For the first time I find myself having to give a bad review on KFC .. being a regular customer to KFC I am absolutely disappointed.. I always hear that the specific branch is good so I found myself wanting to go there and I did yesterday. To KFC in Springfield park durban.. Ever since I walked in service was bad.. cashiers attitude was terrible.. there was no line to follow as we was the only ones there to order and the rest was waiting on they orders .. the cashier made us wait a long time before seeing to us.. and when she finally got to us.. she made me repeat myself over 5 times .. and she kept repeating the wrong thing to me.. ordered the bucket 15 pieces and 2 ice creams.. when she finally heard me she didn't even wait for me to tell her that I also wanted the ice cream she just told me the total for the chicken.. I had to tell her I'd like 2 ice creams as well.. and she made me repeat myself again so many times.. and I having my elderly dad with me told me he actually heard me clear so he doesn't understand why the cashier couldn't hear me.. after paying I asked her if she could give me my ice cream first while I wait for the chicken. Surprisingly she heard me saying that and didn't ask me to repeat.. what I found very strange but didn't think much of at the time was that the chicken was given to me in less than a minute.. I would assume if the chicken was already made it would actually take little longer to put 15 pieces of chicken in the bucket.. it was so fast that it was given before the ice cream was .. I didn't think anything and left .. I got to my car and opened and checked the chicken looked fine on the top.. to my surprise I went home straight after and was taking the chicken out and I was disgusted and disappointed by kfc honestly.. half way down the chicken looked liked someone had taken the skin part out it did not look edible for a human to eat.. I had to give it to my dogs to eat.. and the ones on the top that we ate was completely terrible. The chicken looked like old chicken and it was salty tasted horrible.. it didn't taste like kfc nor did it have the smell of kfc.. I am utterly and most disappointed in kfc.. from the customer service being so bad the cashiers bad attitude and looking like she hated her job to the food quality being so poor and only word I can use.. disgusting.. I don't think I will ever go back to the once spoken so highly branch of kfc..

After monster jam 2023 we went to kfc the lady took our order and there was about 4 to 5 cars infront of us. Long story short we waited almost an hour when there was 5 cars in front of us in the drive through. But people that went in side where getting served faster then us. It was only after I saw another staff asked him what's going on he tells us the computer system is very very slow and that's why they taking long. But they are closing at 10pm only reason I went there as check there website which said opened 24 hours And the guy said they have chicken so they will serve us. When I asked how long that will take he didn't know. The lady that took our order down should of told us they having issues. And she was going from car to car. In that hour about 6 cars had left the line. Eventually I asked the car behind me to move then I left. I settled for 4 pies. When my order was the 8 piece family treat. With small pop and 10 dunked wings. I'm not happy with this service! I have come in there a few times before I know the drive through is slow! But yoh we where hungry and we new kfc will be faster then any other food outlet close by!

On Friday the 23 June I decided to try the new KFC down the road it was a terrible experience the drive thru is not a drive thru the wait was too long I ordered the 10 pc Family meal n to exchange the two coleslaw that comes with it into mash n gravy, bought a coleslaw separately n a bucket of wings the service off the staff was very unprofessional,when I got home everything in the family feast packet was dumped not set in a proper manner like how they normally do it n the best part when I got home there was 3 coleslaw s in the packet I neva eat KFC without mash n gravy the food was very tasteless it didnt taste like how KFC normally does the wings were very bad I tried calling the number provided but no answer I couldn't even take the food back as I was alone at home n hubby took car ...I have to say my first time experience was horrible n I will not buy again my order came to just below R500 n it was not worth me spending so much money

Clean fast service. And 4 Years later I need to edit my review as everything else in this country is falling apart so is this branch. From 5stars 4yrs ago to 2stars now. Trading hours means what exactly? Online it says 10pm but arrive her at 9 15pm front doors closed. Security says go to drive thru...the person takes my order and says for pieces waiting time 20min I say no problem and the face changes gets upset why? I can't argue or ask anyth with the fear of what might happen to my food. While I'm typing this review in the parking lot as I have to wait here and they will bring my order to me....the Security goes and closes the entrance gate at 9 30pm sharp. So that means if I was a few minutes late I too would have driven all the way for nothing. But then it's fine IL drive to the kfc opposite the atrium mall by the shell garage because they give amazing service. So kindly owners/managers of this intersite umgeni branch....edit your trading hours on Google to 9 30pm so we don't waste our time driving to this branch. Thank you.

Purchasing meals from this branch has always been a good experience! The staff are friendly and remember regularly customers by name. By far this is the best branch to purchase KFC from!!! When meals are prepared they are done with care and enthusiasm, not to prepare as many meals as they can to get rid of customers.

Extremely poor Covid Protocol. On arrival a staff member stands with a thermometer to take your temperature. Next to her a male staff member with his mask around her chin. She measures my temperature and it says 27. Batteries flat.... The lady taking your orders mask is under her nose and then she keeps pulling and lowering it to talk yo you. Not sure if the masks are too thick? She then handles the money with the same hand she used to lower her mask.. Staff huddle on the left with could have been a shift leader / manager with 4 staff around her and her mask around her chin. 2 x staff come down from upstairs and push their masks up, walk straight into the kitchen and start handling food for take away customers. Touching serviettes, chips and all containers. Not impressed. When will people learn that this behaviour is a huge risk?

Appalling service. I went to buy 2 box master meals and 4 wings and eat in on a quiet Friday afternoon but ended up spending 30 minutes without getting my order because it seemed like they have no proper order tracking system... They use facial recognition... If you order and just look at your phone you can spend an hour because you not giving them the eye contact... Messed up the order I had to go back to the cashier twice to pick up first my 1 drink and went back again because i opened up the packet and there were no wings... They just seemed so out of place and distracted like they've been told end of shift there is a party somewhere. I was very disappointed. I felt like I should have used drive in... The service seems quicker that side.

This kfc is by far the worst I have ever come across. I got to the drive thru and the lady taking orders was extremely rude and inattentive I had to repeat my order 5 five times before she got it correct. Then when I proceeded to the next window she was still very rude, abrupt & inattentive as I asked if I could please get 4 plates for my kids to eat from. She looked at me then took a call and walked away while I sat and waited. After 10 min another employee sees me then asked if I was being helped. I asked for the manager and she gave me a name saying that manager is not in. I will never advise anyone to use this KFC as their service and standards are extremely shocking. I will never ever take my family back there.

5 of us ended up here for ice @ 9pm. 2 cars in front of us didn't move for over 15 mins. Apparently they were too far from the sensor. Common sense should tell the waiters inside that their drive through has cars. Anyways, we placed the order and proceeded to the first window. Order was 50% incorrect. We repeated the order again and went through it with the lady. At the end we waited 20 mins in the car and they still had one small chips short. The chips felt like day old although they said it was fresh. Anyway we told the lady we short one chips. All she said is sorry. Nothing i can do. Never had this experience at this location ever before. The staff seem incompetent.

It's a 24hrs KFC. But everytime my husband and I went there, it's so limited. I love the pops and the zinger chicken, but everytime late at night the staff don't sever the full menu....not sure why.....then why call yourself "A 24hrs KFC". You sit for 20min in the drive through, went you get to place your order and pay, then the lady tell you to park in front, you wait another 13mins. They do this to show they are serving the customer quickly, to get better ratings. They have a timer for each vehicle. I just hope the next time things will improve.

Worst service I have ever encountered! Wednesday 22nd I decided to grab a quick bite from kfc... or so I thought. I used the drive through and waited 15 minutes to approach the order station. When I arrived to place my order there was no response waited 5 more minutes infront of the machine still nobody to take my order. The line moved forward so I assumed the machine was out of order... i got to the next window and explained my problem and the women refused to take my order definitely a waste of time I will never go there again

If you order here they always forget to pack an item. A few times their chicken was still Raw. A couple times when I placed an order as soon as I got to the window to pay and collect I was told that they are sold out on the item or they do not have any creme soda. The other day there were no straws with the paper cups. So if you are driving you have to concentrate on drinking from the cup. Pathetic service from the staff who have side comments in another language assuming you do not understand what they are saying.

THE FOOD IN THIS BRANCH LACKS TASTES NOT ALWAYS BUT MOST OF THE TIME WHEN I ORDER. I MOSTLY ORDER THE ZINGER WINGS WHICH NEVER HAS ANY ZING TO IT. Dated 24/07/2020 at around 18h00 & only got seen to around 18h35, this branch used to be my favorite kfc , 1st issue was a very long waiting period whether it was at the drive thru or in store, 2nd issue all out of coleslaw, 3rd & final issue which unfortunately won't have me going back to that branch ever again, the chicken itself was extra salty, oily and had a bitter taste to it, it's either KFC has just lost its flavor or its exclusive to this branch.

I have just recently receive my order today iand I called you guys to let you know that I have receieved 3 instead of 4 dunked wings, last week I ddid not receieve the chips. I have paid afull amount for this order why this keeps repeating ? I called just right befeore the uber eats delivery guy left and no one picks , this is really dissapointing as we always place our order to this KFC. I want my complete order I have paid R125

Pathetic Service. One hour and forty min wait. Its at 20:40 at night to be told there are no drivers available. Cannot transfer my order to another store, cannot arrange anything, call center is a waste of your airtime and time. Their drive through is also failure with missed items and a lack of "service with a smile"!! This store needs a complete front line staff overhaul!

In this day in age employees at fast food joints just do their jobs however this particular KFC went the extra mile and that's something you don't see often. I was waiting for our meal with my little one, and they were taking long with the mash and gravy so the lady gives me the large items instead of the regular size as they were taking long. Small gestures like this make all the difference. Hats off to them on their service.

Horrible, I drove through the drive through and the intercom wouldn't work so I went over to the next window where I then ordered my meal, the lady that took my order didn't even greet me. I was then told to park and walk into to get my order, bare in mind that we in the middle of a pandemic. after 10 to 15mins I was given my food without the carrier paper bag. I asked for my money back and left

Hi guys, it was one of the worst visits to a KFC ever. The kitchen was dirty, and the staff were rowdy, making such a racket. Waited forever for our order, and off-course, one order had to be incorrect. So, I had to have the pleasure of going back to the counter to get it sorted. Very poor customer service, careless staff, and a poorly run store. I would never recommend this store to anyone.

Need to fix up the road is bad in KFC road but no complaints yet need to, introduce hot burgers spicy one in the burger not the source for hot eating person like overseas they have in dubai and Thailand China and etc

There was a long queue at the drive through. The problem there is that the lady manning the drive through orders sounded as if she never have done this before. She does not understand your orders, does not speak clearly, repeat orders wrong. You could see the frustration on the other people's faces and hand signs. Placing our order wasted so much time at such a busy time slot.

Drive-thru was terrible and slow that when I got my food, the burger was just soggy and terrible. Wasn't about to complain because then i would've had to wait another 30 minutes for my order. Terrible from KFC Springfield.

Absolutely horrible experience , chicken was over cooked or re-cooked - tasted rubbery. Staff were talking so damn loud to each other and causing an unpleasant atmosphere. Left this chow as it was unappetising and bland. What a waste of money ps also stale mini loaf @ a cost of R 7. Wont be back to that store

Poor service... Chicken was fine. However the chips was terribly hard. I asked them nicely to please give me another chips and the lady jst went in the back with the chips I returned and jst put a few new chips on the top and just gave me bk my same hard unateable chips.

Standard fare on the menu. It would be great if they could clean the dining area every now and again. This branch is generally dirty in the dining area with diners leaving their empty packaging. This in turn seems to left for hours or until somebody complains.

The entrance and exit of the parking lot is horrendous. Hopefully you guys would consider revamping the parking lot? Or at the very least redoing the driveway on both ends. It would make a world of difference and change the experience of this branch completely

One of the slowest thrus in such an active area. Also did not know that there's no hot drinks or pops sold after 00:00AM, not sure how true this is with other branches but if only the drive thru was faster I would have got a hot coffee. Just my luck I guess

Service was not great at all while we were paying the guy was so tired it was around 11:30pm he put R1121 instead of R121. Which was so terrible and could have gone very very bad Luckily my dad was extremely sharp. Food was still good tho.

Service nice and friendly but its the second time I have ordered a twister and theres less toppings and chicken in than a mini twister. It's quite disgraceful as you pay so much and the twister is pathetic in size. Won't go there again.

Staff more interested in balancing till than serving customers. I had to wait until they finished and only after being.reminded that customers are waiting to be served did the staff member apologise for the delay. Only 1 till was open.

KFC has always been my favorite....... it's tasty fresh and no long wait on their drive thru.

It wasn't too shabby. The store didn't have alot of people so it was easy to order inside and the sitting area had no-one. Food was well cooked however, the place itself is tiny. Especially where you have to stand to order.

No positive energy at the outlet .....I have been to that store 100's of time and it's still the same ..... seems like ppl are there just to earn a paycheck. That outlet has lots of potential if it driven with good energy .

Very disappointing, tiny and unclear menu. Drive thru operator was very muffled and haughty. Food was average, surprised however at how much smaller the sprinkle pops are. They can definitely work on improvement.

Quick service, friendly staff. Your food comes to you hot. It has a public restroom ,enough parking ,enough seating. You can get coffee from here. On a hot day you can enjoy a krusher or even grab an ice cream

Very neat a newer KFC . Service standards are efficient and fast . Ample seating upstairs . Parking is a bit small has a drive through option has well. One of the very few open 24hours , drive through only.

Super fresh food always. Never had a bad experience here as compared to other branches. Parking is very limited however I prefer them for the take away option

Very convenient, parking is great. But, the drive through was extremely slow, the service wasn't good and the chicken was unbearably oily, and the tomato was going off. Chips were perfect though.

Their food does not have that funy after tast when the food cool down like so many other restaurants have these days, live it to bits. Well worth my while to go out of my way to buy from them.

It's a decent enough KFC, nothing out of the ordinary, nor anything to complain about. There is sitting room upstairs for sit in, as well as a drive through. Toilets are nice and clean.

I've just bought Variety Box. Wow the chicken patty is bitter bitter bitter. The drumstick skin is too hard. The bun is old. I only enjoyed the drink and the chips. Close the shop guys.

Says breakfast is from 6-11am but have been at the gate since 7am. Gate only opened at 7:15am. They are watching us, saying nothing.
