The lighting in our house was targeted as a quality-of-life upgrade and we weren't sure where to even start. Our whole house used task and fixture lighting and left a lot to be desired. After the scope of work was laid out, we had to make some adjustments, and Kirsch Electric was very accommodating. The electricians who arrived for the job were on time, very professional, and incredibly creative in how they handled structural curve balls thrown at them by the original builder (wonky joist layouts, non symmetrical room shapes, even tracked down the cause of intermittent noise as interference from an old wired smoke detector that did not jive nicely with our choice of dimmer switch. All issues were resolved and we're very happy with the work that was completed. We would strongly recommend you give Kirsch Electric an opportunity to bid on an electrical project you've got coming up, both big and small.

I need look no further than Kirsch for all my electrical needs. This is my 2nd or 3rd time engaging their service. My Mother has also had Henry do work for her. This time I had Jon to assemble & install 3 ceiling fans, 2 switch outs (existing light fixture to fan with light; very reasonably priced) & one completely new install which required a permit & follow up electrical inspection. Jon handled all of this while very clearly explaining the quote. Knowing it was higher than I anticipated, he even offered me the option to split the job. I opted for the completion, as it's been hot. A/C isn't practical in a century+ home & I find ceiling fans today to be a very efficient option for cooling in the summer & distributing heat in the winter. He also helped me with 2 minor smoke alarm issues. He was professional, pleasant and worked diligently. It was a much longer day than he'd expected, yet he didn't rush, cleaned up any mess involved, didn't leave until making sure if I had any questions & provided a temporary bill. This was on a Thursday before the long weekend & by Tuesday I had a second copy of my bill paid in full & a copy of the Electrical Inspection Certificate, all taken care of by Suzanne. I highly recommend Kirsch Electric!

We recently moved into an older house and needed a bit of work done -- hardwiring our doorbell, fixing dead outlets, and installing an EVSE. Kirsch Electric made the entire process seamless! Suzanne and Henry were very responsive via both email and text. We quickly received a quote for the initial walkthrough. Final cost was exactly the same -- no surprises. John and Preston, the folks who did the job, were amazing! Very good at communicating their process, giving us a heads up where need be, and the end result was brilliant. Ours was a long work day for them (about a 5 hour job due to some issues with some of our studding) but they powered through and cleaned up afterwards as well. We now can use previously unusable outlets, can let our video doorbell run on a more sensitive setting, and are ready for when our electric car is delivered. The company also arranged for a subsequent inspection for final certification of the renovations. All in all, a great company. Our highest recommendation!

A recent power surge had put our house's 50 year old fuse panel on its last legs. I called Kirsch Electric and explained the situation to their office person, Suzanne. She managed to send someone the same day to access the situation. A new panel was required and paperwork was immediately started. I'm very satisfied with the professional and quick service I got from Kirsch Electric. I received the quote the same day I asked for it, and the job was completed over two days the following week. The first day, the two electricians worked steadily for the full day to replace all the receptacles, fixtures, and switches from aluminum to copper. On the second day, one electrician upgraded the fuse panel to a circuit breaker panel. He did a very thorough job and made sure that everything was working and labelled on the panel. I cannot recommend Kirsch Electric enough! From the first communication right to the last, they were extremely professional every step of the way. They responded quickly to every email and call. When visiting my house for a quote, the technician was very thorough and talked me through process so I knew exactly what to expect. My biggest fear working with contractors is always having the project take so much longer than the timeline they give you/ not being reliable. This is definitely not the case with Kirsch. They completed the rewire by the date they told me it would be done and communicated with me every step of the way. Henry was a very knowledgeable professional that did not rush me into any kind of decision when troubleshooting a circuit breaker on an older panel. We talked for 20 minutes or more about various alternatives and I was comfortable that the job would be done correctly and in a very reasonable time frame as I was selling my house. Even though I thought the markup on the circuit breaker part itself was high, I was confident that any problems that I might encounter with the circuit breaker would be followed up by the company in a timely manner. I am 62 years old (semi-retired) and I can tell you that experience and professionalism together are the ingredients you want to see for a successful outcome.

At 9:30 A.M., Jon the electrician showed up as promised, having sent an e-mail to advise me of his arrival. He appraised the situation competently and provided an accurate estimate of the work. Jon began work at 10:30 and over the course of five hours, replaced the fluorescent lights, installed a new light in a utility room and replaced two electrical sockets. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, informative and hard-working. The work was done perfectly and I am extremely pleased with his efforts and the price. We were renovating our main bath and needed some electrical work done. New install for bathroom fan with separate switch, two new pot lights one in shower and one by vanity, add an extra GFI receptacle and a heated floor with programmable thermostat. Since we were acting as the general contractor on the job various trades had to coordinate. unfortunately one problem affects everyone else. Kirsch did the ruff in for the electrical and worked with us through the problems and the result is a beautiful new bathroom that they helped us accomplish. We initially called them because of the excellent reviews and that they were close to us and were not disappointed.

Kirsch performed a knob & tube rewire in an old century home. We really appreciated how thorough, detailed, and communicative Henry was, starting from the initial quote and appraisal. For the quote he examined the panel meticulously and mapped out the extent of the job, as well as noting other issues he recommended we fix. The quote was accurate and detailed with each line item we had discussed, and he followed up promptly to address questions. This was a great experience and job from start to finish. I had them provide a service upgrade from 100Amp to 200Amp. First, when they came to quote everything was discussed and clear. Then the communication and coordination from Suzanne made everything along the way pleasant. When Kevin showed up on the day of the install, he was professional and incredibly well organized. Once again bang on with this company. The whole process is so easy from start to finish. There is no question about what the costs are, the timeline and type of work. It's all included in the step by step instructions. It took three weeks from my first email to the date my work was completed. Very fast. The workers came on time and it took the time that they said it would so I was prepared. The work again was neat and tidy and cleaned up. The gentlemen that came were friendly and efficient and answered all of my questions. Once again I would hire these folks in a second to do any of my future work.

I hired Kirsch to wire my hot tub in. Unfortunately there was a problem with the used hot tub. They stayed until they were able to tell me what was the most likely reason.Henry also came out to troubleshoot and help. I was still very impressed with John and Prentice and their professionalism. They also did a repair on my meter necessitating the power to be shut off. They did this job quickly only requiring my power to be off for about an hr on a very hot and humid day. This was a big deal as my husband has cardiac and respiratory health issues. I would definitely use Kirsch Electric again.

Kirsch Electric did some work in my house over a year ago. Everything was done well and we had no complaints, but yesterday one of the switches they installed stopped working. I emailed Kirsch and asked if they could come back to look at the switch, and they responded immediately and came out to replace the switch in question the next day(today) at no additional cost. I appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism, and would highly recommend them to anybody in Hamilton!

After an architect friend recommended Kirsch Electric, Henry set up a quote visit promptly and gave a reasonable quote. The three full day wiring upgrade job was scheduled quickly and the fellows were very pleasant to have in the house, working very efficiently and gave explanations as to what they were doing and why which was informative. Kirsch electric cane to our home and sorted out our wiring and ran new wiring through the home, they did an incredible job, very knowledgeable, punctual and willing to answer all our questions, there pricing is fair and they are fast and efficient.
