DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY… patient neglect is an understatement… I called 5 days straight last week at the correct time to get an appt & no joy. I then complained direct to the surgery & they advised to download an app & book on there so I did. My apot should have been at 9:20am & I had to chase up the surgery at 1:30pm as I did not get my call. Due to the nature of my work I requested an evening appt from the receptionist but yet, the gp rang me at 2:36pm & I couldn’t answer due to being in a meeting & I did state that I would be in a meeting at that time. I then called back & requested that the gp call me again & was promised this would happen… guess what it didn’t! I have now called again at 5:51pm & spoke to an extremely unhelpful & rude receptionist by the name of ‘Sim’ who cannot even string a sentence together & stated the gp rang a number of times… absolute LIES. I only had the 1 missed call. I chased the surgery 3 times today & I shouldn’t have to. I will be reporting the gp to the gmc & the surgery to the cqc as they cannot meet basic needs of patient care or adhere to appointment times at all. Not the first time this has happened either. Also, read the other reviews … I’m not lying about their total disregard for patient care.
Called up at 8:30 constantly with “lines busy” until 8:40 yesterday for them to finally answer but no appointments left. They gave me an appointment for today @7:00pm which doesn’t make sense as they shut @6:30pm. Got a call @2:30 today from receptionists saying they got the time wrong and my drs actually going to call @7:15pm for which I have waited over an hour to receive a call and still nothing ! Not happy as it’s an ongoing issue which started last year and nothings been sorted about it, despite calling multiple times throughout the year and them diagnosing me with something over the phone without them actually seeing the problem !
One of the worst doctors in Birmingham grew up with this doctor's when Dr aurora ran it be was my doctor for over 19 years I moved house and returned 7 years later my god how its changed worst thing I ever did receptionists are like the bouncers of the NHS the Dr's do not care over 7 months I've not had my normal medication for my nerve damage they do not care nor can I ever get a appointment for my disabled daughter they are just rude and say call back tomorrow every Dam day AVOID AVOID AVOID
majority of receptionists are rude with zero customer service and they feel they have the right to question why you would like an appointment be it with a Doctor or Nurse. Receptionist Gillian needs training on answering telephone calls. When a patient has finished speaking and is waiting for your reply rather than not replying and leaving them wondering if the line has gone dead. Here’s a suggestion say “ok bare with me” with regards to the practice Dr Arora is a very good Doctor.
I have to say I am very surprised at some of these comments.. The receptionists are always polite, friendly and very helpful. The nurses are bubbly and put you at ease straight away. I don't know all the Dr's by name but I adore Dr Arora, he is kind, thoughtful and very caring and thorough. Dr Harsha is also an amazing caring man and also very thorough. Lastly, I have never, ever called and not gotten an appointment for the same day, you just have to.call in from 8.30 am.
Called in at 8:30, lines been busy and I have been constantly ringing in, 8:37 the phone answers and all appointments have been took? Clearly must be another way to book your appointments that people clearly are not aware about... I wouldn't care if the appointment was for me but its for my kids... so not happy with this atall as this isn't the first time. Reception staff need training, don't know her name but she needs to learn how to communicate properly.
Dr Arora is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever encountered. He cares for all of his patients deeply and wants what is best for them. The reception staff are friendly and helpful too. Mistakes are rectified quickly and with the minimm of fuss. A big thing against this practice is it's decor. It urgently needs renovation. When you step through the door it is like stepping back to 1989.
un helpful and spiteful staff i would treat a animal better than these people ,after all so suffering in pain these doctors dont care to help you they don't be leave what you tell them and there best answer is to give you paracetamol even when you are in agonizing pain they are un caring people that leave you suffering in deep pain .
I have never known a practise like it. The receptionist jill is really rude.decided i couldn't have my meds or speak to a dr. My meds are for epilepsy so potentially life threatening if i dont take them.why do you think you can play god with my life. Makes me mad as everytime i call etc she is extremely rude
I called so many time for an appointment but they always said all appointment booked ,call us 8.30 but they not answering ph i have very bad throat problems which causes breathing problems sometime i have to make sure before go to the hospital but they are not even responsivs
Dr harsha is the most understanding doctor I have had in years I left jockey road for this surgery and am so glad I did as jockey road is awfull and the staff at kingsdale are excellent a big thank you guy
Phone in the morning got appointments for 6:20 got there 6:15 (I was not very will) and it was closed.. don't tell you anywhere the times it closed or opens on the internet or website ....what a joke
This isn't nowhere near my actual name but I am a patient there and was told 25 is to young to get cancer by Dr H Hathurusinghe, but Dr Arora is a good man and good at his job.
Its always hard to get an appointment, when you call in the morning by the time you get through no appointments regardless to them advising you to call.
The receptions are all the time i phone they are so rude as long as know reception is very polite and help full in any where i going
a joke will not let you pre book appointments. and are so rude no consideration vile
