Good prices but crappy hours and spotty customer service. What LQ closes at 8p??? Not to mention having an employee accuse me of already "having to much to drink" when in reality, I was just really tired and worn out from work and having not drank anything alcoholic yet, I was forced to drive to another LQ to buy a 40 oz. So, because of that I'm not spending any of my hard earned money there again. Being rude, condescending and presumptuous is no way to run a business. Quarters employees treat me much better and with respect but not the lazy dudes at Kelly's on Jaun Tabo. They're more interested in whatever movie or sports event is on the tv"s they have going non-stop all day everyday. It's as if the business side of things is secondary to the employee's engrossement in whatever form of entertainment they are consuming.

I stopped by to pick up a small bottle of alcohol for a receipt that called for it. I ask the employee behind the counter to help me. He kept trying to up sell me with information about the type of tequila and he went on and on. I finally said that I wasn’t listening.(just kind of kidding) He then said “I was just trying to educate you. What He then said I’m not going to sell anything to you... I ask the other counter employee who is still on his phone if he would sell it to me. He said no, you look like you’ve had too much to drink. What a great excuse to not serve customers. I had not been drinking . They both acted rude and like they were throwing a temper tantrum. I use to buy a lot of alcohol for my company. Not any more....

Went in for a growler fill today. Was forced to wait after people who came into the store after us to get it. As we were waiting the associate told another employee to make 'growler fills wait, because they aren't making any money off them'. Mind you we also bought other items, and are regular customers of Kelly Liquors. Not cool. I'll go to Total Wine.

I like this Kelly location much better than the one at Juan Tabo and Central. Their prices are lower and the staff seems a bit nicer. Also, there are no vagrants hanging around this location. It's not a Total Wine but if you are looking for something different than the grocery store this is the place to go.

Bill was $5.04 I had a $20 and a $5 thought I would take 4 cents from the penny bowl so the cashier would not need to break the $20, but the guy would not let me and said that was not what it was for. I thought he was joking, he was serious. Horrible way to treat a customer over 4 cents. NEVER GOING BACK.

Three stars because they routinely close before their posted closing time. They do have a really large inventory and a good variety of cold beers especially the 4 and 6 packs that are discounted. Watch their pony prices that are higher here then the gas station on the next block.

First time in this location, which is a shame because I had a great customer experience. I was discussing beer with another customer and the staff offered several opions on the subject while I was checking out. As a former beer retailer I appreciated their input. Great staff.

This place is not much of a looker, outside or in, but their beer and liquor selection is remarkable. What they lack in quantity (it's a small store), they make up in quality. You can find fairly uncommon spirits and top shelf regional and international beers, here.

Not much liquor stores left in Albuquerque, and this is one of your only choices. Doesn't have specialties but most common sold items. If you ever get cherry or brandy let me know. No christians or E & J. Is there something better?

Just got a warning from these guys. Seems that they have long standing policies that are not enforced, and they conceal information, then blatantly lie about it. Someone has reached them. Close them. You are going to lose BUSINESS.

The employees closed the store early on Sunday night, tonight. Very unhappy. Thought the owner and others should know. There were several of us trying to come in at 6:30. They wouldn't unlock the door. Please fix this!!!

couldn't buy liquor because this store and the one on central have grandma hours and close at 8pm for all the old ladys, people need alcohol past the dusk of sunset for goodness sake you need better hours

This Kelly’s is very friendly and always has a good selection to choose from. I make sure to come here first when I need beer or liquor! Never once had a bad experience here.
