm! The shop & the Warranty Office closes at 5pm. OMG … when I thought I was gonna have to leave my car overnight there, one of the Sweetest ladies behind the desk offered to tk me home & they’d Uber me to work the next morning! BUT THEN ONE GUY LENT ME HIS “Peppa” (his own truck) to use, because I Also had to pickup my mom from the Day Center! I cried for 2 reasons… my car had to stay overnight due to nonpayment from the Warranty company & MOSTLY BECUZ THESE GUYS ALL WERE SOOOO GENEROUS TO ME… making sure I got what I needed!! Next thing you know, I’m driving “Peppa”, I get a call from the Shop saying the Warranty Payment had come thru & I Quickly U-turned to the shop! Paid my deductible, Thanked them for THEIR ABOVE SUPER OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will be HAPPY to Return where I know my car is in good hands of Honest & Generous Ppl THANK YOU ALL

I love this place! I have gone to both locations multiple times and have received quality service every time. Car repairs and maintenance are something that normally really stress me out, because as a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, I am always worried about being taken advantage of. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and they are also very good at explaining issues to someone who doesn't have a background in mechanics. It's not always the cheapest, but I do think it's fair pricing based on the research I've done. They also have never pressured me to get maintenance done that I didn't want to do. And there was even one time that they gave me a discount just simply because I asked. A few months ago my catalytic converter got stolen. Not only were they able to get me in for the repair that same day (with no prior appointment), but they also finished it AND gave me an oil change by the time the shop closed for the day. And then a few weeks ago, they sent me a handwritten thank you note and a coupon for my next oil change. Overall, I would highly recommend them based on my experience!

Super honest shop. My wife and I were on a cross country trip in our promaster. We stopped at a different shop to get an oil change and were told that we needed to replace our struts and CV axles before we got to our destination. I called KC complete auto and the staff was not only understanding of the situation but actually got us in first thing the next morning. We were quoted $2700 to do the whole job which is a lot of money but really for the amount of work I felt was a fair price. Jeff took our van into the bay and shortly after came into the waiting room to come get me and showed me all the parts that he was going to be replacing and told me that we were mislead by the previous shop and that we didn't actually need to do this repair at this time. He recommended us to simply get back on the road and to save the money for when something actually breaks. Thank you so much Jeff, Kristy and the whole team you can tell they care about their customers. Highly recommend them, and will definitely be back if we are ever in the KC area again!

I have visited KC Complete Auto a few times over the years. It was easy to book an appointment. The mechanics were honest with me about the condition of my car. Recently I went in for an oil change. I was given a full inspection during the service. I was texted a link with information about my car’s condition. It was easy to read and follow. It included pictures. It ranked the issues from most important to least. To be honest I only had one bad experience. It was due to a mechanic being fired in the middle of working on my car. Some things did not get put back together properly. I took my car back to them. They apologized and corrected the mistake free of charge. Last but not least they are affiliated with a loan company for car repairs. I signed up for it easily years ago. It helped me to offset the out of pocket cost up front. They also mentioned they have complimentary Uber’s if needed. I gave 5 stars because I have been satisfied with service overall.

I would not ever recommend this shop or do business here again. I had my vehicle towed there as it was closest to my job. It turned out it needed a tune up and an ignition module. I was quoted 1,100 for a tune up. I ended up only getting the ignition module replacement for 463.00. I then called my shop I normally do business at in my hometown. My mechanic advised it would have costed 500.00 for labor and parts. I called the KC Complete Auto Care where my truck was towed too and questioned them about the charges. They were rude on the phone, and said it was just the parts that were so high. The same part my mechanic quoted at 110 dollars was 300 at KC Complete Auto. They need said I must get a discount at my usual shop. Very unprofessional and comments like that are not deserved. I will never do business at this shop again They definitely are not concerned about repeat business. Don't even deserve one star.

I love Jess she was a wonderful help but my service was not that great. I went in for my cooling system and to get my belt put back on. My car was given back and my powersteering went out the same day which is electric and they didn't plug in my gear shift back correctly because having it looked at by a diffrent mechanic they showed me and the plug was literally just laying there unplugged. Also, whoever did my car also left their tool inside under the hood. I do not recommended them as I told them my steering felt weird after their service they told me I had too much air in my tires which was not correct and have yet been able to speak to anyone in regards bout the other issue they are tooooo busy. 400$ down the drain

Our family loves and appreciates KC Complete Auto. We've had one car worked on which they did a great job at finding a part, we had one part and it was stated they can't take parts from customers, but they knew of a shop that did. I appreciated the kindness and still bought the part from them to do the work. KC Complete Auto is not a shop that takes your money. It shows in so many ways they are for their customers. The other 2 cars needed a diagnostic check and since my husband knows a little about working on cars they provided him with information to do the job himself. KC Auto Complete is very good at communicating and always great customer service.

Was not ok with them not checking some work that I initially told them to check. They completely missed it and they were not clear on what service they were doing. Had me waiting extra time and miscommunicated a lot. They are very expensive and don’t seem like a very honest place to go to. The parts were very overpriced compared to other prices. Charged me money for running a diagnostic on something they said was not even needed. Very shady place. Was my first time and will not be going back. Also they lie when they say their waiting room is accommodating and can be used as a place to work from while waiting for your vehicle. Not the case there.

I do essentially all of the labor on my truck myself, but recently I found myself not sure what was wrong with the suspension. I looked everywhere to find what was making a terrible sound but had no luck finding the source. KC Complete found the problem quickly (broken torsion bar mount), was more than reasonable with pricing in doing so, and was willing to work with me even though they knew that I wanted to fix the problem myself! But if I wasn’t wanting to, or able to fix the problem, I know the team down at KC Complete would take care of it quickly and do the job right. Friendly service and I would go back again if I need something.

I was on the last leg of a road trip and needed to get the oil changed, before driving. I called at 8:00 in the morning and the service desk said to bring it on down. I explained my situation and they said they would work me in, after the car that was on the lift. It would take around 1 1/2 hours. I went and got some breakfast and walked into the parking lot, my car was being backed out of the bay! Not only did they change my oil, but also topped off fluids and checked the inflation on my tires. Everyone I spoke with was professional and friendly and the service was reasonably priced. Amazing service!!! I have taken my car to this shop and the Main St location 3 times in the last few months and they have always fit me in the day of. This past time I had my car broken into and they were able to get it in the same day on a Friday, and it was fixed by Tuesday afternoon, when all the dealerships said it would be weeks. David is amazing and helped answer all of my questions and did extra research that he didn't have to, I appreciated his help so much. Best service from a car shop I have received!

My experience at KC Complete was very efficient and satisfactory. I called the day before they were able to work on my car and the job was completed within the next day. I spoke with Jess on the phone and at the desk and was very pleased with her customer service throughout the process. Brought in a newly purchased older vehicle. I was looking for a vehicle inspection, and I knew there were a few things that needed to be done. The staff was very willing to fit me in and take care of all of my needs. I ended up having to leave the car overnight for some of the needed repairs but they got me back on the road the next day without a problem. The prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality service.

I shared twice now, and it erased 2x. 2 min. before closing (5:30) I missed their call to pick up. Called back got recording instead. Walked the 2 blocks anyway. Payed! The young lad that was supposed to drive it out of the garage couldn't start it. SIGH. After a while I heard him say GOT IT. I drove the 2 blocks back even though I wanted to run an errand. Parked turned car off, & back on. Did not start. And my car door was black from greasy hands. SIGH

Unfortunately, they sold me the wrong catalytic converter. My engine light kicked on after 5 months for the first time. There for awhile it was on then off, then on again. Now it’s just on. There was a noise in the front so I took it in . They said it was the tie rods and just as they were done, looky here, the sway bar is broken. All it ever was was the sway bar. Then they sent me on my way with my truck way out of alignment. Avoid at all cost.

called about a vehicle safety inspection and they were able to have me come in the same day, plus it took less than 15 minutes once I was there! the staff members that I met were kind and considerate. the inspection was also very reasonably priced (might be state standard) which was a pleasant surprise. overall, I had a great experience :) I can definitely recommend!

Got a notice in my Tesla that there was a low tire. Not everyone knows that Tesla has a foam liner inside each tire, but these guys did. They found the puncture hole, and repaired the tire properly while I waited. Really nice people that honestly made me feel like I was with family. Very comfortable.

Great service, had an issue with my brake. They diagnosed it and fixed in a couple of hours. Brakes had been done a week and a half before but something happened with the caliber. They made it right and fixed it free of charge. Character of a good company. Will be back!
